Need help with transfering songs to a dumb stupid ipod! I'm desperate!

I had an itunes account, but then I got another one on another computer for my same ipod b/c my other computer was too slow. Now the computer with my new itunes is gone. Now I'm trying to transfer my songs from my old ipod to my ipod and it won't let me. PLEASE HELP ME! PLEASE! I'M DESPERATE! I'm currently hovering the thin line between sanity... in insanity...

Can you be a bit more detailed? What errors do you get? What exact steps have you taken?

  • New computer...help with transfering songs!

I recently got a new computer, and before I realized how to transfer the music from one computer to the new one, my dad completely erased the old one. Now I have a new computer with no songs and an iPod with all my songs, and I just realized that in order to transfer the songs, i had to do something about the iTunes folder, or something like that. It's too late to do that, but is there any other way I can transer the songs to my new computer?
    Thanks for any help!

It would have been best to de-authorize your old computer prior to moving your iTunes library as seen HERE
However, their are programs available that will allow you to transfer your music FROM your iPod to your new computer and can be found at sights such as www.versiontracker.com. (Keyword iPod or iTunes)
You may, however, experience a problem playing all of your music (assuming all of your music is purchased due to DRM.

  • Help! Need help with transferring Ipod to new computer

After it took me forever just to figure out how to ask a question...eerr!
My old computer crashed and I need to move all my files, purchased, photos, and music that were imported. I know with the new Itunes you can transfer the purchased items, but will that erase everything else on my Ipod...ie: my photos and imported files?
I have downloaded a Ipod copier..but not really sure how to do this all. Any help from anyone would be so greatly appreciated.

    Check this site out www.findleydesigns.com
you can download whatever you need to recover all photos and music files from Ipod to mac.

  • Syncing bought songs problem from computer to ipod suffle 6th gen. Despartely need help., Syncing bought songs problem from computer to ipod suffle 6th gen.

Okay I have upload songs from my CD's as well. That along with bought idem's are not syncing with my iPod. I can deal without my songs from my CD's, but the some song I bought from the iTunes store seems really unreasonable. I would appreciate some help with this please.

Try playing the TV Show straight from your iTunes library. It will probably ask you for your iTMS login information. Punch it in, and everything should work fine.

  • NEED HELP WITH A QUESTION ABOUT PURCHASING A NEW IPOD AFTER GIVING MY OLD

IPOD TO MY SON. IT WAS FILLED WITH 3600 SONGS AND I STILL HAVE THOSE SONGS IN MY ITUNES LIBRARY. MY QUESTION IS CAN I BUY A NEW IPOD AND LOAD IT ON COMPUTER USING MY ITUNES LIBRARY--I MEAN WILL ITUNES AND MY COMPUTER RECOGNIZE THE NEW ONE. IF NOT, WHAT CAN I DO? JEFF

You should be fine, just make sure the new one has the current firmware, dock it to the computer, & away you go.
Please kill the "caps lock" key when posting, it's considered to be shouting & it's rude. Thanks.

  • I'm Dumb and Need Help with transferring music

Just got my ipod and I wanna tranfer all of music from my Windows Media Player to my Ipod. I used the Sync Option on my Media player to put my music on the Ipod.
Itunes says I only have 2.9gb on the Ipod so I assume it went to the Ipod, but all my Ipod has been doing for like the last 2 and a half hours is saying Do Not Disconnect. I put 57 hours of music on it, so is it just transferring all that music and is just gonna take a long time?
The Ipod is full charged and I am using the Idock.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Okay, see where it says (your name)'s Ipod in the source panel of iTunes? See that funny little arrow/line symbol beside it? CLICK THAT and it will eject your iPod. Sounds like it's done . . . maybe you have disk use enabled and will have to eject each time you're done updating...

  • I need help with transferring my itunes using my ipod

Hi, I wanted to move itunes to my new computer so backed everything on to my ipod (old 30GB video), did that part fine but now when I transfer to my new computer there is nothing in the itunes folder, and my ipod is still almost full with all the information I transferred, can anyone help? Is it becasue my old somputer was windows xp and this one is vista?
    Thanks

Open a Windows Explorer window so that it shows the iTunes folder that you dragged from the iPod to the computer (the one that is now on your computer). Run iTunes and select the Music LIBRARY in the sidebar. Drag the iTunes folder and drop it onto the iTunes windows (onto the main pane). iTunes should add the songs to the iTunes library.
However, you may want to review the article, because it should have worked without doing the above. Make sure you copied the iTunes folder to the correct location on the computer.

  • Need help with transferring phone files

So my girlfriend has an audio file on her phone (a Droid RAZR HD) and she needs to upload it to a computer for a class. Her computer is really bad and so she's using mine, a Mac. I downloaded the Backup Assistant program for Mac and when her phone is plugged in I can drag all the files she needs over to the local content but the transfers always fail. When I click on the transfer log it simply says they failed but it never gives any explanation as to why or how to fix it.
We've tried going bluetooth connection but I have an iPhone and whenever she searches for bluetooth devices my phone doesn't show up in hers and vice versa. I have plenty of space in my Verizon Cloud to transfer it there but her phone is on her parents plan so I can't really transfer her files to mine. It seems her phone is already linked with a Cloud account that isn't mine.
What can we do to resolve this issue? Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Have you tried Looking in here through Motorola's Help Pages,?  If not give this a Look.. b33

  • Need help with transferring from ipod mini to nano!

I own an iPod mini and just went and bought an iPod nano and am wondering how to transfer the music from my mini onto my nano. This may seem like a dumb question but I'm not finding a way in iTunes to do it. Thanks for help in advance

IPods are designed to transfer music in a one way fashion. Meaning, iPods can only have music transferred to them via iTunes, not vice versa. So, in your case, where the iPod mini has your music on its memory, you will be unable to transfer the actual music back to the computer. Hopefully, you have the music from the iPod mini stored on your computer or on some flash drive to be able to import the same music to the iPod nano. I am assuming that this is the case, your music being on iTunes, else other implications would have occurred in updating the iPod mini. Put simply, you need to have your music solely on iTunes and transfer from there to the iPod nano. Hopefully this helps.

  • Okay, need help with transferring from computer to computer...

I borrowed 5 movies from a friend so I could put them in the format for him to put on his iPod, since he couldn't figure it out, and he uses a Mac and I use Windows, I couldn't really help him out.
So I have them all coded right for him, but the problem is, I have 5 movies, and one or two of them are bigger than my 700mb CD's can hold!
Is there a way that I can put them on my iPod, bring my iPod to his computer, plug it in, and take them off my iPod and put them on his iTunes? Or is this just a dream I wish would come true?

Hmmm, well I know the below stuff works for songs, but could very well work on videos as well. Unfortunately I am not sure. But here are the links for your reading pleasure...

  • Need help with transferring iTunes library to different computer

My old iPod stopped working so I bought a new one.  For my older iPod I use a different computer but I want to use a different computer for my new iPod.  I have all my songs on an external hard drive and I want to use that for my other computer.  How do I keep the same library stats such as play count, last played, date added etc. on the new computer?  When I am looking through the iTunes files there are multiple library databases and I don't know which one contains all my stats data that I want to transfer over to the new computer.  Also, how do I transfer all my playlists to the other computer?  Thanks!

Copy the entire iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.
