Need help with troubleshooting VPN betwen Cisco 2911 and Dell Sonicwall 4060

Hello all,
I am trying to set up a VPN Tunnel between the devices mentioned above.  The tunnel appears to be established, but I've encountered some issues along the way.  I can ping from the Cisco 2911 to a server behind the Sonicwall, but I cannot ping from that server to the Cisco router unless the router is pinging the server at the same time.  What should I do to fix this problem?
UPDATE:  The tunnel is no longer working between the two devices.  The end result I am looking for is to have a VPN tunnel between these two devices which does NAT and allows me to ping across without having to constantly ping to keep the session open.  Before the tunnel went down, I was able to ping that server behind the sonicwall using a port on the inside of the firewall as a source port for the ping, and at one point I was able to ping back to the router from the server, but was unable to ping beyond that interface.  I think the problem that I am running into has to do with the zone-based firewall configurations that are already on the router.  I don't want to mess with those configurations already in place, but I am not sure how to get this tunnel working.  I'm fairly certain I need to start from the beginning in regards to this tunnel, but I cannot figure out how to configure this the right way.
Thanks in advance for any help

Finally the testing is successful on Sonicwall NSA 240 as well with Cisco ASA. Actually somehow Sonicwall firewall was discovering my VPN Box's Public leg (Private IP (10.10.50.10)) as well, which was behind a Live Peer IP (203.124.x.x). As per security policies it shouldnt have been discovered on the remote end. i will bring this in Cisco TAC notice.
Logs of Sonicwall were showing ASA local ike id as "203.124.x.x" & ASA Remote ike id "10.10.50.10".
Sonicwall sets these two parameters with PSK (local ike id & remote ike id). This is other than setting the Peer IP. i asked my client to add my ASA actual and NAT IP in these two parameters and the VPN got UP.

Need help with my iPhone 5 and my Macbook Pro.  I was purchased some music on itunes at my mac. Some reason I deleted those music from both on Mac and iPhone 5.  Today, I went to my iPhone iTunes store inside of iCloud to redownload my puchased. But those song won't able to sync back to my iTunes library on my Mac.  Can anyone help me with that ??....

You've posted to the iTunes Match forum, which your question does not appear to be related to. You'll get better support responses by posting to either the iTunes for Mac or iTunes for Windows forum. Which ever is more appropriate for your situation.

  • 100% Noob - Need Help for basic setup of Cisco 2504 and 1600 AP

    Hello,
I am completely noob in (cisco) networking.
I have to setup a basic but secure wireless network.
    I have a cisco 2504 and 2 APs 1600 + a random switch
I have 4 ports on the controller.
I want to keep the 1st port on the network for the controller management, plug my internet box on the 3rd port, and my switch on the 4th port. Then the AP will be on the switch.
I am able to make something working when everythings are plugged on the switch, plugged in the first port (default management port). But this is not what I want.
First thing, Is that possible ?
    1st port : office network
    2nd port : empty
    3rd port : Internet Box
    4th port : Switch + all APs
Then, if that is possible, how should i configure the controller to make that work ? I am completely lost in the menus.
I dont need a perfect configuration, just something simple and working.
1 SSID, 10 DHCP addresses, block wireless users trying  to go on the office network.
If anyone could help my doing that, It would be very nice.
    Thank you.

You basically need two SSIDs one for corporate users and second for guests .check the link with  step by step config and brief details .

  • Need help with Soundblaster Live! 5.1 and King Theatre 5.1 speake

    Hi,
First time ost and need some help.
Ok i bought a nice Soundblaster Li've! 5. sound card around a month ago. 2 days ago i bought myself som speakers "Kingtheatre 5." I doubt it any of you have ever heard of this brand, i bought speakers from local shop. Ok this is where the problems start. When i try to connect the speakers i can only ever get 4 out of 5 satelites to work and the subwoofer. If i change the wiring around, i will only ever have 4 speakers working at a time. Can anyone help me with the connecting. In the back of the subwoofer i have 3 cables, one says "Centre/subwoofer" the other says "Input | surround L/R" with the word Input on the side of it, and the last one says "Front L/R(Stereo)". At the back of my soundcard i have the following colour plug ins (sorry im only 4, im not used to technical terms) Ok from left to right black, green, pink(mic),blue and a orange/brownie colour. Can anyone help with the pluging it part.
Cheers, sorry about the long post.

