Need Information to Configure MIbs in 5508 Controllers

Hi All,
I Need to Know few informations about Mibs, we are  onboarding devices to HP NNM Tool for monitoring purposes. we have 10 wireless controllers.. We need to enable following traps for AP to pull from tool.
for the below traps to be enabled what are all the traps have to be enabled in controller ?? we have 4400 & 5500 series controllers.
I seen WLC -> SNMP -> trap control , lots of option, i need to clarify 2 thigs
1) whether this is the place ( WLC->SNMP->Trap control) where  we need to enable traps for the below Alerts.
2) if so, what are all the options need to be enabled for Below traps in (general/Ap/CLient/Security/Auto RF/Mesh)

I can tell you one thing cause your question is kind of crypto to me.
You can download the whole mib file for the current image running on your controller from the download software section on cisco site.
Also you can use the SNMP Object navigator on cisco site to look for whatever you want.
And if it is  urgent open TAC case cause we are responding on best effort.

  • Need information about SAP EM Configuration and Implementation

    Hi,
    I am new to SAP EM.I need to do Configuration for EM and Procurement visibility process.
    Please provide some information on configuration of EM with examples.
    Thanks,
    Prasuna.

    Hi
    There is wealth of information available on the [Service Marketplace |https://websmp107.sap-ag.de/scm]on the standard visibility scenarios which will probably get you started. Procurement visibility scenario is one of the them and have documentations.
    There are couple of points which are worth knowing that SAP Event Management
    - requires configuration in both application system (ECC) and SAP EM system (SCM)
    - good understanding of the function module (extractors) for sending and posting events
    - well thought supply chain events (design) business would like to monitor and manage
    - reactions to both expected and unexpected events (follow-up activities)
    The other resource available are [SAP PRESS technical book |http://www.sap-press.com/products/Implementing-and-Configuring-SAP-Event-Management.html] and [published case studies |http://www.scmexpertonline.com/article.cfm?session=&id=4804] on the SAP EM Procurement visibility scenario.

  • 2 Cisco WLC 5508 controllers and software upgrade 7.6.130 + FUS 1.9

    Hi
    I have two WLC 5508 controllers that need 7.6.130 and FUS 1.9 installed. (Current version 7.3 and FUS 1.7)
    Configuration: One controller is at Site A and the other controller is at Site B (two different states..)
    They're configured so that if Site A goes down, Site A AP's will failover to Site B and vice versa ..
    - What would be the recommended approach for upgrading the software to 7.6.130.0 (from 7.3) and also upgrading FUS 1.9 (from 1.7)?
    My plan was to download 7.6.130.0 to both controllers and pre-download the software to all AP's (about 100 total between both sites) and then reboot the controllers at night at the same time? Or one before the other?
    Step 2. Install FUS 1.9 to each controller.
    I'm concerned over what might happen during the upgrade and AP failover etc..
    Thanks

    This is what I would do:
    Upload v7.6.130.0 to all WLCs and then use the pre image download to push the image to all access points.
    Dont reboot the wlc
    Image swap in the access points so that v7.6.130.0 is primary
    Move all access point to one of the WLCs (A)
    Enable ap AAA authentication on the WLC that has no access points and the one you will work on first.  This prevents access points from joining
    Reboot the WLC (A)
    Upload the FUS 1.9.0.0
    Reboot WLC (A) this takes up to 45 minutes
    When the WLC (A) comes back online, uncheck ap AAA authentication
    Move access points from WLC (B) to WLC (A)
    Enable ap  AAA authentication on  WLC (B)
    Perform all the other task you did earlier on WLC (A)
    That's it.

  • Needs to be configured for Windows... but it already is!

    I just bought a brand new 80GB iPod Classic today. I hooked it up to my laptop's USB port, and the first time it showed up in my iTunes directory. Unfortunately iTunes informed that my iPod was corrupted, so I restored it. This happened TWICE.
    The third time I hooked it up, the iPod didn't show up in the directory, but a pop-box appeared telling me that the iPod needed to be configured for Windows, and would I like to configure now? I clicked yes, and nothing happened. Once I checked the iPod, I saw that the Version was 1.0.2. PC.
    Any ideas how to get my iPod up and running? Thanks in advance.
    iTunes version: 7.4.3.1.
    iPod version: 1.0.2. PC

    You need to connect your phone to iTunes on your COMPUTER, not on your phone.

  • More information on configuring node connections.

