Need Interactive Report EBiz 11.5.9 inventory tables and views over DB Link

I need to create an Interactive report on this SQL:
select glcc.segment4 as ENTITY_CODE
     , glcc.segment2 as DEPARTMENT_NUMBER
     , glcc.segment1 as Account
     , ai.VENDOR_NUMBER as VENDOR_NUMBER
     , ai.VENDOR_NAME as VENDOR_NAME
     , aiv.DESCRIPTION as DESCRIPTION
   --  , aiv.period_name
     , aiv.AMOUNT as INVOICE_DISTRIBUTION_AMOUNT
     , aiv.INVOICE_NUM as INVOICE_NUM
     , aiv.PO_NUMBER as PO_NUMBER
     , trunc(aiV.ACCOUNTING_DATE,'DD') as GL_DATE
     , aipv.CHECK_AMOUNT as CHECK_AMOUNT
     , aipv.CHECK_DATE as CHECK_DATE
     , aipv.CHECK_NUMBER as CHECK_NUMBER
     , glcc.segment3 as FUNDING_SOURCE
     , glcc.segment5 as IC
   --  ,to_char(aiv.INVOICE_DATE,'MON-YY') INVOICE_DAT\
  --   ,aiv.DISTRIBUTION_LINE_NUMBER
from
    apps.ap_invoice_distributions_V@FIN_PRD aiv
    ,apps.Ap_invoices_v@FIN_PRD ai
    ,apps.ap_invoice_payments_v@FIN_PRD aipv
    ,apps.gl_code_combinations@FIN_PRD glcc
where 1=1
and aiv.INVOICE_ID=aipv.INVOICE_ID(+)
and ai.INVOICE_ID=aiv.invoice_id
and aiv.PERIOD_NAME='JUL-08'
and glcc.code_combination_id=aiv.DIST_CODE_COMBINATION_ID
--and aipv.CHECK_ID is nullas you can see I am using a database link. I have the link setup and working fine on other Interactive Reports. The thing about this on is I need to run this in the connection before I run the SQL in order to see any data:
begin
    dbms_application_info.set_client_info('0');
end;Any idea how I can do this?

Hi Scott;
I tried this in Home>Application Builder>Application 108>Shared Components>Edit Security Attributes \"Virtual Private Database (VPD)":
if :APP_PAGE_ID = 2 then
begin
dbms_application_info.set_client_info('0');
end;
end if;
The page ran but saw no data.
Then this:
if :APP_PAGE_ID = 2 then
begin
dbms_application_info.set_client_info('0')@FIN_PRD;
end;
end if;
The page failed to run with this error:
ORA-06550: line 3, column 51: PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "@" when expecting one of the following: := . ( % ; The symbol ":= was inserted before "@" to continue
I thought for sure this would have done it!

    When you run the program, the system displays the following basic list with a the page header defined in the program:
    You can trigger the AT LINE-SELECTION event by double-clicking a line. The system sets the status TEST and deactivates the function code PICK. The status TEST contains function codes FC1 to FC5. These are assigned to pushbuttons in the application toolbar. The page header of the detail list depends on the status.
    Here, double-clicking a line no longer triggers an event. However, there is now an application toolbar containing five user-defined pushbuttons. You can use these to trigger the AT USER-COMMAND event. The CASE statement contains a different reaction for each pushbutton.
    For each interactive event, the system decreases the SY-LSIND system field by one, thus canceling out the automatic increase. All detail lists now have the same level as the basic list and thus overwrite it. While the detail list is being created, SY-LSIND still has the value 1.

  • What are lot transaction register report source tables and views?

    I have a request to create a custome report duplicating all the fields in the standard "lot transaction register" report in EBS 12.1.1. How can I find all the tables and views used in this report or any standard report for that matter?

    You can either download the report from the server and open it using Reports Builder 10g on your client and get the code. Or, enable trace and generate the tkprof file for this concurrent program and get the object names.
    Thanks,
    Hussein

  • Attach User define tables and view table need add to database into my add-o

    Hi there,
    I want to deploy an addon, there are User define tables and view table need add to database.
    I need some advice on some issues..
    1. Can I attach User define tables and view table need add to database into my addon.
    2. I wonder which chance is properly to add them, if add these user define objects in time of install and I can't get the enough information that connect to SQL server
    Thanks for any help.

