Need help with uploading photos from PSE 12 to Revel

When I first logged into Revel from my new Photoshop 12 I selected the option to have me select which photos would be uploaded to Revel.  That turned out to be a huge mistake.  All I want to do is upload my current catelogue with the albums intact to Revel for Cloud protection.  I have been working for two days to work around this and have had numerous problems.  I can't get my albums to get uploaded without creating a new album in revel and then downloading from there.  However, it appears that some albums have been authotmatically uploaded and I have thousands of pictures scattered, since most of them were scanned at different times and then organized into albums over the course of the past year.  Can anyone help me with this.  I was told that buying Adobe Photoshop 12 should make it very easy to put my photos in a cloud with the albums intact.  PLEASE help.

Are you just trying to set up all of your elements albums as mobile albums?

Can anyone help with uploading photos fom iPad to Facebook?  Thanks

What app are you to trying to use ? You can't upload photos to Facebook via Safari, but a number of the Facebook apps support it e.g. the 'official' app : http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/facebook/id284882215?mt=8 (thought it's optimised for the iPhone/iPod Touch it does support uploading photos), Friendly For Facebook (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/friendly-for-facebook/id400169658?mt=8)

  • HELP - Need help with recovering photos from iCloud

This may be a simple question, but I've never had to do it before, so I am asking.
I have an iPhone 4S.  It was backed up to iCloud yesterday before I had to swap my cracked screen phone for a new phone.  How do I recover photos that were backed up yesterday?  I am sure it is a couple easy steps, but can someone let me know what those might be to restore my phone from iCloud's backup yesterday?

Photos and videos from your camera roll are backed up to iCloud when you do an iCloud backup.
This article tells you how to restore an iCloud backup:

    Freezing, or crashing?
ID on the Mac can produce reports that may (or may not) prove helpful in diagnosing the problem. I suspect this is something not directly related to InDesign, and maybe not to any of the Adobe apps directly since you seem to be having a problem in more than one. That often inidcates a problem at the system level.
Nevertheless, it won't hurt to try to gather the reports. You'll find driections for how to generate them, and to post them on Pastebin.com (then put a link to them here) so we can see what's going on at Adobe Forums: InDesign CS5.5 Not Responding
Do you happen to run a font manager? If so, which one, and waht version?

  • Help with uploading photos to iPod from multiple computers

I uploaded photos from my computer at home quite easily. Then I plugged my iPod into my computer at work, went to the Photos tab in iTunes, and asked it to sync photos from My Photos on my computer. It proceeded to delete all the photos I had uploaded from home. How can I prevent it from deleting photos previously on the iPod?
    Thanks.

You can't load photos from multiple computers. There's no manual mode for photos, just different ways to sync. Syncing on a different computer will erase what's there. You can read a bit more here: iTunes and iPod: Frequently asked questions (FAQ) about Photo Sync

    Hi Kathy1963-1964,
    Welcome to Adobe Forum,
You have photoshop elements 12, you can try downloading without the akamei downloader .
    http://prodesigntools.com/photoshop-elements-12-direct-download-links-premiere.html
Please read the " very important instruction" prior to downoload.
I would request you to disable the firewall & the antivirus prior to download.
Let us know if it worked.

  • How to upload photos from elements 9 to Revel

How to upload photos from elements 9 to Revel

There is no direct link from PSE 9 to revel the way there was to photoshop.com. Revel didn't exist when PSE 9 was written and there's nothing in PSE 9 that can understand or connect with Revel. You are not going to be able to do everything you could do with photoshop.com, like keep your catalog synced. You use a web browser and find your photos to share exactly the same way you would if they were not in the organizer at all.

  • NEED ASAP HELP WITH TRANSFERRING PHOTOS FROM SMART CARD TO IPHOTO 09

I have several SD's (512 mg - 2 gig) that have important photos which need to be transferred from the card to my MAC Pro. Problem is that I cannot find my usb cable that came with my camera so must take straight from card. When I tried to put the first card into the SD drive, the card got stuck and I had to spend hours getting it out with a pair of tweezers. I've never had so much trouble inserting a card into my computer and transferring the photos onto my computer. I need HELP QUICKLY!!! AM TRYING TO SELL BDRM FURNITURE ON CRAIGS LIST BEFORE NEXT FRIDAY & HAVE SOME NEAT PICS TO ACCOMPANY AD. THANKS SO MUCH!!! This has taken me ALL weekend!!!

I suggest you get a card reader and use it to upload from the card to a folder on the desktop and then into iPhoto. I got mine at WalMart for $10.

  • Help with importing photos from camera if some pics were imported earlier

I am trying to import photos from my digital camera into iphoto and there are some old photos on my camera already. When the prompt screen tells me that there is a repeat photo, I clicked on do not import it for all such photos option. After that the screen tells me that the photos are being imported, but nothing happens. I am very furstrated, is there anything I can do? I have iphoto 6 version. Thanks!

I believe with iPhoto 6 if you upload the photos to a folder first and then import that folder into iPhoto 6 you will be given the opportunity to exclude duplicates. The import has to be from the Finder and not directly from the camera. You can test that by importing a single photo that is already in the library from the Desktop. If I'm wrong this post will self destruct 10 seconds after and all here will disavow any knowledge of me.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.≤br>
Note: There now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

  • Need help with scanned photo....

I scanned a photo into iphoto'11 using a new fujitsu scansnap s1500m.  Once I saved it, I changed the extension from .pdf to .jpg by going to "get info."  I then imported it into iphoto and I can see the thumbnail -- but when I click on the thumbnail I get a black screen.  I am using a MacBook Pro OS X 10.6.8 if that helps.  Can anyone tell me what did i do wrong?
I am a senior who is not very tech savvy, but I try.  I have scanned a total of two photos, but can only launch one of them in iphoto.  I have compared the three using "get info" but can't see a difference.  An old lady needs help......

You should also be able to set the scan type to JPG in, I'm assuming, there's an online preference window for your scanner.  It may be set to PDF as a default in the scanner.
Here's a Link to a Windows Help page on setting preferences:
    http://scansnapcommunity.com/tips-tricks/1927-how-to-scan-to-jpeg-with-scansnap/
You should be able to do similar things with your Mac.

    1) Have you looked up the symbian error -36 on new-lc?
    2) Have you tried the example in the response on forum nokia?
    3) Is the address "121.97.220.162:8084" accessible from the internet, on the device, on the specified port?

  • Need help with uploading web gallery

When I try to upload a gallery, I recieve the following error message: An error occured sending the file: a response was not received in time.
    How do I correct this?

Find the exported gallery on the hard drive, and open the index file in a web browser. If that works correctly, then yes, it's a problem that you'll need to discuss with your web host, rather than a Lightroom problem that we can help with, sorry.
