Swamped with work, from home and need to get wife on her own bookkeeping computer. (I apologize I have no time to research on my own)
1 - I have a G5 (with no airport card, I'll have to get one)
2 - I want her to have a Mini
3 - Want the wireless connection (Airport)
4 - She will grab Quickbooks files over the network (from mine) - and she and kids will surf and play games (little stuff - not graphics intensive, oldest is 9)
I don't understand what I need in an Airport base station.
She will need to print to my printer. And I would like the iTunes option to patch into a home stereo.
Do I have to have both base stations?
I think that is the only question. Please make suggestions or ask questions.

Problem with Syncing 48000 hz Camera audio with 44100 hz lapel audio? Need help any suggestions?

I recently did a project and recorded my video with 48000 hz and then on accidentally recorded my lapel mic audio with 44100 hz. I now need to sync the two together but seems impossible? What should I do?
I have tried to convert the audio in audacity to 48000 but this has not helped why is the audio out of sync and how do I fix this?

I've been following sound gear threads on a couple other forums recently, and something that's come up quite a bit is the varying speeds of sound recorders. Some are VERY accurate, many are semi-accurate, and some just plain suck. It tends to be a you-get-what-you-paid-for situation but some cheap v-r's record dead on the same as the camera's vid footage and a few pricier ones drift enough over say a 5 minute interview that they need to consistently have their output time-adjusted. One I was reading involved a $300+ sound recorder, that simply needed to have a multiplier of 1.075 or something like that applied to everything out of it. The commenter takes all files from it, drops them in Audition, applies his standard time mod, and then exports that out and into PrPro. Then it syncs perfectly.
As long as a recorder does the exact same pace all the time, one can adjust. It's when a recorder varies the speed slightly moment by moment that makes it really unusable ... constantly but barely sliding in and out of sync. Yuck.

Water damage, need help, or suggestions.

Yeah, I was stupid enough not to check my jean pockets before throwing them in the washing machine. Now it's water damaged, and there's some water in the screen.
Is there a way I can revive it? My friends have had the same kind of damage, and they said that they had left their ipod collecting dust for a month or two before it started working again. Does it need to dry? Can I pry it open and make it dry faster? Is there a way I can send it in to get it checked out or replaced?
One more thing, I attpemted to pry it open, knowing that there are 3 metal pins on each side of the ipod instead of the dock end, is there a guide out there or video that can help me do this if I have to resort to this? I'm honestly trying to make this thing work, because I don't have enough money to buy another one. And I wont for a long while, considering that I'm turning 16 in a couple of weeks,and I'm looking for a job.

I shouldn't start trying to open it up - they're not designed for that and you might have a lot of difficulty getting it together again.
If you leave it for long enough in a warm-ish environment there is a fighting chance it will dry out and be OK. I should give it at least a week. I shouldn't take a hair-dryer to it

I am new to SAP SSM , having litle exprience to BASIS and HR.
I have installed SAP SSM as per installation guide
1. NWCE7.1 EHP /WIndows/MAxdb
2. Imported application strategy management into NWCE
3. installed SSM application server and InteractivePublisher on same host.
4. imported bootstrap and import.zip through ../strategy/tools utility.
5. set required parameters in NWCE application strategymanagement.
Now I have to build a samll scenarion for my management to show them SSM ( sayinhouse pilot project , proffing).
I tried to copy context from avaialable context efashion (database pwsample) and when I was trying to create model connection
application server was not conmming although connection is succfful but unable to save.
If any one can provide me 1 KPI development from scratch will be really thankful to him.
I am planning to upload data through text file , not from source database( backend) or BOBJ enterprize as source.

As per my understanding of your question , I think ,you want to create a new model from the scratch and load data from a text file.
If this is the scenario , you can do the following steps :
1.) Login into the PAS(Pilot Application Server) as the administrator and create a new dimension model.
2.) Create the dimensions and measures in the model.
3.) Create a Link ID to connect to the text file.
4.) Write a simlpe load procedure to load the data from the file into the model
5.) Go to the administrator user inteface and create a new model connection which points to the dimensional model created
6.) Create a new context
7.) Go to the Set Scorecard defaults link and set the model connection
8.) Go to the Set KPIs link and create the required KPI.
This is not a step by step solution , but a picture of the overall steps required. In case this is not the scenario required , please let me know.

