Need help with editing drum sound

Hi, I'm trying to edit drum sound(got it from Standard Kit) that I input with my MIDI but I have no idea how to make the drum sound higher.( Is it possible anyway? Please help!

Well tonym2410, I'm afraid it's one way or another! If you're not content with with the stock beats, you'll have to produce them by yourself and in order to accomplish this you will have to do a bit of learning, no way around that!

Need help with editing flash

Hello everyone, I'm really new to flash and I have some problems with editing my flash file. Currently, I have a small flash application in a folder, containing various kinds of files such as AS, SWF, FLA, HTML. What I want to do is to change the text inside one of the buttons in the application. After doing some reasearching, I realized that I should probably make some changes to the FLA file(Quiz.fla for example) since Quiz.fla is the only FLA file in the folder. Therefore, I opened it using Adobe Flash CS5.5, what what I found out is that the Quiz.fla file is really different from other FLA files. It only shows a plain background when I open it, without showing the actual interface of the flash application. It does contain all the buttons and contants under the Library section on the right side of Adobe Flash . When I try to change the text inside the button then save-publish, the newly published SWF file would just be a static picture of the button I've changed and everything else is gone. Any help is greatly appreciated!

ya, that's why I'm confused. I've actually tried editing some sample flash FLA files and all I need to do is to edit them in the Library and it would work out. But this one seems to have some weird problems. I could actually send the application folder to you if you have some time to take a look at it. Thank you very much again for the help!

Need help with N93i Video sound/audio problem........

hi,
i really hope someone can help me out here...
after i have done with recording video clips and i replay the video,the phone speaker came out a very noisy sound (is like a bad Radio Frequencies noise)
why or how is this happen ???
how can i stop the noisy sound that came out from the phone speaker ?

yes,the sound appear to be the same too when i play on the pc
the noisy sound came from the loudspeaker outlet,

Need help with web mail sound

Apparently in seup in web mail, one can check the box for a sound to be heard when new mail arrives...ie.."You got mail or something to that effect." Getting info on this subject or any subject is like pulling teeth ..all i get is links that do not answer to my problem. What will it take to get a live person or at the least a response to my question. Also, when I open verizon.net to read or see if I have had any mail, I sign in correctly, and am asked if i forgot my password. I didn't forget, apparently verizon has...so just on a whim, in that same page, I click on the link email and voila, i see my mail...Now, that being said, whats to prevent anyone else to read my mail by doing the same thing? I even resetted the password...and I thought Time warner internet was bad.

Need help with editing AVCHD files in Final Cut Express 4

The AVCHD files were recorded on a Canon HG10 before I bought a Mac Pro OS X 15.1.
I transfered them to a file on my desktop, like the instructions tell me to do, but when I get to the part of "mount the media files in the log and transfer", I get stuck.
The file is named AVCHD and when I try to upload it into the Log and Transfer window through the little plus sign on the left hand top corner, I get the following message:
"AVCHD" contains unsupported media or has an invalid directory structure. Please choose a folder whose directory structure matches supported media."
It does not allow me to import the files individually. I tried dragging the files to where it says "Drag media here" and nothing happens. If I try to drag the file to the area in the top left corner of log and transfer, I get the same message as above.
What do I need to do?

I have a different camcorder, but my experience might be of help to you.
I have a Sony HDR-UX1 AVCHD camcorder that records to 8cm DVDs.
I tried using Apple Final Cut Express 4's FILE > LOG AND TRANSFER command to capture directly from the 8cm DVD, which resided in an external Sony DVD drive... and I was not successful.
Then, I remembered my experience on Windows XP where I used Corel's Ulead VideoStudio 11 Plus.
With Ulead VideoStudio 11 Plus, I found I had to drag the contents of removable media discs and disks to my Windows desktop, which then allowed me to use the software video capture tools successfully.
So I tried the same thing with Apple Final Cut Express 4.
I dragged the BDMV FOLDER on my 8cm AVCHD disc to my Mac's desktop.
I then used the FILE > LOG AND TRANSFER command and simply browsed to the folder on the desktop and -- Voila! -- the contents of the folder appeared as video thumbnails in the LOG AND TRANSFER WINDOW and everything worked.

