I think you will get the SAP Console preinstalled with the SAP GUI Installation you can find it in Control Panel with the name SAPConsole Administrator. This communicates with SAP using some Telnet server and there are lot of telnet servers available in the market.
Some Useful Information for SAP Console and Telnet Server:
SAP Console Framework which enables users to execute R/3 transactions from Character based device including RF devices.
SAP Console consists of following three main components
1. SAP Console Software / Interface component
2. SAP Console Administrator Defining properties of SAP console
3. SAP Console I/O Engine I/O engine through which SAP console and User interact
Installation of SAP Console is a part of SAP GUI installation
Telnet server installation on the same machine in which SAP console is installed.
Standard Telnet server are
1.Slnet From Seattle Labs
2.GS_Tnet from Georgia Soft works
But any Telnet Sever application can be used which supports VT220 emulation.
Telnet Client is the Interface which is used to execute transactions. Ex. RF device
2) It comes preloaded with SAP GUI so need not worry about installation.
3) Yeah Packing process is supported in RF and you can get the couple of transactions related to RF and they start with LM*
For the rest you have transaction codes available like for example LM74, LM47, etc or else best thing is you use LM00 which is the starting transation code for your RF related activities.
Or else search for LM* in TSTC table.
Most corporations who implement an ERP system are confronted with the issue of how to simplify and streamline the logistics process utilizing radio frequency (RF) technology. For SAP R/3® users in particular, this issue has always been addressed by selecting and implementing a 3rd party RF Middleware system. Since SAP did not offer any type of RF solution, this became the only choice. In the latter part of 1999, SAP quietly introduced a product named SAPConsole to finally address the issue of supporting character-based RF devices from SAP R/3. The question that now needs to be answered is, What is SAPConsole and will it work for my application.
This guide will clear up the mystery about SAPConsole and describe the benefits and limitations when evaluating an SAPConsole Approach to RF Data Collection.
For RF SAPConsole to work companies will need, along with the SAPConsole implementation, to also implement a WLAN network using the appropriate technology, frequency, compatibility and so on. The SAPConsole consultant should be able to provide advice on this.
History of SAP Console
Several years ago SAP partnered and subsequently purchased OFEK-tech, an Israeli company specializing in Warehouse Management and Control. As SAP OFEK-tech, one of the main objectives of this new partnership was to develop native support for radio frequency (RF) devices for the SAP R/3 Warehouse Management Module.
Parallel to the OFEK-tech effort, SAP initiated a new more comprehensive Warehouse Management systems strategy starting with R/3 version 4.5 known collectively as the Logistics Execution System (LES). LES integrates the applications of Warehouse Management, Shipping and Transportation, and can operate in an integrated mode similar to all the other modules (MM, PP, etc.) or as a stand-alone system (Decentralized WM).
These two initiatives finally came together starting with LES in version 4.6B. The new RF solution for LES offers several new Mobile Data Entry transactions specifically designed for RF users and the supporting operations. This whole suite of functionality including business transactions, configuration, and RF device support is sometimes mistakenly referred to as SAPConsole, since it was first released with version 4.6B. Technically, it is more correct to call this RF solution the SAPConsole Approach.

How can I add document-internal links in Pages 5?

I have a number of very large dicttionary documents (300+ pages) all of which have internal links. The internal links allow you to jump from one letter to another, so that, for example, if you're looking at words that begin with S, you can go to the A-Z letterboard at the beginning and end of the S section and immediately jump to any other section. I've also got links in the middle of the document leading to parts in the front matter (so, for example, a mention of the word "relative clause" will be linked to a section in the grammar discussing relative clauses). The nice thing is that these links would remain active when exported to .pdf, so when I shared them with others, the internal links continued to function. Each document has hundreds of these internal links. All of them appear to have been broken by the new version of Pages.
Is there a way to create document internal links like the ones I used to use for Pages '09, or has this functionality been forever removed from Pages? If the latter, who do I scream at?

Bookmarks have been removed along with 100 other features.
You could post at Menu > Pages > Provide Pages Feedback but that is pointless in my experience
Instead rate/review Pages 5 in the App Store where everyone can see it. In our local App Store, Pages 5.1 is back down to 2 stars with again 61% of users saying they hate it.
Pages '09 should be in your Applications/iWork folder, use that instead.