BB Desktop Manager no longer works with Mac Maverick - Need Help Urgently

I have been a loyal Blackberry user since the Government of Canada officially began using these cell phones. I feel, however, abandoned by Blackberry (they obviously don't believe that it is easier to retain an existing customer than acquire a new one). I'm using a Blackberry Bold (9900) with a Macbook Pro. Everything was fine until I upgraded my Mac operating system to Maverick; my Blackberry Desktop Manager no longer works, so I cannot sync the content (contacts, calendar) of my phone with my Mac, but that's not the worst of it.
I recently had a momentary lapse and exceeded the 10 password attempts to access my phone... this accidentally wiped my phone clean... and because Desktop Manager does not work with Mac, I do not have a way to recover my data. Rogers was of no help and had Blackberry updated its desktop software months ago, as it should have, this issue would have been moot. I do not know how or why, but I was able to recover most of my data, but I'm not sure just how up-to-date tha data is and am still going through it, but I'm having issues with some functionality.
I'm in the US for several months and have suspended my Canadian services. Prior to the wipe, I was able to use wifi on my phone to send and receive emails with no problem. After the wipe, I can't send emails or bbms. I checked my blackberry internet service and all email accounts are good to go. BBMs are another issue. I need help. Suggestions please.

Apple has ceased synchronization with Mavericks. The issue lies with Apple, not with the desktop software. To mitigate the lack of sync capabilities in Mavericks you can sync your contacts and calender on your Mac with the usual suspects (Yahoo, Google). Create a backup (archive) for Contacts and Calender on your Mac first, then create one of those email accouonts that allow syncing. On your 9900 and with BlackBerry provisioning enabled create the new or existing email account. See which email accounts can sync with BB, I know Yahoo is working fine. For Yahoo, get the Yahoo Calender sync (a few bucks one-off payment required), Contacts sync works off the shelf within BB. If you reset the 9900 you should be able to restore all data with BB DTM. Please note that emails you received during the 9900 reset and the date of restore will not be available on the device. You will still not be able to sync contacts/calender over BB DTM. I hope that helps.

In above crosstab report dates are one of the dimension with other dimensions.
Now In my scenarion for date1 and date2 i have same dim1, dim2 and dim 3 so it showing me dingle row instead of 2 rows due to that Meas1 and Meas2 are sum up and as 14 and 12 but i need to display Meas1 as (Meas1 where Date=date2) and Meas2 as (Meas2 where date=date2) so instead of summing of 2 rows it should display only data for that date.
If i move meas1 and 2 along with meas3 and 4 it fine but if remove from their and place on left side or dimension it sum up.
If anyone has any idea please help me on this.

I have been unable to create a database connection in dreamweaver to my MySql
server. Each time I receive the message "an unidentified error has occurred".
I can use pure php code to create a connection successfully:

Hello I am new to Prremier Pro and need help creating a short time-lapse video. I have a Sony CyberShot TSC-70 and a Canon ZR930 to capture images and video but none do time-lapse automatically (I think). I also have Premier Elements 9 and Photoshop CS5 if needed.

Nice to know Elements has that function! I don't have elements, and did a one hour into 15 seconds timelapse in Premiere by importing my one hour clip into the timeline, then using the time tool within the effects panel to speed the file up by 1000% (maximum allowable in a timeline, apparently...) Then I nested that sped up sequence within a new sequence, and did it again... I think I had to do it twice, but I got a nice 15 second sunset timelapse out of a one-hour shoot by using that route.

32GB itouch is zooming in at random times, need help!

I just got an itouch for my birthday four days ago and was browsing and playing an application while the itouch was charging and randomly, it zoomed into the screen. I thought it was no big deal and when I tried to get it not to zoom, it wouldn't let up. I looked at the troubleshooting and nothing seems to be helping, the only time when it isn't zoomed is when I click on an app. and just for one second it zooms out then it goes right back in. this is getting really frustrating and I need help, any suggestions?

Double-tap the screen with 3 fingers to toggle zoom off and on.
To disable the screen zoom, go to Settings->Accessibility->Zoom and switch it off.
