Need help with bitshift operation

Question

please help me divide a number with 24 using bitshift operation
i know to multiply a number with 24
x = (x<<4) + (x<<3)
but how to divide it with 24???

only want to use bitshift for my 24x24 tile background
this one i use to get the shift operator