    Dooda,
If you can post a link for the layout diagram of your speaker system then it will be great.
From your description, you could try this. Connect the audio cable from subwoofer "Front L/R(Stereo)" to Green jack on the sound card, "Input | surround L/R" to the Black jack and "Centre/subwoofer" to the Orange jack on the sound card.
Do a speaker test via the Creative Surround Mixer application.

  • Need help with pictures on an external HDD and windows labtop to Ipad3

    Hallo everybody!
This week (I finally) bought an Ipad 3 and an Apple TV!
For the time being I still have a windows labtop and an external HDD full with photo's.
The ICloud software for windows has been installed because I would like to stream the pictures from this external HDD to my Ipad and then ofcourse on my flatscreen TV (via Apple TV). And ofcourse back, when I have taken a photo or a movie on the Ipad 3.
I would appreciate some help with the following questions:
do I have add all pictures from the HDD into a new map on the windows labtop. So that via Icloud the contain could become 'in the cloud'.
or do I have to add all the pictures from the HDD into the Itunes map on the windows labtop.
I have connected the Ipad to the windows labtop and via Itunes I have synchroniced a lot of pictures to the Ipad. I asume these are copies? And is it possible to remove them from the Ipad, because it will take a lot of memory (currently already 35 GB from the 64 GB).
Well I hope somebody could help me.
    Many thanks in advance!
    Ronald from the Netherland

I just found out that ICloud isen't really a storage place for photo's. Just a passing throw station to your other devices.

  • Need help with moving items betwen 2 netui select boxes

    Hi,
I have 2 multiple select boxes for possible courses and assigned courses. I need a way to implement move of option items from one box to another using buttons. The user can select courses from one box and move them to another. I am not sure how I would do that with netui select boxes and a pageflow method. If I use javascript, i get all kinds of errors even though I am trying to use the tagid. If validation fails, then the select boxes dont save the updated content.
    Please help.

  • Need help with iPhone VPN non-ASA

I am a network hobbiest. I am trying to set up my home router so my family can VPN to the house with our iphnones and ipads. I have tried to figure this out several times on my own and and for some reason I can not get the policies to match.
At this point I am looking to start from scratch as my current config is pretty sloppy from trying many different methods.
    Here is my setup
    [cable modem] <==> [c1841] <==> [8 port switch]
Cisco IOS Software, 1841 Software (C1841-ADVSECURITYK9-M), Version 15.1(4)M, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
So I am using NAT, and I do want to have 3-4 external devices able to conect to the VPN and without a static IP on the roaming end. The 1841 does have a static IP.
I am looking for the method that will work best in this setup.
    Thanks.
    Bryan

Ok, I have set my mac up to connect to the VPN using straight cisco ipsec in my system prefs.
This is a small section of the debug log from the 1841.

  • PC Crash, Need help with troubleshooting PLEASE!!!

Basically I built my current system about 7 months ago. No issues ran like a speed demon. Today I went to restart the pc and after the POST, I get the Windows loading page(Win 7 64-bit) error page windows failed to load. So I decided to reformat the drive and start with a fresh copy.
Next after loading mobo drivers for my MSI P67-GD55 (B3) which has the latest bios and drivers, I restarted the pc, and right after POST I get a BSOD for a split second and then straight to the Windows failed to load page.
Went into my bios and ran mem test, ALL OK.
Checked all cables for good connections to my SSD and all other drives, all good. Any thoughts yall?

