Need help with reader 11.0.5 can't print

I can open the file in reader but it just won't print. No error messages. Print screen comes up and when I click print it does nothing. Printer works for all other printing

I changed the setting you suggested, did a restart of Reader, and ... still cannot print. Same error messages.

I need help with uninstalling FP so I can install FP or some hemlock

I cannot get flash player to install, uninstall so that I can install, as all the instructions tell us to do. That insane crazy pop up that tells you to install FP, that you can only say no to so that it will go away is making me want to eat a bullet. I cannot take it much longer. I have no idea what to do. And, the crazy thing is that I did do something a couple weeks ago that made it all stop and then somehow it started again. Sux to fix something but not know what you did, so that you break it again. Anywho, I have tried everything from doing a manual install with the downloader, tried downloading an older vs, but I could not find one that was compatible with Vista, which is my operating system (32 bit). I did go to the hyperlink provided on another persons delimna and the site said that I have the most current vs of FP installed. But, it is not showing in my programs list nor is it in my files in my C drive, nor a trace of it in common files. It is not in regedit in local machine/software/adobe. I cannot find it, only the saved programs to uninstall or install it saved to desktop. Wait, I just rechecked my programs and features and it shows flashplayer 10 Actuve X and shockwave player 11.5, both of which are not found anywhere else in my computer. I am so weary of all of this. I just need help. Please, please please, It is horrible because you have to have fp to run certain programs, but it will not run and I do not know if this is a Adobe issue, Windows issue or a Vaio issue.

Hokay, I have Norton 360, it is run regularily, I also ran ESET this week, I use malwarebytes, pest patrol, registry repair. I took adaware and mcafee off my system as I was told that too many virus softwares conflict and can cause problems. I have had my email stolen, along with the book, it appears someone stripped my email and sold it to a spammer. It is not coming from my computer. Makes me very upset. I have turned this into the FBI cyber crimes site, AOL and Yahoo, since the link emails in the details are yahoo accounts. I get the spam emails as well. Ppl who click on the hyperlinks, some of them are getting viruses, but as I said, these are not being generated by me, but rather from the web. I hate these ppl. My system appears clean.
The pop ups are what everyone who is complaining about this issue are getting, I am assuming. I am seeing this complaint all over. Here is the information about the pop up:
It pops up with any navigation you try to do in IE....any. It will pop up ten times in a row during simple functions. Makes you insane. And the only way you can answer it is to click don't allow. End of story. over and over and over. If you research, web wide you are told to uninstall FP and then reinstall, and there are hyper links provided to do it with, and then you are told to try doing it manually with the Adobe downloader. NOTHING works. I am truly so upset, I cannot use my laptop, a storm surge ate my desktop and I am waiting on insurance to replace that the the iPad is limited. I have no idea which or what is the prob, IE, Adobe or Vaio, which is my make of computer. But, this is so ridiculous.

Need help with read/write to MODBUS RTU registers in Labview 8.0

I’m trying to write and read the registers in G3800xx016. controlling temperatures and lightning. Please look at the attached pdf file for this unit..
I have used Lookout for about three years, and it works fine.. Now I want to expand my system and try to use Labview 8.0
My temperature register start adress is 100 Hex (256 dec) I read from Register with Function code 03.
This register have values from 0-255 witch mean in labview for me as unsigned byte U8
I read my temperature from the register like this: eks.: 40257 lets say value=5
Slave    FC       Start Adress     Byte     Value               CRC
01        03        0100                02        0005                7847
This is the status received from the Modbus tester when I use null-modem connection..
I receive the same value if I use Modscan32
I have used null-modem cable to read out the values.
I have also PIR detectors that control movements and light of and on, and I read these starts at 40017.1
01   03     0010     02
The register to switch on and of heating and lights starts at 404097.1 FC16
Values mention here is read from Lookout 5.0
I have tried examples and read for weeks about this, but everything stops when I try to use Labview 8.0    I can’t read any values from my Master unit, neither write to it, or read any values in Modbus testers when I use null-modem cable.. I have tried different baud rates in my serial connection and it works perfect in Lookout, but Not Labview..
I have even bought DSC module, but I can’t write to either com ports or Modbus testers..
Please anybody… is there anybody that can give me help with this??
Start address for for PIR detectors is 40017.1 (FC03) and for writing bits for on of to light and heatsystem is 404097.1 (FC16)
I would be very happy for any idea that can give me some positive results… Look at the attached pdf file.

