Need help with re-registering a 2nd nano

Need help! I'm a new nano owner. I have 2 nanos (the 2nd is my boyfriend's). We have one computer. I unknowingly registered both under the same usename. How do I reinstall the 2nd under a new username so as to distinguish into 2 separate music libraries?

Thank you for the help. However, I ran into another problem. I choose "method three" - create a separate iTunes library for each iPod. I did just that and created a new library, named and saved it. Worked great! However, now I can't find the first library, which contains all MY selections of music. Please help. I am not well versed with the computer, so please explain in detail. Thanks!

My ipod touch is completely freezed! it show on the screen "Your ipod is stopped, Connect your ipod to iTunes" when I connect to iTunes it show this message "your ipod ... can not be connected to iTunes because it has a passcode, please enter the passcode and try to connect" but I have no access at all to anythin in my ipod!! I have tried to resetting it by pressing home button with wake/sleep button at the same time for more than 10sec but it did not work.

Thank you lllaass. I have tried your suggestion but the problem is that wake/sleep button does work (it physicaly work) but does not dislay the switch off slide because of the displayed message!

I keep getting a folder with an exclaimation mark. I have followed all the instructions on the support page but nothing is working, it is STUCK! I downloaded all the software as the quick start brochure indicated before I connected my ipod. Any suggestions?

I was upgrading my ipod and it went through the whole thing, then just as it was about to be done, there was an error and my ipod has been stuck on the "connect to itunes" screen ever since. I have tried to restore it multiple times, but it keeps having an 3194 error, but my itunes is up to date and i dont know what to do anymore.

I haven't turned it on in a while and suddenly it stops working when I try to turn it on again.
Sometimes it displays:

And right now it's displaying "OK to disconnect".

I have my IPOD nano for a while now and about a week ago. My husband bought one for his newphew and he had me download all the songs into the new IPOD (2nd Generation). Now Im having problems with mine. Everytime I try to charge and usually the screen will pop up to my original music player. This is what it says now when I open or charge my IPOD.
"The File iTunes Library.it! cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes".
Now, that I listen to it...all the music skip. Please help me..what should I do??

You cannot use iTunes to transfer song files from iPod to computer, except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store. However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do an Internet search on something like"iPod transfer," you should get some links. (The CNET article seems to be popular.)
Once the song files are on your computer's drive, you can add them to your iTunes library, and then sync your iPad.

iChat (it would help to know which version) can accept Apple IDs as valid AIM Screen Names.
However if you have iChat 5 or earlier you cannot use ones ending in @me.com or @icloud.com issued by iCloud. (they can be used in iChat 6 or Messages as these versions make a double login to AIM and Apple to allow the use of the password).
In addition if you are using an Apple ID for an AIM Screen Name the password still needs to keep to the 16 character limit that AIM has.
AN @mac.com name can be used on any version of iChat (Until the 30th June 2014)
As it does not need a double check with Apple you can use it to log in to the AIM Web pages
Login here with an AIM Name registered at AIM or and @mac.com name and see if you get any suspended account messages.
Sometimes account can be suspended. Usually because something has triggered the "Unusual Activity" item.
About a year ago many @mac.com users that travelled out of their own country found themselves suspended when they got home.
If the Name checks out of if an Apple ID the password in known to be 16 characters or Less then do this:-
In Lion upwards open a Finder Window and use the Go Menu whilst holding down the ALT key.
Select the Library that appears in the menu list.
Navigate to Preferences.
(If you have version earlier than Lion the just navigate to ~/Library/Preferences (that's the Library in you Home - Little House icon - folder)
Fnd com.apple.ichat.aim.plist (even if you are using Messages)
Drag the file to the Trash and Restart the app.

Need help with a simple process with FTP Adapter and File Adapter

I am trying out a simple BPEL process that gets a file in opaque mode from a FTP server using a FTP adapter and writes it to the local file system using a File Adapter. However, the file written is always empty (zero bytes). I then tried out the FTPDebatching sample using the same FTP server JNDI name and this work fine surprisingly. I also verified by looking at the FTP server logs that my process actually does hit the FTP server and seems to list the files based on the filtering condition - but it does not issue any GET or RETR commands to actually get the files. I am suspecting that the problem could be in the Receive, Assign or Invoke activities, but I am not able identify what it is.
I can provide additional info such as the contents of my bpel and wsdl files if needed.
Would appreciate if someone can help me with this at the earliest.

[Need help with a swf file]

Hello,
I need help with a flash demo that I am creating. I have a
main swf file that contains links to other sub swfs that I have
created. What I really want this to do is... when I click on one of
the link on the browser, the other swf have to load in the window.
I tried to code it with .loadMovie,.... but for some weird reason,
it is not showing up.
Can anyone help me on this?

you might have a security violation and you do have a
load-target issue. remove that "_parent": there's no 2nd parameter
in the loadMovie() method.
if you want to replace the main swf with that url, loading
into _root is fine. otherwise, you want to use a different
target.

Need help with pagination for book

I am working on a book and need help with the pagination. I was able to make the TOC and front matter show the numbers as Roman numerals, and the body of the text as Arabic numerals, but I can't figure out how to restart the numbering sequence for the body of the text. So the front matter is numbered i-xvi, and the text is 17-681. I need the text to start with the number 1. Each subsequent chapter is a section break as well, if that makes a difference.

Click on the page that shall start on number one. Open Inspector palette > Layout inspector (2nd tab) >
Section > Start at: > 1

You don't need to install the older version, you only need the serial number from your original purchase. If you don't have them to hand, did you register? If so, they should be in your Adobe account. If not you really need to contact Adobe, though it isn't clear they will be able to do anything without some proof of purchase etc.

If it's a debit card then I don't think that they are still accepted as a valid payment method - they are not listed on this page and there have been a number of posts recently about them being declined
If it is a credit card then is it registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, it was issued by a bank in your country and you are currently in that country ? You will need to store each digit of the social insurance number in a field of its own. To validate the entry you will:
1. Multiply the 2nd, 4th, 6th and 8th digit by 2.
2. If the product of any of the four multiplications result in a value greater than 9, add the two resulting digits together to yield a single-digit response. For example 6 * 2 = 12, so you would add the 1 and the 2 to get a result of 3.
3. Add these four calculated values together, along with the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th digits of the original number.
4. Subtract this sum from the next highest multiple of 10.
5. The difference should be equal to the 9th digit, which is considered the check digit.

1st digit 7
2nd digit (6*2 =12 1+2=) 3
3rd digit 5

I explained that Windows ME is not compatible, but you can get it work with a little messing around, and once again, here's a link on how to do it.
Guide to iPod and Windows ME.
As I said previously though, you won't be able to use iTunes.