Random reboots and lockups may point to a few things.
    1) CPU socket wires. Look out for bent / broken wires on the grid.
    2) Overheating. Though watercooled but chances are still there if the contacts are not screwed in properly.
    3) Faulty PSU. This one will leads more to random restarts.
    4) Faulty board.
    5) Faulty RAMs. BSODs in most cases.
1.) Overheating definitely not a problem. ALL contacts A OK. Room temp never exceeds 70 degrees. I only have a mild overclock going on it, with awesome airflow in the case. I have a pushpull setup on my radiator.
2.) RAM has been tested several times by different programs, ALL PASSED.
    3.) Power supply test OK.
4.) CPU socket wires? Not following kind of a semi noob. I built this thing over 7 months ago and never a hickup, now this issue has started.
5.) At this point with the mobo still being under warranty, I would at the very least like to send it to MSI and have it tested FULLY.
For the last couple of days it has now been running OK, the only issue is with reboots. When I reboot the PC sometimes it boot loops.
Seeing as I am now thinking about selling the parts off, as I am no longer needing or using the PC I built, I would not feel comfortable selling off the parts off unless I was positive that the mobo was in perfect working order. Turns out I built this pc for ripping my entire DVD/BluRay library which is done, and gaming which I seem to not really be interested in anymore.  I don't find myself really using the desktop I built anymore. Hopefully I can sell it off part by part and buy a laptop which I will be able to get more use out of.
So I would at least want to make sure the motherboard was OK before selling it. Might as well do it under warranty.
Anyone familiar with the MSI warranty RMA process?

  • Need Help with 5 Port Switch, Airport Express, and wired iMac

I recently purchased an airport express to accomodate my laptop's wireless capabilities. However, the airport express has only one ethernet port, as does my parents' modem. Thus, I could either hook up the airport or my parent's iMac. I chose the airport, which resulted in a few weeks worth of fights. To alleviate the problem, I purchased a linksys 5 port group switch, after someone told me I could use that to hook up both at the same time. Initially, the iMac wouldn't work. It registered what I was told was an invalid IP address. Then a cable technician came by, reset the modem (unplugged the battery), and now the airport does not work; it flashes yellow and says that it cannot detect the ethernet signal.
The iMac is running OSX 10.3 and the laptop OSX 10.4.  I am not sure if the modem can only accomodate one IP address or if there is any way to share IP addresses. Do I need to change something with the DHCP on my laptop? Do I need to manually enter an IP? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm completely lost....and without wireless internet.

Instead of a switch you need a wireless router, because your modem will only assign one public ip address to the switch and that ip address will be forwarded to any one computer at a given time...You should replace the switch with a wireless router and it should resolve your concern...

  • Need help with table, xml files, click actions and visibility

    Hi.
I am new to adobe livecycle and I need some guidance in a problem that I am facing.
I have an XML. The main tag 'employee' has 4 tags in it, name, age, ph# and address.
Address tag has 6 more tags in it.
I have to create a table which has 4 columns initially (all text fields). The rows are populated acccording to the XML.
    1. S. No., which increments according to row number.
    2. Name from XML.
    3. Age from XML.
    4. ph# from XML.
When any S. No. is clicked on, it should display the address details below that row, when it is clicked on again, it should hide those details and the original table view should be restored.
I googled a lot but am still not able to get how to do this.
    Please help.

I created a sample for you with what I think you want. Here is a file and the associated XML that goes with it.

The problem I see is wrong url for jDriver.
    you have to say: jdbc:weblogic:oracle
In properties what you need is:
    user=
    password=
    server=
Actually, your connetion pool is not created yet. It has problems. Make sure you create connectionpool successfully
    first.
    Thanks,
    Mitesh

    Hi
My Ipod is down! I've tried to go on the apple website to help me fix the problem but I think im not getting any progress.
when i open my ipod, all i see is the little ipod with x's in its eyes ..."sad ipod" and..
Whenever i connect the ipod to compt with the USB all i see is the battery sign with the thunder...ive tried waiting but no luck...
I tried to reset it but its not working.
I cant restore or update bc the updater wouldnt work
When i go to itunes it would say no ipod connected but yet the ipod is on with the batery and thunder.. I know it has battery but why is it not working
I tried it on another compt and still not working
do u think its the usb?
    Please help
    thanks
    much love !!
    edit....
whoops i realized its in the wrong topic
SORRY and i dont know how to move it SORRY
      Windows XP

So wouldyou recommend that I update? It was made for use with an att sim but was unlocked for use with a tmobile sim... I just so happen to have att. So the phone being locked for att wouldn't be a bother for me. I've just heard of people getting sim card read errors after updating, so I was wondering if I should even bother.