    In the Netscape Calendar Server Admin Guide chapter on Managing a Node
    Network, there is not sufficient information on configuring SNC connections.
    The example provided shows "all:2" with no information on why 2 is a good number
    for the example case. Other examples demonstrate increasing the number of connections
    for specific nodes with no information on when this is appropriate.
    <P>
    We have configured our network with all:2, but we need documentation that details
    how this number should be determined.
    <p>
    Two connections is the minimum in cases where there is one
    node configured on each server. The unicwsd requires one connection for processing
    of remote node requests and there should be at least one additional connection available
    to be used by the clients.
    <p>
    Depending on how much traffic there is between nodes, two connections
    might not be sufficient. The 'uninode -snc all' output should give you an
    idea if there are not enough connections configured. An example of the output
    follows:
    <p>
    uninode: connected to server1, node 10000
    <br>Last reset: 29/6/99 13:00:51
    PST8PDT
    <br>----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    <br><b>CONNECTION
    EX CO AV US LOST RETRY QUEUE CANCEL CHECK GRANTED</b>
    <br>----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    <br>(10000)->server2(10001) 2
    2 2 0
    1
    0
    0
    0
    36
    <br>(10000)->server3(10002) 2
    2 2 1
    0
    0
    0
    5
    126
    <br>(10000)->server4(10003) 2
    2 2 2

    2 2 0
    0
    0
    0
    0
    181
    <br>----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    <p>In the example above, there are not enough connections available from
    server1 to server4. <b>"US"</b> indicates that there were two connections
    used at the time the uninode -snc all was run. <b>"QUEUE" </b>indicates that
    there is one unieng process currently waiting for a free connection. <b>"CANCEL"
    </b>means that there were x number of processes that did not get a connection, and
    <b>"CHECK"</b> indicates the number of times a process had to retry before the request
    for an snc connection was either granted or canceled. <b>LOST, QUEUE,
    CANCEL, CHECK and GRANTED</b> are values that are reset when the unisncd
    is shut down, or when 'uninode -reset' is run.
    <p>
    <b>Note:</b> In cases where there is more than
    one node configured on one server, the node connections on that server going <b>to</b> the
    other nodes are pooled. That means that any process on that server could use any snc
    connection going to a node. In these cases the number of connections
    configured could even be as low as all:1. Again, this depends on usage,
    and might be subject to fine-tuning.

    Hi,
    you have to enable this additional measurements by executing
    x_cons <dbname> time enable
    Kind regards

  • Hi what all need to be configured in BSI by SAP HR

    Hi Gurus,
    Please provied me information about BSI.
    what need to be configured in BSI by the SAP Hr functional consutant.

    What about port 22/tcp? RAC fails to install if it does not have ssh access from one cluster node to all other cluster nodes.
    And firewall which network? Public or private? It would be a mistake to firewall the private (Interconnect) network - but something that could be inevitable when the Interconnect is not a truly dedicated and private network to server as the cluster's communication backbone.
    What about OEM?
    What about Apex, XDB and webdav?
    There are a number of network services related to Oracle and one needs to make a comprehensive listing of what is used (and on which ports) for correctly configuring the firewall.

  • Redundant guest anchor/office extend 5508 controllers

    Hello,
    We are looking to deploy 2 guest anchor/office extend 250 AP 5508 Controllers.
    The first 5508 would be primary for both public wireless and office extend AP's.  The second 5508 would not be used unless the first controller fails.
    What is best practice when it comes to the certificate for public wireless.  Should I create single certificate for both controllers or have two different certificates?
    Thanks

    This makes sense.  What would I need to do so that the networks don't overlap on both controllers for guest?  Would I need to make new networks on the secondary controller:

  • I need Information about Grid

    Hello,
    The first, i don't speak english very well.... ;)
    the company for which work has 3 seats now, but is going to open 5 more.
    All these seats are small, and the cost to install Oracle in each one of them is very elevated.
    i would like to know to me if Grid Computing can help me centralizing everything in a Seat. The scalability is something very important. and i need have several instances of BD oracle up...
    I need information...
    Yo can write me to [email protected]
    Thanks in advance

    Hi.
    By seat, I assume you mean site or location.
    It's difficult to answer this type of question as it depends on so many factors. Personally, I would always go for the centralized solution. This way you don't need to worry about replication or distribution of data. Those things are always a nightmare.
    RAC is great for high availability, and it will allow you to increase your horsepower as and when you need it, but you still need to consider your performance erquierments up front.
    Of course, centralization comes with it's own set of problems. Are you going to connect to the central server via the web, VPN, leased line? What happens when the connection is unavailable?
    There is just so much to consider...
    Cheers