Field 'Goods Receipt / Performance of Service' in 'Related Documents' Tab of PO Item in SRM

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement where I need to make 'Goods Receipt / Performance of Service' in 'Related Documents' Tab as non-editable based on certain fields on the PO Item.
On searching SDN, I found that this can be done via SPRO in the below path SPRO->SRM Server->Cross application basic settings->Extension and field Control -> Configure field control -> configure control for fields at item level.
But here in this I am finding difficulty on using the Dyn. Customer Class and method.
Please help us on how to find the relevant standard CLass and Method.
I am new to SRM Programming.
Appreciate your inputs on this.

have a look at SPRO:
SAP Implementation Guide > SAP Supplier Relationship Management > SRM Server > Cross-Application Basic Settings > Extensions and Field Control (Personalization) > Configure Field Control > Display Standard Metadata Tables for Item Fields > Display Delivered Metadata Table for Item Fields.
Here, for object type BUS2201, you can see standard dynamic control class name is /SAPSRM/CL_PDO_DYN_MDF_IT_PO.
You need to do your own field control configuration using specific class and method based on the standard one seen above.
Then, assign this class/method:
SAP Implementation Guide > SAP Supplier Relationship Management > SRM Server > Cross-Application Basic Settings > Extensions and Field Control (Personalization) > Configure Field Control > Configure Control for Fields on Item Level > Metadata for Fields on Item Level.

I need vbeln(sales document no),vbeln1 (subsequent sd doc) in alv report.

I am using below structure for sd alv reports.

        BEGIN OF st_vbfa,
          vbelv TYPE vbfa-vbelv,
          vbeln1 TYPE vbfa-vbeln,

       BEGIN OF st_final,
         vbeln TYPE vbak-vbeln,
         erdat TYPE vbak-erdat,
         vbelv TYPE vbfa-vbelv,
         vbeln1 TYPE vbfa-vbeln,
        END OF st_final.
i need vbeln(sales document no), erdat, vbeln1 (subsequent sd doc) in report output..
i.e. By comparing vbeln -vbak and vbelv-vbfa ,it should show the result.
i need select and loop statemnt...

Confirmation is not updating in SC Related Document - Standalone scenario

Dear Friends
I have a scenario
1 - Limit SC created with 3 line item
2 - PO has been created
3 - Created 5 times partial confirmation for line 1 , then created 5 times partial confirmation for line 2, then created 5 times partial confirmation for line 3.
4 - All 15 confirmation is visible in Tracking of Purchase Order
5 - But when i open SC first line item --> Detail ..> Related document , i can only see 2 confirmation out of 5 which was created for line 1.
Please advice.

Couple of checks,
Pls check Assignment of costing sheet in costing variants.
Also check KP26. U assign the activity price or not? Use t.code:KP06 and link the cost centre with the activity.
Check whether you have assigned the costing variants in the controlling tab in the order dependent parameters (OPL8).
Check the valuation variant in OPN2 and OPL1 should be assigned to plant shop floor control.
Go to KOB1 and check result there there?

The physical documents such as pdf, word documents etc.. are available in filenet/P8.
These documents need to get fetched & displayed in SAP.
For a prticular document id, all the related documents need to get displayed...

Copy WBS, MIRO, MIGO element to respective Document Object Link....

Hi Experts,
I need to link/copy the WBS element Document number from CJ12 to the Document Object Link (while creating a Document Number from the cj12 screen).
I have checked BADI's and exists but i couldnt find the exact point to capture the WBS Element and add the same into the DRAD Table.
In the same fashion i need to capture the MIGO and the MIRO Document Number and put it in the respective Document Object link tab. MIGO and MIRO DMS screens are custom Designed.
I have tried adding the code in the BADI - DOCUMENT_MAIN01, but am not able to capture the WBS, MIGO, MIRO Documents.
Pls provide a solution if your time permits, Thanks in Advance.

In DC10 define document type and assign sap object links . To make fields as mandatory its an risky in DMS customization it will effect on other sap object links like BOM item,BOM header. why beacuse for an BOM item you cannot assign values directly on CV02N.So that you need to create DIR first and than assign BOM item from user t-code .

I am building a webcenter portal , I have a requirement to implement related documents panel or section in most of the pages , which will list all related documents.So i would like to know if there is any out of the box components in webcenter to implement the same or which would be the best approach to implement the same.The documents are all stored in UCM.

WebCenter Content has a component called RelatedLinks (now, part of Records Management) that you could use. There is a 10g manual that describes this component quite well: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E10316_01/cs/cs_doc_10/documentation/integrator/admin_related_content_10en.pdf
You could, however, also use Links in WebCenter Portal - see http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/webcenter.1111/e10149/links.htm#BEHGCHGG In fact, you might be good to go with the OOTB functionality.
