Need Intel HD display driver for my Satellite A660

I recently have tried to use Windows Movie Maker, but get error message to say the Intel HD driver installed is blocked. (version 8.15.10.2014).
When I try and update via the Intel updater am told cannot update as Operating Manufacturer has configured the device, but there is no more recent version on the driver downloads for my machine on the Toshiba support pages.
I have updated the Nvida card drivers no problem via the Nvida website, but how can I update the Intel one??Please advise as this is driving me nuts.
My machine is a Satellite A660 running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, with an Intel Core i5-480m processor and Intel(R) HD Graphics card.

Intel Core i5-480M supports the Intel HD graphics and the newest driver could be downloaded directly from Intel page:

The installation is a little bit tricky.
First of all you would need to download the ZIP package where all the singles driver files are zipped in the folder.
Then you should update the driver within the device manager.
Here you have to start the Advanced installation procedure which allows you to choose the downloaded and unzipped folder.
This update procedure works for me like a charm

Need swappable CD rom drive for the Satellite 230CX

After hours trawling the net, I still haven't found the part number for the swappable cdrom drive for the Satellite 230CX.
Sadly a couple of sites say it's the PA2659U / XM-1402B, so I bought one from eBay, and it doesn't fit!
Any help would be appreciated with either the straight answer or a pointer to a parts list.

I dont found any information about this notebook.
But usually it should be possible to order the supported and compatible CD rom part from the Toshiba service partner in your country.

Need right Win7 display driver for Satellite L30-10X

Hello,
I just reinstalled Windows 7 in my girlfriends Satellite L30-10x and I cant get the gpu to work, it seems like a driver problem, but even in device manager I cant even see the ati graphic card, all it says is standard VGA graphic card as if windows cant find it.
I know that Toshiba dont support windows 7 for this model, but before it was working perfect.
Please help me, I dont know what to do.

The notebook is really old so I dont think you will find Win 7 drivers on the Toshiba driver page.
The GPU seems to be ATi Radeon Xpress 200 (RC410MD)
It seems the ATI does not provide the Win 7 drivers for this GPU. But I found a solution:
1. open the control panel -> appearance and personalization -> display -> screen resolution
2. click on the advanced settings tab -> adapter tab -> properties -> drivers tab
3. click update driver -> search automatically
4. Windows 7 will find and install a driver for your ATI mobility xpress 200
5. restart computer when prompted

Need USB 3.0 driver for my Satellite L755-1J9

I'm from Spain, and after make format C: in my Satellite L755-1J9 , I can`t instal the USB 3.0 driver upload at the Toshiba drivers place in this webpage.
Can someone who has this driver help me please?

According notebook specification your machine was delivered with preinstalled Windows 7 64bit and this original recovery image contains all necessary drivers, including driver for USB 3.0.
The question is: what have you done exactly? Have you installed original OS version that you got with your machine or own Windows version and which one.

I have formatted my Toshiba Satellite A660-149 and I didnt create recovery CD/DVD.
I have installed Windows 7 but now thing is that I dont have any of Toshiba features like eco utility, HDD protection, face recognition, NVIDIA graphic controller.
Please suggest me what should I do now....& where I can get this software.

At the bottom of this page you will see option Driver download.
Go there, choose your notebook model and you will find all you need.
Of course, there you will find stuff for supported OS version only.

I have a problem with installing Display Drivers on Setellite P200-10C.
I install OS Windows XP and can't find drivers for NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600.
On this site there is only windows vista driver. On nVidia official site I have'n found any drivers for this device.
Can you help me?

http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/sb/CS-020683.htm has working xp video drivers, Intel 945 express chip set family is the video processor in the Satellite P200. Just for reference the intel video driver worked on my Satellite P200-RT5 part number pspboc-rt508c
The drivers you downloaded from nvidia are likely not working for you because instead of a nvidia or ati, you have an Intel graphics card. You have to try drivers for all three till one of them works.

