Need help with password for signature with Adobe Acrobat X Pro

Signature password is invalid in the PDF but when I use the same password to access the Adobe Webpage, it works perfectly. Where is the disconnect and how do I create a situation where the signature on the pdf recognizes my password?

With "license" you mean serial number? If that serial number was for a different Acrobat version (e.g. 9), you cannot use it for the current version XI.

Needs help sorting out a New clients Adobe Acrobat licenses.

I have a new client. They have 4 Licenses for Adobe Acrobat.
2 for Acrobate 8 Pro
1 for Acrobat 8 standard.
1 for Acrobat 9 Pro.
I replaced the machine that had Acrobat 9 Pro on it.
The old machine would not let me deactivate the license and the new machine accepted the license but would not activate it.
The company never documented their licenses. They think that at least the Acrobat 9 Pro was a downloaded license.
Talked to Support and they were no help. I needed to verify the email address that it was registered under. They told me it was a hotmail address which would of been right but since then they got their own Domain and Email and don't use HotMail any more so I can not get what they used for Hotmail and who's account it was registeed with.
All I want is to figure out the licenses that that this company bought and is entitled too under what terms and find out if they can be upgraded to Acrobat 11, but I don't know where to start with Adobe on this or if they will be cooperative. They have not been so far.
Any thouights or tips on where to start.
All I have is the srial number and Version for 4 installs of Acrobat. Can I work with that or is the company out of luck and have to buy all over again. If I do have top start over I will say that I will not be buying Acrobat from adobe but I will go to another PDF program. So Adobe can be cooprative and work with me and get me to pay and upgrade tthe license they have or I go somewhere else. I hope Adobe wants the money.
Any thoughts?

I have just re-scanned my document unclicking the "PDA/A Compliant" box and "viola" everything appears to working just "wonderfully"!

No way to know that.You must contact your customer service ,give all you serials,deactivate the machine where the soft was installed,they will tell you which serial was on it.

Newest version of firefox downloaded, i need an older version so that my adobe acrobat X pro 10.0 and Norton can be used as add ons. Which one please?

I need a different version of firefox to work with my adobe and norton. can someone please help me. I have tried the 32, 30, 29 and 22, they all say the add ons for those 2 plus one more add on i have say not compatible. I need firefox for work. The Adobe "Create PDF" extension is a more complicated issue. If you are stuck with version 1.2 (perhaps the last update available with Acrobat X?), this thread might be relevant: [https://support.mozilla.org/questions/999499 Firefox 29 broke Adobe Acrobat - Create PDF 1.2]. However, for security reasons, it would be better to try to figure out how to get it to work with Firefox 32.

Serial no. invalid problem and problem with creating PDF file using adobe acrobat x pro

I tried to download adobe X pro on my new computer and entered the serial No, bu the program said the number is invalid. Actually the number is valid, confirmed by the info listed in my account. please help! also I downloaded the trial version now, but when I use it, the file it created is not shown as adobe file, but as firefox HTML file. I don't know why. please help!

How to make a pdf (form) accessible for reader in Adobe Acrobat x pro?

Hi guys, i have bit of a problem here as i am new to the Acrobat pro X
Using Acrobat pro 9 i always could save a LiveCycle pdf form with permission to fill and save as a reader user. now i have upgraded to cs6 and i have no clue how to do that anymore. The half of the options are gone and i can't access the older Acrobat pro anymore.
Does anyone know how to save a pdf form using Acrobat X for adobe reader users giving permission to read and save my pdf files?

For Acrobat X go to File-> Save as->Reader Extended PDF
This will embed the reader extended rights in PDF.

Printer prints some PDF objects as filled (but shows borders only in preview). Print as image helps, but not for all computers. Acrobat X Pro, OCE printer.

We create PDF from Autocad using Adobe PDF printer. When printing that PDF file to OCE printer, some drawing objects are printed as filled (but Acrobat shows correctly - border only). If I open the PDF with Internet browser, I can see those objects as filled as well. If I print the PDF as image from some, not all computers - it prints ok, not filled.

I am using a Brother MFC 8460N and on Brother's site it says its compatible with win 8.1 and that the driver is already installed. When I try to scan I am told there is no preset (there was with win 7 though) and I have to "custom scan." When I try that, I hear a sound as if the printer is trying to scan, but the feeder can't pull the paper through. I then get a blank .pdf as my scan. Thanks for your advice. I will try that.

I am unable to activate my copy of Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro

I need assistance installing/activating the copy of Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro that came with my copy of Creative Suite 5 Web Premium. I tried to use the key for CS5 and my volume license key for Acrobat 9 Pro to no avail. I have a couple license keys written down, but neither works. I had this issue the last time I tried to install this, and now I'm preparing a replacement laptop for this end user an I'm encountering the same issue.

You can download the trial version of the software from the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

Embedded Videos in Adobe Acrobat X Pro

When viewing an interactive pdf I have created with embedded .flv files in Adobe Acrobat X Pro, there is a grey box (the size of the video) that quickly flashes before the file is played. I have set the video activation settings to enable when "The page containing the content is opened". Every time I open a page with video, the grey box appears before the video plays.
Is there a way to not have the grey box appear before the video plays? Or is there even a way to edit the color of this box so it is a less noticeable transition in my documet? I assume this is some sort of default setting to be displayed when the video loads.
Any suggestions regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Video in PDF is stored in a compressed format (flate), which has to be uncompressed at the point the annotation is activated. Depending on the video and the system specs of the viewer this can take a second or two, during which time the playback widget has nothing to show. You'll tend to see either a blank space, or the default color of the Flash stage.
With the Multimedia>Video tool you can't change the stage color, but if you manually add the video widget and resources using the Multimedia>SWF tool there's an option to make it transparent.
