Need help with music
I have bought a used Ipod with music already on it and would like to keep some of the music. I know from former experiance with another Ipod that Itunes will automatically delete the songs since they are not in the current library. Is there any way to keep this music or will I have to just forget about it?
You are unable to keep the music from the former user's music because it is not technically "stored" on your ipod device. (ipods are designed to erase and sync).
THe music is actually stored on the former owner's computer. The same thing as your computer, usually on your C:/ drive (for windows) in a file. iTunes "locates" the file to place it into iTunes and sync it on your device.
So the former owner's music and library is different than your library and music. iTunes and ipods are designed to detect the conflict in librarys.
You have to erase and sync when it prompts you to. Sorry. You can't "add to" the former owners' library music, because you don't have it on YOUR computer.
That would be copywrite infringement and technically "stealing".

My old computer has died. All my music is on my iphone 5. Ive installed itunes onto a new computer and cant seem to get my music from my phone onto the itunes libary on my new computer. Also every time I try and get the music from my new computer onto my iphone it comes up with a error????
I cant seem to sync the phone to the new itunes either, even though its the same apple id and password.

Cheers Evelyn )Once the Mac can see your Mac then you can use a program such as PhoneView (http://www.ecamm.com/mac/phoneview/) to see the content of you iPhone and transfer it to the Mac.
Did the Mac die or did the HD die? If the issue is the Mac then you should be able to remove the HD and install in an external case to transfer the content to the new Mac.

now when i try and connect to music store i get the message
"Itunes could not connect to the music store. Make sure your network connection is active and try again".
But nothing is wrong with my internet connection.
This happened a while a go, but i downloaded the new itunes (with video, as i didn't have the video player before) and it worked again.
I've now tried to download itunes again but the music store still doesn't open.
could any please help. And maybe tell me how to get my music store up and runnin.

If this is not the issue, then you will first want to disable any firewalls you have and see if you can now get thru. You may also want to disable antivirus for a split second to see if you can get thru then -
Need help with music videos and audio cd's
ok, ive already asked, and for some reason, nobody responded. and i posted the question TWO days ago. so again, there is a song that i want to buy, but there is a music video of it that i could buy and the music video has an extra verse on it that i really like but itunes doesnt sell the video version as a normal mp3. and i want to know, before i waste my money, if i buy the music video and put it on an audio cd, will the cd player play the audio of the music video? somebody please help. thank you very much to whoever helps me with this.

No.
If the music video is not copy-protected (if it doesn't have the "+" symbol next to the price, it's copy protected), then you may be able to use QuickTime Pro or another editor to extract and convert the audio track from the video. There also may be Windows programs that could capture the audio output of iTunes; there are such programs for Macs and I'd guess that similar programs exist in Windows.
I'd suggest, though, that you first check with the other download stores such as Amazon and see if they have the track available as an audio-only download. -
I just got my ipod shuffle and i had all my music stored in- my documents/my music folder and i installed itunes and all that with the cd it came with. and it inported all my mp3 files. but i had a bunch of windows media files. i found a mp3 encoder and made them all mp3 for my ipod. but in itunes they dont show up. and any new songs i download dont show up only the ones that loaded when i installed it. how do i get my music on the library? do i have 2 move my music somewhere. srry im new 2 this thx for ur help
Hi there.
Any music you download with iTunes is automatically added to your library, so I'm not sure what is up with that without more info.
As for the other, when you converted the files outside of iTunes (it could have done it for you with unprotectd WMA files), you then needed to tell iTunes tere is new music.
To do this, choose add to library (add folder?), then navigate to the folder you want to add. Select it and iTunes will add all the new tracks in that folder to your library.
This needs to be done every time you use a program other than iTunes. -
Need HELP with music pitch is off
I plugged in my ipod to add some more songs to it from itunes and after that the songs on the ipod are off. You can hear from of the bass in the songs and can hardly hear the lyrics to it. Please Help!!!
Most of the songs are effected. When you start listening to the song the voices in the music is very low but the instruments in the song sound fine. I don't know if their is a setting that you can adjust this or not? They sound okay in itunes. It is also affecting songs that I already had on my ipod not just the ones I downloaded.

I've just bought an 80gb iPod and need help with music videos.....
...I've downloaded a music video which iTunes has put in my library under Music when I thought it would be under Movies. I can't move it to Movies, it won't let me. I can only transfer it to my iPod as a music file. How do get to watch it on my iPod?

AndyI suggest copying your entire iTunes library to your new computer, also you might want to copy the photos you want to save. Then sync your device to the new iTunes and copy over your music, documents and photos that you want.
If you are no longer going to use the old computer you should open up iTunes on the old computer and use the menu to deauthorize it. Be sure to use the same iTunes menu on your new computer to Authorize the new one. -
I am making a movie on my ipad using iMovie, need help with music.
I have a song that I put into my itunes library and then uploaded it into a dropbox folder. I have dropbox on all my apple products. Anyway, I would like to use this song in my imovie project. How do I get it into imovie from dropbox. It is a an aif. file.
THANKS! KellyWhat you share on iTunes file share is the project itself, not the final video. Press share > camera roll. And then you can access the video on explorer/finder as any other photo.

I Need help deleting music off my iphone 4 with ios 7.
I can't do anything on my phone because it says my "storage is full".
Itunes says that I have all of my music that's in my libary on my phone
but I only want my "checked" songs on my phone.

You cannot use iTunes to transfer song files from iPod to computer, except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store. However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do an Internet search on something like"iPod transfer," you should get some links. Once the song files are on your computer's drive, you can add them to your iTunes library, and then sync your iPad. -

Hi,
I need help with my ipod nano.
I haven't turned it on in a while and suddenly it stops working when I try to turn it on again.
Sometimes it displays:
"www.apple.com/support/ipod"
And right now it's displaying "OK to disconnect".

I have my IPOD nano for a while now and about a week ago. My husband bought one for his newphew and he had me download all the songs into the new IPOD (2nd Generation). Now Im having problems with mine. Everytime I try to charge and usually the screen will pop up to my original music player. This is what it says now when I open or charge my IPOD.
"The File iTunes Library.it! cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes".
Now, that I listen to it...all the music skip. Please help me..what should I do??

I can't figure out how to get that music on to the player. To correct myself, I mean I know how to physically/logically copy it over to my player. All of that music is also?on the player in "Music" folder. I have this "Creative Centrale" installed and working. I need step-by-step instructions on how to create a PLAYLIST (I'm guessing), and have the?player play song after song in an album, not randomize the play. I think that is why I created that playlist. Need help with my iPhone 5 and my Macbook Pro. I was purchased some music on itunes at my mac. Some reason I deleted those music from both on Mac and iPhone 5. Today, I went to my iPhone iTunes store inside of iCloud to redownload my puchased. But those song won't able to sync back to my iTunes library on my Mac. Can anyone help me with that ??....