Generally speaking the Toshiba EU driver page provides all drivers for Toshiba EU notebook series.
If you need another version, you will need to search somewhere in the net on 3rd party pages for independent, modified drivers.

At the moment I have installed most but from this site i can't seem to find a driver that will help my network card, nor my video NIVIDIA drive...

The Satellite Pro A200 PSAFCA is not known to me. I know only the Satellite Pro A200 PSAE1, PSAE4 and PSAE7. So could you please confirm your Pro A200 series?!
If you cannot find the single XP drivers on the Toshiba page I would recommend checking the LAN and the graphic chip which is installed on the motherboard and use the XP drivers from the chip manufacture.
If you need an graphic driver I would recommend using the drivers from the www.omegadrivers.net or www.laptopvideo2go.com site

Can not install latest ATI mobility Radeon x1600 display driver for my Satellite A100

my Satellite A100-704 PSAA9E is equipped with the ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 display graphic card, for which ATI provides a new driver, named Catalyst 8.3. My issue is that when I run the verification software I get a message telling me that driver is not suitable to be installed on my system.
Is that any information available about it? Can I still install the new Catalyst driver or it's better if I don't? Oh, the current driver I have running on my notebook is the one downloaded from the Toshiba site, 8.292 I believe.

I dont recommend the installation of any 3rd party graphic drivers. The fact is that such drivers are not tested and not certified and nobody knows how such driver would affect the notebooks hardware in worst case it could lead to the GPU overheating and damage

Why you install Windows 7 on Equium L20? In my opinion this pretty old notebook doesnt support new Windows 7
If your notebook has an Intel graphic card, you could try the Windows 7 driver from Intel directly.

Can anybody please help me. I am looking for the Driver for a long time. I have the ATI Radeon Xpress 200M.

As far as I know the L20 range was only supplied with Windows XP so it is unlikely that you will be able to get a suitable Windows 2000 Display Driver from Toshiba.
As you have already found out it is usually not possible to use the graphics manufacturers drivers directly since the graphics card is specially modified for use in a notebook.
You could try using third party drivers from sites such as http://www.omegadrivers.net/

Windows 7 display driver error on Satellite L300D

Hey guys, I have recently upgraded the OS on my Satellite L300D (PSLC8A), from Vista 32bit to Win7 32bit, but I need a better driver for the graphics card, an ATI Radeon 3100 256MB, and every time I try and run either the Win7 driver from the ATI website, or even the graphics drivers from the Toshiba websites (Ive tried the Vista display driver, the display driver for the Satellite L300D-ST3501 from the European website for windows 7 display driver etc etc) and every time I try, I get the same message, it goes through the entire process, then says it fails, always failing at the same part, at the ATI Display Driver installation
Am I trying the wrong driver? Is there not one out for my laptop for 7? I dont quite understand, and any help would be appreciated
Also like to point out, that Ive attempted to allow it to tell me when Win7 finds something new and needs permission, and have tried running *every* time in admin mode.

First of all you should find out what graphic card is built-in.
Install an free hardware diagnostic tool. You could use Everest Home Edit. for example.
This would help you to get more details about your GPU.
After that you could investigate a little bit what Toshiba notebooks have been equipped with the same graphic card chip.
I noticed that many series use the same devices like the same graphic card or chipset
Anyway. The Toshiba US driver page contains many Win 7 drivers you will find also some Win 7 drivers on Toshiba European driver page
Download the ATI driver for a notebook which has been equipped with the same graphic chip and you would get the compatible one!
Then install the driver in device manager! Yes, go to device manager and use the advanced installation this allows you to point to the ATI driver files.
This installation procedure should work

How to install display driver for Satellite A running Win XP?

I recently got rid of Vista from my Satellite laptop and had XP installed.
I need to install the display driver (For ATI Radeon Video Card) which I had to download from this site.
How do I install the driver?
When I go to reinstall the driver the system can not find it.
What am I doing wrong or what do I need to run first?
There are so many files I am not sure..I tried running set-up but that did not help.
