Need information on how to create Idoc Inbound Interfaces for Business Sys

Hi,
I'm losing it.
Can anyone point me to some documentation or an example of how to create inbound interfaces for Business Systems in PI 7.1.
Here's the scenario
I'm working on a B2B integration process which sends inbound idocs to an ECC 6.0 system.
I've created the Business System communication component  but under the Inbound Interfaces it is blank.
I want to have MBGMCR.MGBMCR03 as an inbound interface.
But I forget how to get it there.
For Business components you can just add the inbound interface.
I've already defined the Business System in the SLD pointed it to the correct Tech System, imported the idoc definitions in the Enterprise Service Builder and set up IDX1, IDX2 to ensure the metadata exists in PI.
But for Business systems the hep says that it's got to come from the SLD.
Outbound/Inbound Interfaces
For each business system, the interfaces that are installed on the business system are also entered in the SLD. These interfaces are displayed in this frame. You cannot add any other interfaces.
I know I've done this before, but I can't remember how.
Cheers,
John

    - a HU managed warehouse (without WM), society B;
    - a purchasing process of HU from society A towards society B.
Society B have a scheduling agreement; when a delivery schedule appears, in society A born a sales order and a delivery. After the registration of the delivery good issue, an idoc transfer information for inbound delivery creation.
This process is ok without WM, but with a WM managed warehouse the idoc has the following problem:

  • Need to know how to create 'contours' around artwork for printing?

    Hello Friends,
First, let it be known that I am new to InDesign.
Actually, this will be the first time I will be using it!
I created a logo in Photoshop, for a friend to take to the printers which would be transferred to a plastic sticker.
The person at the printers told my friend that he would need to have contours in the artwork. When asked how could that be accomplished, the printer guy said that it could be done through InDesign...
I have access to InDesign CS5, but am at a loss as to how to figure out how exactly to accomplish this.
I have searched both Google and here, to no avail.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
    Warm Regards,
    Isa.

Thank you for your reply. I am creating a new OA Framework form to display Oracle project and tasks under the project. I was able to create a tree for one task and its subtasks, but I want to make the project as the top most node, and have all the top level tasks as the project's children. I created a view to make the project like a parent task for all top level tasks, and created a VO based on this view. But my tree structure messes up. Do you know where I can find sample code or tutorials on OAF tree structure? I greatly appreciate your help.

  • How to create custom GUI interface for Cisco router?

                       Hello,
I am working on a Cisco solution and I have my router configured for the solution I need. However, if a non-cisco person needs to use my solution then I think he will need a GUI interface which will have few "buttons" which when clicked will run some Cisco commands on Cisco router to make it work. Is there a way to design such GUI interface which is compatible with Cisco routers? I know Cisco has SDM, but that is too involved and detailed, which is useful only for people who know atleast a little bit about Cisco. Here I am looking at crowd who will have 0 knowledge of Cisco.
Please let me know if something like this can be done. If yes, how and how easily?
    Thank you.

There are lots of ways to do this - you can use SNMP or even HTTP to push or pull commands from Cisco devices. How easy it is to create a GUI depends on your programming skills. I would guess a simple web page triggering backend scripts would be the easiest way to do this.

  • How to create an inbound Idoc from an inbound IDoc in same client

How to create an inbound Idoc from an inbound IDoc in same client
Idoc will come from XI as an inbound idoc to SAP, now I have to read this inbound Idoc and split it into Several Inbound Idocs and now needs to be posted in the same client.
please let me know the procedure..
    Thanks in advance,
    Sagar

    Hi Sagar,
Develop a cusom Z-Inbound function module, configure the Z-FM to trigger when idoc is recieved from XI. In your Z-Inbound function module split the idoc (Recieved from XI)  into respective Idocs and Using MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE post the IDOCs into the same system.

    Hi,
We need to do custom configuration for this scenario such that an output type will be attached when ever an INVOICE is created.
Refer to application V3 in NACE. The Output type should contain an entry with transmission medium: Distribution (ALE).
for example check the customization done for an output type in NACE.
Goto NACE ---> Select an application V3 ---> Click on processing routines ---> select the output type (Eg: RD00) ---> Click on Details button  (CNTRL + SHFT + F2) which gives the configuration info.
For example we can generate the IDOC based on the settings in partner profiles for the customer (Sold To)

  • How to create IDOC for customer defined table

    hi,
How to create IDOC for customer defined table Records and how to send this IDOC to target system.
what message type will be used and on receiving system how to post these records.
      thankx.
      pillac.

    Hi,
You need to create a custom message type and custom IDOC type for this with whatever fields you want send. You need to create segments (WE30), IDOC type (WE30), Message types (WE81) and assign the message type to the IDOC type (WE82).
You will have trigger the IDOC using a Report or something after doing the partner profile settings.
Similary in the target system also, you will have do all the settings.
Take a look the links to find out what settings needs to be done.