Yes, I have downloaded the NI Modbus drivers.. I have downloaded that one + a lot of other things about Modbus..
I have also tried communication between lokout and labview true null-modem cable.. and it works..
I have tried several Modbus examples and I communicate with most of them with null-modem cable.
I write to the right registers as well, cause I use Modbus scanner to read the information..
I have used the same settings for serial communication as my Master device use, bust still I can't get any response..
There was an error message in one of my example from the Modbus INIT module.. Maybe I should try to set up a new connection using VISA ??
Maybe the problem is to INIT my serial port? I have tried restarting my computer after closing my system.. But still, I have the same problem..
I hope you can give me any idea...
Thanks again.. by the way.. is it possible to write and read directly to serial port with the DSC module?? If so.. how??

You don't need an Event Structure, a simple State Machine would be more appropriate.
There are many examples of State Machines within this forum.

Need help with PHP mail script [was: Can someone please help me?]

I'm trying to collect data from a form and email it. I'm using form2mail.php and the problem is that the email is not collecting the form info and it has the same email address in the From: and To: lines. I'm really stuck and would appreciate any help.

Using PHP to process an online form and send the input by email is very simple. The mail() function takes a minimum of three arguments, namely: the address the mail is being sent to, the subject line, and the body of the email as a single string. The reason some people use scripts like form2mail.php is because they don't have the knowledge or patience to validate the user input to make sure it's safe to send.
Rather than attempt to trawl through your complex form looking for the problems, I would suggest starting with a couple of simple tests.
First of all, create a PHP page called mailtest.php containing the following script:

Save the script, upload it to your server, and load it into a browser. If you see "Mail is sent", you're in business. If not, it probably means that the hosting company insists on the fifth argument being supplied to mail(). This is your email address preceded by -f. Change the line of code that sends the mail to this:

Obviously, replace "[email protected]" with your own email address.
If this results in the mail being sent successfully, you will need to adapt the code in form2mail.php to accept the fifth parameter. You need to change the following line, which is a few lines from the end of the script:

Change it to this:

Need help with installing Symbol so student can graduate

After using OS X exclusively for the last 5 years, I now find that I need to use Framemaker on OS 9 in order to help a student of mine finish his thesis. I've installed Framemaker, but when I try to run it, it says it's missing the Symbol font, then quits. I have no idea why it's missing, and for the life of me, I can't remember how to install a font in OS 9.
Can anyone tell me where I can find an OS 9 compatible version of the Symbol font, and how to install it?

Hi, Gary, and welcome to Apple Discussions. Symbol is a standard font that's normally installed with OS 9. Many people don't use it, so it is often trashed. If you don't have access to a computer that is running OS 9 and has the font installed on it, you can extract a copy from the Installer Tome on any OS 9 installer CD using TomeViewer. Once you've done so, place it in the Fonts folder inside OS 9's System Folder, restart the Mac, and it should be available in the Fonts menu of all your OS 9 applications.

Need help with my iTunes-new computer-can't access my music

We just got a new computer and I transferred all of my songs from the old to the new and now when I try to access them in iTunes I get an error message that "it cannot be used because the original file cannot be located" Do I have to put in the DVD with all of the files on it in order to use any of my song? You haven't told us enough about what you did.
You need to explain exactly how you did your transfer.
If you don't care about your ratings and play counts and your really did copy your files across, there is a simple way of getting going again.
With iTunes closed drag iTunes Library.itl and iTunes Music Library.itl out of the iTunes folder to the desk top.
Start iTunes and you will have an empty library. Now simply add the folder with your music files in it - normally iTunes Music - to iTunes with File>Add folder to library.
If you didn't copy your files across, try putting the DVD in the drive and opening iTunes - can iTunes find your files now. If so it is a sign you added the files to your library without copying them to your internal HD.

