Need intelligence in Document

Question

Hi
For example:
In sales Quot. when i am entering the Sales employee name, automatically the contact no & Email id has to be display in the document.
In sales order i want the preferred vendor of the item,contact details has to come automatically.
By clicking the Drill Down button we can have a look on the contact details but my client requires automatically it has to be display in respective doc. so how to handle this.
For this i have made some UDF d made FMs but i am not getting properly.

Hi
I believe you are creating SO to PO and you need Vendor contact information in PO window .
I believe that would be difficult .
lets figure out what you need
1. Do you need Vendor information in Sales order table .
2.What is your formatted search
3.Where did you put your formatted  search
For for info - Preferred vendor is selected under Item Master data ,.So It pulls information automatically  when creating PO .
