As your notebook is a business class machine, security is more stringent - the password is stored in non-volatile memory and there are no 'backdoor' passwords. Your best option would be to contact HP regarding this.

I'm about to upgrade my hard drive to a larger one and will need to reinstall my CS6 Web/Design Suite... I've seen many people having issues with activation and licensing after they reformat their computers or buy a new one and try to install the programs on the new "system". How should I go about preparing my Adobe software on the current hard drive so I won't have any issues resintalling on the new hard drive? I will be installing CS6 Student/Teacher version on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit...

I wondered if that was all I needed, but when I built my new system and installed PS CS4 I kept getting errors. So, I went back to the old system and deactivated it and still got errors. Uninstalled it deactivated and still got errors on the new system. When I talked to Adobe they just kept telling me the key was invalid (even though I had been running that same program and key for the last 4 years without problems lol) and it was not a burnt copy or pirated. I had the orginal box with the original DVD case and serial number on the case... A friend of mine had upgraded their rig and went to a Suite so he gave me his CS4. But, needless to say (as it is said all over these forums apparently) Adobe was of no help at all so I had to buy a new version. I'm not looking to go through all of that BS again, haha.
So as long as I deactivate the Suite (or do I need to deactivate each program separately?) I should be able to reformat (or upgrade hard drives) and reinstall CS6 as many times as I want? (I usually do a reformat like once a year to keep my computers clean and free of junk that may have been downloaded by other household members...)

Did you not transfer them to your computer? and back them up?
You only get one download.
Unless you are in the U.S where Apple has released a Beta version of icloud.
If not in the U.S., you could try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception. they are under no obligation to allow.

Need help with moving files into Itunes and syncing

Please help.
I have an external hard drive with my music on it. I created a new playlist in Itunes and did a drag and drop from my external hard drive into my newly created playlist.
Now that I go back and play the items I brought over, I get an error that says "original files not found" and it won't play and therefore does not seem to be syncing to the Ipod to be able to play.
Can you please give me guidance as to what I can do without recreating all the work I had already done?

However, the problem looks difficult, not difficult actually. Two factors make efforts on it. One is the new characteristics of Windows 8 system, the other is software technology development. So just let me help you to solve it. Just choose one and put it into practice:1. Get User password via Windows Password Hint.2. Get into computer with PIN code, and reset password for locked account.3. Login windows 8 Via Microsoft MSN Account.4. Reset Windows password with another available admin account.5. Get Administrator password via Windows Password HintWhen we are creating our Windows system account and login password, a password hint will be asked to set up for preparation. How to save, combine and retrieve the images on hard drive using IMAQ in labview

I am using NI-1426 frame grabber to capture images of 800x1 resolution with 270 bands. Actually, I want to capture images from camera and saving into the hard drive continuously so that my buffer does not run out of memory. After capturing say 100 images of same resolution (800x1), I want to combine all images into ENVI format and then again save on hard-drive. Please guide me how can I do that?

Let me explain it in little detail.
I am using PCI NI-1426 frame grabber to capture the images at particular frame rate. Ni-1426 has 2 ports i.e. 26 pin camera and 15 pin triggering port. I am sending the pulse per second (pps) signal from gps to the triggering port. I want to check for the pps signal through the frame grabber 15 pin port. Please tell me how can I listen to a trigger through a frame grabber in labview? As I have connected pps signal on pin1 in 15 pin port, I want to read that pin. or how can I read a particular pin data in labview? I have already checked that I am getting pps signal through oscilloscope.

I need help in putting together a 2-3 minute video for my Kickstarter fund raising campaign titled 1 YEAR, 10,000 PIECES, 1 ARTIST Live Streaming 24/7. I only have images and voice to work with no video camera and I need as simple iMovie tutorial as possible since I have a brain injury disability, which means it takes me about 4 times longer then a person with an un-injured brain to put together something like this.

Need help with Low disk space issue and blue screen

Hi Everyone, just seen a message stating a low disk space on my Mac pro bought last November and tried plugging in an external hard drive to remove some pictures to free up some space but it seems that the computer did not have enough space left to start up and run the hard drive. I then tried to restart and ended up with a blue screen and have no knowledge now how to fix this problem. I phoned support but they say I have no technical support left but do have warranty and I would need to either try with the community here or take the unit to an apple store for an appointment. The store is an 1 and 1/2 from me and I really want o see if there is another fix that could allow me to start again then remove some files and then add external drive to remove more. I was blown away at the low amount of storage.....looked for the icloud option last night to upload there as i was told about this by a UK client of mine and now see it is not up and running. Any advice or help by the communtiy would be greatly appreciated as this is my business and travelling laptop. Cheers, Dean <")))><

Further notes: OSX needs about 15% or 10GB Free space minimum, but will run mucch faster/safer with 30-40% or 50GB of Free Space... Free Space is no longer ours to use.
Another tool to help clear up assorted things is Applejack...

After installing, reboot holding down CMD+s, (+s), then when the DOS like prompt shows, type in...
applejack AUTO
Then let it do all 6 of it's things.
At least it'll eliminate some questions if it doesn't fix it.
The 6 things it does are...
Correct any Disk problems.
Repair Permissions.
Clear out Cache Files.
Repair/check several plist files.
Dump the VM files for a fresh start.
Trash old Log files.
First reboot will be slower, sometimes 2 or 3 restarts will be required for full benefit... my guess is files relying upon other files relying upon other files! :-)
Disconnect the USB cable from any Uninterruptible Power Supply so the system doesn't shut down in the middle of the process.

iCloud is temporary storage - limited to 1,000 photos and 30 days for each photo.
Photos/videos in your iPhone's Camera Roll can and should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera especially before installing an iOS update.

Need help with Color Profiles between Photoshop and iPhoto

Hey guys, I'm a photographer and have always used Photoshop in comination with iPhoto. I am having great difficulty lately with color profiles randomly changing within albums of pictures. I need all of my images to be in sRGB, but some somehow end up in Adobe RGB. It seems to happen at random. Apple seems to think it's an Adobe problem. Adobe isn't sure what to do. Anybody aware of any known issues between CS5 and iPhoto using OS 10.8.4 with regard to color profiles and how to fix them?

Using MS access 9.0.2720 visual basic proceedure to call Adobe reader to open a specific flle from a folder on my c drive.
useing the shell command , shellexecute is not available in the version I'm using.
I can call the Reader with this code: call shell "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe" and it will open reader, but
I can't seem to get it to open a specific PDF file, I tried