Need help with problem using sound and vibration examples. question repost

I am generating a wav file using the sound and vibration example vi "SVXMPL_Wav Recorder(DAQmx)" using a ni 7422 board. Then, using the example vi SVXMPL_Getting started with SVT(Simulated)" attempting to play back that file. the wav file will load and play back on the graphs fine but when I click the "Play Wav File" which sends the audio to the computers speaker, I get the error "Cannot recognise sound Format". It plays the shipped example files fine. I can also play the wav files I generate on a Windows audio player. Don't know a lot about the sound and vibration toolkit or wav file formats but need to get these two to work together. Using LV 8.5 and sound and vibration toolkit 4.0. This is a bit of a repost of the same question ask last week but not answered. Thanks

Need help with no camera sounds & recording in Captivate 5

I am an experienced user of Captivate 3 & 4, but I'm having lots of problems with Captivate 5. I am working on a Windows 7 OS and have just installed Captivate 5. When I try to record I can't get any camera sounds, even though I have changed my preferences to show them. Also, Captivate seems to be recording erratically, and sometimes it is catching actions, other times it isnt' I am running the program as Administrator and I am very puzzled by this. Normally Captivate has worked like a charm out of the box. Now it seems to be fighting my every step of the way. Am I missing something?
Audio recording seems spotty too. Sometimes it works just fine, other times Captivate just hangs and doesn't really record any sound.
Any help would be appreciated/

Hello and welcome to the forum,
First to be sure: did you install the patch released in December (Help, Updates...)? If not try that first of all. You can find details about the issues solved by this patch in this blog post:
Patch for Captivate 5
If this doesn't help, try to clear the cache (Preferences, Global).
Perhaps (not sure) your Preferences folder has become corrupt. It so, try to find it. In Win7 normally it is a folder (Captivate 5) in this path:
\users\<username>\appdata\local\adob
Maybe you will have to change the settings to make this folder visible in Explorer, by default it is in a system folder and invisible. You can delete this folder (while CP is closed) and when you restart CP a brandnew one will be created.

Need help with editing audio...

I am in the processof editing a file that contains audio however I do not have the source audio files. Is there a way to extract the sound file (mp3) to an editor (wavepad)... so that I can edit it and replace it?

Make a new Flash movie, drag the sound file that you want into the Library of this new movie. Add the sound file to the timeline and extend the timeline to show the whole sound. Save the movie. Export a Quicktime video of that movie. Use no compression. You can now export the sound from this .mov file using Quicktime pro or any video editor application.

Need help with edit issue...

I've got a edit that i was working on in FCp 5.1.2 and reinstalled my OS and then FCP 6...now the edit looks correct by the thumbnails, but the wrong clips show up....re connect media doesn't fix it. it seems that the original master clip outside of FCP correspnds to all my subclips(example..if subclip reads 00:02:30:27, the master clip in QT corresponds to same spot)...but when I open same clip in FCP 6...the audio is out of sync and the wrong section of the clip shows up(example if suclips reads 00:02:30:27, it shows up at wrong section in viewer and timeline).

I'v tried what X recommended, but no change in problem....when I try to open clip in a new sequence I have the same problem where the clips audio is off and the video ends about 10 minutes early, but you can still hear the audio( out of sync)...this same clips plays perfectly in QT. I have FCP 5.1.2 on a different machine and the clips opens ok, but the sequence is still out of wack.

Need help with edit problem

while making an edit on a photo, I did something wrong. Now the system seems to be frozen. In organizer it just won't respond, then I get a box saying elements isn't respnonding. I can open up editor and get to the picture I was working on, but in the layers box where the photo is also displayed there is a little lock next to it. Can anybody please tell me how to fix this problem?

If there is only one layer and its been named as background, then double click on it and you will see a pop up to rename it, or keep it as Layer 0.
If the layer is already renamed to layer 0 and still its locked then click on the lock icon in the bottom of the layer pane. to unlock the layer.

The program software should install fine (others report using it successfully) but the difficulty has always been registering it. To do this you need to find a program (that often people discard, unfortunately) called ce2kreg.exe and run that. That's where you enter your registration details, and how you get rid of all the noises that CE2000 will put all over your audio otherwise (unless you severely restrict the facilities you can use).
It used to be the case that if you'd lost the registration program but had the serial numbers, that Adobe would send you a copy of ce2kreg.exe, but somehow I doubt that they'd be willing to do this any more - it was a long time ago now, after all.
