Need help with merging itunes accounts.

Hello. I was wondering if any of you mac experts can help me. My husband and I recently purchased a new mac and are having trouble figuring out how to merge our information into our computer's itunes. I set up the computer under my apple ID/email. However we both have separate apple id's linked with the same bank account information. The problem is, itunes on our computer isn't recognizing any of the purchases through my husband's apple id, even though they were paid for through the same account. I haven't been able to figure out whether or not I can add his apple id/email to itunes and merge the two, since a substantial amount of music/apps/etc were purchased under his ID. Surely it's possible to have more than on apple id on one family's computer? Anyone know? Hopefully I worded this clearly enough. Thanks!

Open the NetInfo Manager in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder, click the padlock, type in your password, and then locate that account in the list of users. Delete that account and only that account; don't make any other changes. The account's home folder will remain on the drive.

Okay so I moved to USA from Australia and I changed my address and all that for the account but when I open iTunes it say that my account isn't valid for use in the United States. So I look into it and it says I need to have no credit left over to change my account from Aus to USA.
Okay so my question is how do I use 15 cents in the iTunes Store so I can change my iTunes so it works, does any one have any suggestions.

You can contact iTunes Store support and ask them to remove it - http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ that is, agree to forfeit it and they can remove it.
Or, buy something, and pay for the remainder of the balance with a credit card (if you still have one in Australia you can use?).

this is my son's account. He is autistic and somehow figured out how to use my card and purchase itunes I am freaking out because just found out he has spent over 700 dollars on itunes. I just lost my job and cant pay my mortgage because I dont have enough becaouse of these charges. I do not understand what he bought for so much money...over 40 dollars at a time as songs are only .99 cents. Is there anything I can do about the current charges...can you take back whatever he purchased? I thought his phone was blocked for this and I dont know how it happened...Please help!!!

Need help with my iPhone 5 and my Macbook Pro. I was purchased some music on itunes at my mac. Some reason I deleted those music from both on Mac and iPhone 5. Today, I went to my iPhone iTunes store inside of iCloud to redownload my puchased. But those song won't able to sync back to my iTunes library on my Mac. Can anyone help me with that ??....

Helo, I need help with iTunes Match.
I signed up for iTunes match. It did its thing and now it is supposed to have every one of my songs in the cloud.
I checked for Ring my bell (Which I purchase from iTunes) and it is not on my iTunes on my computer anymore?
I did match to give my 4S with limited memory and over 400 songs the ability to put all songs in the cloud, then by connecting to my computer, somehow I can tell my phone to not sync with match, the re sync and all the songs would be deleted from my phone and then I could down load any songs I wanted on my phone, thus giving me a bunch more memory. I could not figure out how to do this?

You probably won't like this suggestion, but I suggest you reinstall Lion.
First, backup your system. Next, reboot your system, press/hold the COMMAND-R keys to boot into the Recovery HD. Select 'Reinstall Mac OS X'. If you purchased Lion as an upgrade to Snow Leopard, the reinstall process will install Lion 10.7.3. If your system came preinstalled with Lion, you might still get Lion 10.7.2. Both installs are a total install of the OS. None of your apps or data will be impacted. Just the OS.

Help with Merging Two Accounts....

We ended up with two my Best Buy accounts.
I called up and talked with someone, who said they would merge the accounts....
A few hours later, when I logged in, the website said I had two accounts and to choose one to view.
That lasted for about 4 days,
Then, the website didn't ask anymore and just logged into one account ... which I thought meant the merge had occured.

If the primary information shared between the two accounts matches, then we should have no problem merging them. That process would involve closing one account, and then moving any unused points/certificates from the closed account to the active primary account.

In my iTunes account I have my Credit bank Card info filled out as Blank because in the Past I had someone broken into my iTunes account and use my Credit Card info to Purchase stuff that I didn't Authorized.

Help with 2 iTunes accounts on 1 computer

A few questions here
Gfs laptop has broke so to replace going to get an iPad so she wants to put her iTunes account on my computer.
I am assuming the simplest way to do this (windows 7) is to create her own user name, sign herself in, download iTunes and put her apple I'd in?
Also before syncing her iPhone to her iTunes account on my computer, she wants her photos/videos backed up without using iTunes for fear of losing them when updating to iOS 5.0.1 (currently using 4. Something)
I am assuming to do this you need to check make iPhone storage device then my computer select her phone then drag n drop to a new created folder for he iPhone photos?
Next is she has very little music not purchased through iTunes which is obviously on her iTunes account. Can she somehow copy Music that I have on my iTunes that has been either imported from cd's or downloaded (not from iTunes store) from my iTunes to hers? Possibly copying the files somehow

hmmm. if you're getting this when you're plugging in an ipod and you're using itunes 6.0.4.2, let's try enlisting some additional technical help.
we'll get a crash log from itunes, and send it to so someone who can interpret crash logs.
Typically, you'll need to configure Dr. Watson on your PC in order to generate crash logs. Windows start menu -> Run. Type in "cmd". Hit return. At the prompt in the command line window that comes up, type in
drwtsn32 -i
And hit return.
This will create crash logs in Documents And Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson\. There'll usually be a file in here called "drwtsn32.log"
prior to collecting the itunes crash log, delete any existing crash logs in there. (we want to make sure we send the correct crash log.)
plug in your ipod, collect the crash log, and send it to this email address
in the email:
(1) state the precise version number of itunes that you're using. (go into your "Help > About iTunes" to doublecheck.)
(2) state the precise version of the ipod updater that you're using, the precise software version on your ipod, and the model of your ipod:

Identifying different iPod models
(3) include the URL to this thread so that the person who gets the email has some context, but also give as much information about the context of the crashing as you can.

Need help with ipod itunes syncing problem just occured

i restored my computer to factory settings and when i did that i lost my itunes and when i reinstalled it and tried to sync my ipod to the new installation of itunes it said that my ipod is synced with another itunes and that to sync it wiht this itunes it would delete and replace all data on my ipod with data from my itunes which is nuthing please help i dont wanna lose all my songs and apps an all that

You should have created a backup of your Itunes library before your computer restore to factory setting so that you can copy them to your new iTunes.
Sync is only oneway, from PC to your device. Unless you have the music on your PC, iTunes is going to wipe out what you have on your device if you are syncing to a new library.
You can only transfer Purchased music over to Itunes on your PC.

As for you own music, you may have to use a third party software to copy over. A good Free one is called Sharepod which you can download from Download.com here:
