Need help with my satellite a105 not sure what is wrong

I am not sure what is wrong but I think my laptop has viruses and I can not even update my virus software.
When I go to google and type in anything, say I type in virus protection it takes me to the search results but when I click on any of the sites I get redirected to other search pages. I can not get to any page even if I type it directly in the address bar.
I do not have a recovery disk that I know of because I was just going to reformat. Any ideas of what I can do? a computer guy wants $125.00 to fix it.

The problem is that, a lot of things work themselves deep into the Registry. Clearly you have some kind of click hijacker on your system if all your links are going places you don't want.
OK, so you can try a couple of things.
First, figure out if there is a way to update your anti-virus without doing it from within the program. It may be possible to download the update files on your other computer and burn them to CD. I would not recommend any method other than a CD-Rom. If you use a USB flash stick you may transfer the infection back to your other computer. If that's not possible...
Secondly, you can download a program called Hijack This on your other computer. http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/tools/security_tools/hijackthis It will tell you what is running on startup, what kind of browser helper objects (BHO's) you have in your browser, etc. If you can get this installed and run, post the log here, that will be useful to getting it fixed.

Yes, I looked at the shot at 1:32 in the video they made. They used a Steadicam to stabilize the camera going up the stairs. They used gels on the window to reduce the light intensity and help correct the color temperature. The interior spaces of the upstairs and downstairs have also been lit to avoid irising problems. They didn't rely on mere chance.
Did you also notice the subtle cuts at 00:38 and 1:54? That video was not shot in one take, and that's a fact. And before they even got to the step of color grading, they KNEW they had good video to work with because they had the professional experience to attain it.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features(Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

Can't get ACD working not sure what's wrong

First off can users with SNR or shared extensions work with ACD? I'm following the guide but can't get anything to work.
I made a basic ACD called 515 as the pilot number with all basic settings and put 2 of my extensions as members. I then put on my autoattendant that pressing 1 goes to the ACD.
If I call the auto attendant and press 1, it says connected, then just hangs up.
I also don't know how to tell if I'm logged in to the ACD or how to log out. It says in the help that you use the HLog key to log in and out, and I do have that key on my 7970 and 7960 but its grayed out on the 7970 and on both phones just says That key is not active here. So not sure what's wrong, it seems like it's just not working in general based on it just hanging up when the AA transfers a call to it. If I try to dial the pilot number I get a busy signal but I think it has to come from the AA from what the guide said.
Not sure what's going on or how to troubleshoot this, any suggestions?

Okay good to know because the help pages on setting up hunt groups say the extensions can't be shared ones so thought maybe that's why. It seems to be something though because I made a new normal extension, removed the shared ones from the ACD members list and added just the normal one. Now when I press HLog on the phone it logs in and out it says.
However calling the ACD does the same thing, just hangs up.
Is Shared extension not what I'm supposed to use if I want to have say extension 300 show on a physical phone and IP communicator? Since normal only lets you add it to one device, I assume share is the right option? Just seems like it causes issues with ACD.
Not sure how to run that command you said above, I'm just following the built in help which seems straightforward just not sure why it won't work.

Quit the application. Force quit if necessary.
Relaunch it by holding down the shift key and clicking its icon in the Dock. From the menu bar, select

Not sure what's wrong with my laptop.

My laptop looks like this (picture below) when I turn it on. I took it in to fix it because I was getting the blue screen but when i got it back they gave it to me like this and they told me it was a graphics card problem but I am totally confused. By looking at the picture, do you think that the screen is broken or could it be a video/graphics card problem? Any other possiblities? Thank you for your help!!
P.S. Not sure if it's needed but the model is dv7-4069wm

I will be happy to help you with trying to resolve the graphics problem with your HP Pavilion dv7-4069wm Entertainment Notebook. Have you been able to connect an external monitor to see if that shows the same issue? This is a way that we can make sure it's not the hardware of the notebook screen itself.

My iPad2 suddenly has battery draining very quickly. Started using Evernote and installed new OS. Not sure what is wrong

When i try to open a web page, a blue screen appears and it is telling me " safari cannot open the page because i am not connected to the internet. i have an iphone, no problem and a laptop with connection - no problem - not sure what the trouble is.

Could not click on anything in Recovery disk and log in screen, but I can move the cursor around. Using 10.8, not sure what's wrong, anyone have an idea?