Need help with reading RSS feed from SSIS

Hi all,
I am trying to read RSS feed from SSIS by using the Script Component. So far I am able to read some information from the RSS feed from the following items included in the code, Title, PublishDate, LastUpdateTime, Id and Summary.
There are still more item but I am unable to identify the proper data type for the following:

When I define the data for item.Content as Unicode String in the column properties for the Output column I get the following error message:
Error 1 Cannot implicitly convert type 'System.ServiceModel.Syndication.SyndicationContent' to 'string'
And the same error for the other three variables.
I am using HTTP Connection manager to read the xml link.
I tried to google around for some help but I could not find more information about the datatype.
I appreciate any help if someone can point me to the right solution for reading RSS feed from SSIS.

You need to make it running outside SSIS 1st. I just do not see why you need to publish it here at the moment.
And to solve it, doesn't C# has the
VAR datatype so you do not have to guess.

I need help with iPhoto slideshow. I can't "save" changes. Particularly the rotate feature. I rotate a photo 90 degrees... and the next time I play it...it's back to original. Sideways! Very frustrating.

Need Help with Windows 7 Certifications Manager - Can't log on easily

I have to do a complete restore of my 7 Windows Home Premium OS. I downloaded all of the drivers, got everything up and running, but now whenever I use Firefox, the only browser I utilize, I always get the pop-up caution box that states "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?" I looked at where the default was set for that message, and it is set according to Windows' recommendations. Even though I have good virus protection (the complete Avast version), I am not comfortable with the thought of disabling the feature completely.
I have no experience with certificates, but with the use of Windows Help, I was able to get to the program, but I found NO program with mozilla in the string.
I think the problem is with a certification, but I have never had this problem before and would very much appreciate any assistance!

I am not sure if there is any easier way, but I tried out the following tool available on the net to check an xml against a xsd:

There were a few issues, that I corrected and finally had a xsd and xml that were matching and valid. I tried this out in my file reading BPEL process, but the error still remained the same!

I even tried the option that is available in JDeveloper to generate a sample xml from a xsd (when in the context of a Transformation activity). The xml generated by this also seems exactly like the one above.
So, I am not able to figure out why my BPEL process errors out with the message Invalid xml document.

Okay, here's the scoop in two versions ...
The Short and Sweet:
I'm VERY new to Java programming, but before I dedicate a lot of time into my project, I need to know first if it is possible for a java.class applet (running in a browser, online) to read from a text file located on the (remote) server - ie: the same server and path as the java.class applet is located.
The Long and Confusing:
The primary objective is to recursively read from a constantly changing data/text file (generated by a php script), then "parse" that data into certain variables which in turn affect the (browser) output viewed by the visitor. A simplified example of this would be to capture x-y coordinates generated by a perpetually running php script (via a "shared" text file), then the applet would use this "read" data to constantly update the x-y positions of two (or more) graphical objects within the running applet.
Hope this makes sense. I'm not asking anybody to actually code this for me (though an example would be nice) ... I really just need to know if it can be done before delving into this somewhat paramount project. Thanks.

It is possible to use an Applet to read a file from the server, but you need to use a URL stream, not a file stream because of the Applet security constraints. Applet.getCodeBase() will return the URL of the directory where the Applet is. You can use the URL to create a URL to the file. Then read the new URL's InputStream.

I need help with a plugin. I can't get the quciktime import plugin. Has anyone noticed this.

I have noticed that the whole abilities to import quicktime plugin. After effects says its gone. I can't find any downloads. I am still on free trial. But why would I buy something in a store that isn't full. Tech support says they won't help. Who knows what to do.

Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details. Start by reinstalling the program and Quicktime. Otherwise the relevant stuff could simply be blocked by a firewall/ virus scanner or whatever and you need to make it behave...