  • Create an inbound interface framework: Guidelines needed

    Hi ,
I need to create an bespoke interface framework monitor (and data processing logic) using file transfers (Not using XI ).
Plan is to make the legacy system dump data files on some SAP server(I guess AL11 can show me the files). Then I need to pick the file and process the data and produce an error log. All the incoming, processed or errorred file details need to be displayed on some bespoke interface monitor
What I am looking for is some guidance and helpful tips which could guide me about how to create a bespoke interface monitor.
I would really appreciate if you have any documentation with table structure details, functon modules etc details or just some plan advise on how to start the design of this interface monitor.
    Thanks
    Shirin

I had to use one like that once. Had no access to codes though, but I can remember more or less how it works.
I remember there were four Z tables. One was the master, where every interface (inbound or outbound) should be registered before being able to be executed (this check were done under the incapsulated code of the functions). Second was responsible for registering processing data (each time an inferface was processed), like how many records were processed, valid processed transactions, etc. Third was to record history data, which user executed the interface, etc.
The last one were used to record restart data, in case some problem happened when processing interfaces.
Interface processings where identified by timestamp. So the generated files where named like INTNAME.<timestamp>, so that the file names not be too confused, or could not be overwritten.
There were function modules resposible for the actions: Init interface, Load Datafiles, Insert BDCData, Call Bapi, Move Datafiles, Done Inteface.
Also there were an include you could use in some programs, containing some macros that would help on log creation / messaging.
This was some of the framework's architecture.

  • Hi, I have Adobe Acrobat Professional.  I need to know how to create multi-links on 300 page docs

I need to know how to create multi-links on a 300 page document, showing "return to main Menu".  Ideally placed on the bottom right of each page. I have adobe acrobat Professional.

Import a picture to be a button, place it, activate HYPERLINK tool, draw a rectangle around the whole button, in the window popping up select the link behaviour, submit with OK.
Then copy & paste the button object to every page. I don't know whether pasting it on every of the 300 pages can be automated, but if not, it is still done quite fastly.

  • IDoc Inbound Processing for CREMDM & DEBMDM

    Hi experts,
I'd like to gather some feedback from you regarding the topic ERP IDoc Inbound Processing for CREMDM & DEBMDM. As you all know, there's currently no option to directly process CREMDM/DEBMDM IDocs in ERP. Currently you have to use PI for splitting the CREMDM/DEBMDM message into its related ADRMAS and CREMAS/DEBMAS IDocs.
    My areas of interest are:
    1) How satisfied are you with the current situation? Does the split work? Are there issues or problems in the current message handling? What are the Pro's and Con's from your point of view?
    2) What would be the requirements for a CREMDM/DEBMDM handler? What would you expect? Maybe you have implemented  something similar on project basis and could post some feedback?
One painpoint I'd see with a CREMDM/DEBMDM inbound is that you'll lose the IDoc Monitoring capabilities. The message split allows a single record tracing in the IDoc Monitor (as there is a 1:1 relation between IDocs and records). This changes for the mass processing. The monitor would display only the status of the IDoc and you'd need some other monitoring capabilities to check the results on record level. What are your thoughts about that? Is the monitoring important? Would the application log be a feasible solution for that challenge?
Additional comments are welcome, of course.
    Best regards
    Michael
PS: @ Matt, please contact me by mail. thanks.

    Hello ,
Here are some other pain areas regarding the message split :
    1. Complicated monitoring proess & reprocessing error idocs : We have to monitor ADRMAS & CREMAS or ADRMAS & DEBMAS during inbound processing. Also we could not find any best practices to reprocess error idocs. E.g. If ADRMAS fails & CREMAS succeeds what is the impact . Also the impact if it is reveresed. We know for sure that if CREMAS fails , vendor will not be created / updated. But we could not find specific pointers for ADRMAS failures.
    2. It is a tedious process to link CREMAS with corresponding ADRMAS idoc specially when SAP maintains internal number range for vendors.
3 . The process is complicated if you are managing customer or vendor contact information with contact address . We could succesfully implement the integration but it took us a while to reach end-point.
    4. Splitting really does not seem to support if ERP maintains internal number range.
    5. Another major issue we observed is , if ADRMAS is under process & corresponding DEBMAS or CREMAS is posted , it fails raising the message that Account is locked. Default serialization does work in ERP system . But overlap of few microseconds also cause this error.
    Hope this helps !!
Please let me know if you need any other specific details since we have used MDM - ECC integration using PI to its maximum extent .
    Regards
    Yogesh