So the problem is, I cannot click on anything in the Recovery Disk and Log in screens (to enter your password), but I can move the cursor. My trackpad works fine everywhere else except for these screens. If I connect a USB mouse, I am able to click on things in these screens.
NOTE: I am not just tapping, I am really clicking on the trackpad.
I recall some time ago when this wasn't happening, not sure if that was when I was on Leopard. I sort of suspect 10.8.x, but I'm not too sure.
Has anyone else experienced this? Would appreciate help. Thanks!

Need some help with this Design. Not sure if it can be done.

I am a full time RVer. I have a complex system installed in my RV. I am trying to share a wireless or use my AE to feed internet to the devices in my rack and allow my Apple TV to connect to my MBP over gigabit for streaming reasons.
Is there a way to share my internet to the AE so that it will feed the 3 ports? Can I somehow connect to a hotspot and share that internet connection to the other devices on my network wired and wireless?? I am mainly concerned with getting internet to the ATV while connected to it via ethernet for the gigabit connection.
It seems that I can connect the AE to a hotspot or WAP, but then I loose the ability to turn bridged mode off so that it will hand out DHCP ip addresses to the ethernet devices. I cannot extend any network unless the hotspot is using an apple device for its WAP. This is what apple told me when I was trying to extend my Linksys WAP4400N.
Any ideas or advice here would be great. I am just stuck for a solution to what I want to accomplish.

One possible solution....(if I understand correctly what you're trying to accomplish with what you have to work with) I'm assuming that the Linksys has no internet connection in the RV and isn't really needed in my idea below.....or do you have a satellite connection (or some other internet source besides a public wireless network?
You could have your MBP join the wireless network, set up internet sharing (see OS X help) and share from airport to ethernet, connect an ethernet cable from MBP to WAN port on the Extreme, set the Extreme's connection sharing to "share a public IP", ignore the double NAT error (or you may be able to bridge it, I can't remember if the MBP will hand out several IPs but I think it will), and plug your Apple TV into a LAN port on the Extreme. Come to think about it, you really don't even need the Extreme unless you need other clients to connect, just plug the Apple TV into the MBP.

NEED HELP with T400s ThinkPad, does not work!!

Hey guys I'm new to this forum.
Basically I purchased a T400s laptop 4 years ago and have been using it throughout college. Recently I have been having MANY issues and I can't pinpoint the hardware/software problem.
It constantly overheats, TPfancontrol was able to moderate it for a while but now it is just rediculous. When I click on any application (ie internet explorer) it takes up to 30 seconds to respond, during those 30 seconds the computer would 'freeze'. I am unable to use it now. I tried running a HD diagnostic test but the computer overheated and shutdown before the test could complete.
A friend has told me that it is probably a HD and RAM problem and that I should upgrade both. At this point I am wondering if I should just buy a new laptop.. I don't have the time to constantly try to fix this laptop and do not have $500 to send it in to get fixed with the risk of it happening again. Any ideas what this problem might be? PLEASE HELP!

well overheating could be one issue.
But given that your laptop is really slow even at the boot up, it could mean something else.
Can you run a hdd diagnostic from your BIOS menu?

my ipod touch does not show up on itunes(devises)or charge on my laptop.i have windows 8 and this sight doesnt have a resolution for windows 8.it shows up on my file explorer(it has a ! next to it and says a program i downloaded is not allowing or resticting my ipod from being reconized on my laptop.can some1 plz help me its drivn me crazy and ive tryd all the other solutions and none of it works.i have too charge it on my xbox and can not download any movies or music.Tnx!

I would start with:
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar
Also, connect to another computer to help determine if you have an iPod computer problem.

I need help with Flash Player, "movie not loaded".

Sometimes movie loads, sometimes not. Sometimes loads upon refresh, somtimes not. I cannot figure out how to get Flash to load reliably. This happens frequently while surfing the internet with IE10 on Windows 7 64bit sp. I use Microsoft Security Essentials and Windows Firewall. I prefer to set pop-up blocking on high but have lowered it to medium to no avail. I have uninstalled Flash using the step by step instructions on Adobe site and reinstalled version 12.0.0.77 twice. I have unstalled and reinstalled IE 10. Clearing the catch does not help. Clicking in and out of compatability setting also does not get flash to load. I have run out of ideas. Is there some setting I am missing. Flash is on so many sites and its so unreliable it is frustrating.

Sorry, I thought I had mentioned everything. Active x filtering is off and Shockwave flash object is enabled. I have cleared the IE catch and the Flash Player catch.
I should also point out that it is not that some videos play and others do not, The same video will work sometimes and sometimes not. I go back to check and sometimes the video loads and then it doesn't again. I wondered if it had to do with different advertisers before the link played or something like that. Something is randomly happening it seems.
