Need help with creating template. Changes are not going through to index.html page

Hi all,
I have an issue with my template that I am creating and also a question about creating template Regions (Repeating and Editable).
Somehow my changes to my index.dwt are not changing my index.html page.
Also my other question is: For my top navigation bar and left navigation bar links, do I need to select and define each individual button or link as Repeating/Editable Region? or can I just select the whole navigation bar (the one on the top) etc...
Below are my steps for creating my template...I am kinda fairly new to using DW and this is my first attempt to making a template following the DW tutorial CD that came with DW CS3.

-Open my index.html file
-File/save as template
-Save
-update links - yes
-Select Repeating and Editable Regions (I selected the whole top navigation bar and selected Repeating Region and Editable Region, same with the left side navigation links)
-File close all
-Open the index.dwt
-Save as and selected the index.html and chose to overide it..
When I make changes to my index.dwt it is not changing the index.html
I feel that I am missing some important steps here.....

I need help with creating PDF with Preview...

I need help with creating PDF documetns with Preview. Just a few days ago, I was able to create PDF files composed of scanned images (notes) and everything worked perfectly fine. However, today I was having trouble with it. I scanned my notebook and saved 8 images/pages in jpeg format. I did the usual routine with Preview (select all files>print>PDF>save as PDF>then save). Well this worked a few days ago, but when I tried it today, I was able to save it, but the after opening the PDF file that I have saved, only the first page was there. The other pages weren't included. I really don't see anything wrong with what I'm doing. I really need help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't find it. I went into advanced and then document processing but no batch sequence is there and everything is grayed out.
EDIT: I realized that you cant do batch sequences in standard. Any other ideas?

Service Account details are not going through header(OSB Business service)

I have an issue with service account. Assume I have a proxy service A, Business Service B, Proxy service C.
A invokes B and B invokes C (A --> B --> C). All calls are through http protocol.
I created a service account with userid and password details and attached it to the Business service B(Static for basic authentication).
Added log activity in proxy service C for context variable $header to verify whether userid and password are coming through request header or not.
I executed proxy service A from sbconsole but I couldn't see userid and password details of created service account in the logs. Only nemespace are logged in the file.

Can someone please help me why service account details are not going through business service request. Am I missing any steps?

Basic authentication information is stored under transport headers (check $inbound) whereas $header is populated for message headers (for e.g. - SOAP headers), so you should be checking $inbound instead of $header

Emails from the organization are not going through ePrint

Hi,
I've been having some issues with the ePrint feature that's configured in one of the printers that we have in our office. The printer is a HP LaserJet 200 color MFP M276nw. Every other client from other email addresses such as Hotmail, Gmail or any other address are able to send emails to our ePrint address and are able to print on it successfully. However, all the emails that are being sent from within our organization are not going through. We get an unsuccesful delivery message from the Exchange server stating that
The server has tried to deliver this message, without success, and has stopped trying. Please try sending this message again. If the problem continues, contact your helpdesk
We had checked with our Exchange administrators and they have advised that the email is trying to be sent, but in the destination it is being rejected. How can I get this issue to be addressed?

Are you getting any messages about the failed messages in your ePrintCenter/HP Connected account? If so what does the message state about the failed job?

Yes, many are experiencing this issue. A phone reset or going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings resolves the issue.

There's an article that Apple has acknowledged this issue. They recommend turning off imessages, reset all settings and then reactivate imessages.
If that doesn't work, you may just have to wait until they release an update, which should be pretty soon.

Need help with my templates

Hope someone can help me!
Im creating a website using a template in dreamweaver CS4
I created my index page, with all my links etc running down the left hand side in a div tag (this is going to be my navigation) and my content in a different div on the right (this is going to be my div that changes on each page.)
I then converted this page to a template, and created a new page from my new template as my index page. I then quickly created another page from my template (about.html) All systems go! Here are my troubles.
Starting with my about.html page, and for the other pages im using a different background image in my content div. When i go to change the background image in my CSS file for that div, it automatically changes all the background images on the other pages. Im guessing this is because im using the same CSS file on all my pages.
How do i change the background image in the div without effecting the other pages?

When you created the index page, did you save it as a template file? so that it's inside a Templates folder with the extension of index.dwt?
When you created the about page, did you just use the index page and resave it or did you do it correctly by: File>New>Page from Template
It sounds like you are working on the template page and updating the picture which is then going through to the child pages.
Make the image an editable region in the template, so that you can change the picture on any of the child pages.

Web template changes are not saved.

Hello Experts,
I making a small change to an existing Web Template namely changing the tab page 1 to tab page 2 and vice versa.
I could see the message Changes are saved but at the end web template is same like as it was.
Any idea why changes are not being saved and how to over come this will be of great help.

I need help with creating some formulas

I'm not sure if anyone around here can help me, but I'm trying to create a Numbers document and need some help with creating a formula/function.
I have a column of amounts and I would like to create a formula which deducts a percentage (11.9%) and puts the result in another column.
If anyone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Here is an example that shows one way to do this:
The original data is in column A. In column B we will store formulas to adjust the amounts:
1) select the cell where you want to formula (in this case cell B2)
2) Type the "=" (equal sign):
3) click cell A2:
4) now type the rest of the formula which is: "*(100-11.9)/100" that is asterisk, then open parenthesis, 100 minus eleven point nine close parenthesis forward slash one hundred
The Asterisk is the multiply operator (times) and the forward slash is the division operator (divide)
now hit return. select cell B2 and hover the cursor over the bottom edge of the cell:
drag the little yellow dot down to "fill" the formula down as needed.

Can someone help me please understand what i need to define in order to make the brush behave like a continues brush instead of duplicate it?

what you need to do is make a brush that looks like the tip of a brush. photoshop has several already but you can make your own that will be better.
get a paintbrush and paint a spot kind of like what you did but dont paint a stroke. make it look kindof grungy. then make your brush from that, making sure to desaturate it and everything.
EDIT:
oh, and if you bring the fill down to like 10-20% your stroke will look better

well i am not able to get any value from connection.getOutputStream() and i doubt my applet is not able to hit the servlet. could you review my code and tell me if it has some bug somewhere. and more over i want to know how to send multiple file data from applet to servlet . i want some sample or example if possible.

My documents are not going to the cloud from pages what should i do?

Some of the documents that I have on my iphone are not going to icloud. I went to the settings and i am supposed to be saving my documents to icloud but when i go to the icloud they are not there

My messages are not going through imessage

I am unable to send message in my ipad through imessage. However my iphone is working fine and I am able to send messages.

Mine are randomly going through but when I send them to my phone there is no sound notification or badge on the icon even though I have those settings on. Their servers may be having intermittent problems. I just had on come through that I sent a while ago.