    Hi Weerachai,
    Here's an example of how to create a user-defined table in code. My suggestion would be to check if it exists when your add-on starts up and then if not, create the tables, fields and objects.
    'User Table
        Private Sub CreateTable(ByVal sTable As String, ByVal sDescription As String, ByVal oObjectType As SAPbobsCOM.BoUTBTableType)

                oUserTablesMD.TableDescription = sDescription
                oUserTablesMD.TableType = oObjectType
                iResult = oUserTablesMD.Add()
                If iResult <> 0 Then
                    oCompany.GetLastError(iResult, sMsg)
                    MessageBox.Show("Error Creating Table: " & sTable & " Error: " & sMsg)
                End If
            End If
            System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ReleaseComObject(oUserTablesMD)
        End Sub
    'User Field

            Dim oField As SAPbobsCOM.Field
            oTable = oCompany.UserTables.Item(sTable)
            For i = 0 To oTable.UserFields.Fields.Count - 1

                    bFound = True
                End If
            Next
            System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ReleaseComObject(oTable)
            If Not bFound Then
                oUserFieldsMD = oCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oUserFields)
                oUserFieldsMD.TableName = "@" & sTable
                oUserFieldsMD.Name = sName
                oUserFieldsMD.Description = sDescription
                oUserFieldsMD.Type = aFieldType
                If aFieldType = SAPbobsCOM.BoFieldTypes.db_Alpha Or aFieldType = SAPbobsCOM.BoFieldTypes.db_Numeric Then
                    oUserFieldsMD.EditSize = iSize
                Else
                    oUserFieldsMD.SubType = aSubType
                    oUserFieldsMD.Mandatory = bMandatory
                End If
                oUserFieldsMD.LinkedTable = sLink
                iResult = oUserFieldsMD.Add()
                If iResult <> 0 Then
                    oCompany.GetLastError(iResult, sMsg)
                    MessageBox.Show("Error Creating Field: " & sTable & "." & sName & " Error: " & sMsg)
                End If
                System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ReleaseComObject(oUserFieldsMD)
            End If
        End Sub
    If you want to create a View I think you would have to use the RecordSet object. This will ensure that you don't have to log in to the database again
    Hope it helps,
    Adele

    Yes. You can change this using the Uniquely Identify Rows by/Unique Column properties in the Link Column section on the Report Attributes tab of the interactive report definition.

  • Interactive Reports Download In Colour format in html and csv

    Hi All I want to download interactive report in colour format(as it is format) in html and csv using apex 4.0.2

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comma-separated_values
    A comma-separated values (CSV) file stores tabular data (numbers and text) in plain-text form. As a result, such a file is easily human-readable (e.g., in a text editor).re: colours of html output
    interestingly, there are settings in print attributes, but they have no bearing on the output... obviously nothing to do with the html output. Probably best bet is BI Publisher, where you can define your own report templates.

  • Need interactive Captivate files published for use on computers and tablets, including iPad

    I need to publish interactive Captivate files for e-learning to work on tablets, including ipad. LMS supports a variety of formats, but I have yet to find the "magic settings" to run on iPad. Has anyone had success in doing this?

    Do you know what the .htaccess code was for? I am uploading to an LMS, and get no error message on tablets, no message at all. Just blank. Does this .htaccess code apply to LMS, do you know?

  • How to enable detail view interactive report as default for public user?

    Hello all,
    I'm currently developing a search results page.
    I'm trying to do a nice view instead of a default table like view from the interactive reports. So in this case i enabled the detail view so i could make fancy designs.
    all worked well and looked neat but however when i pass value from my search page using IR_ROWFILTER and clear the results page using page_no,RIR, it brings me to the interactive reports result page with the default table like view.
    i have to press the detail view to get it. i tried saving it as default but it wont work. this issue is for public user.
    if i make the page requires authentication, and save the detail view as default i would not have any problem. i could search and it will straightly bring to the detail view of the search page.
    of course the other reason i found is because im using the IR_ROWFILTER and clearing page using page_no,RIR..without it,it works well but i need it coz im doing a a search result. i need to send search text from another page and put it in the filter in the search page. i would need to use RIR to clear it for searching again.
    is this a limitation for public user? it doesnt happened for authenticated user though..
    how can i make this view as default for public user?

    Flip the report into Detail view on page load using an Page Load dynamic action with the following Execute JavaScript Code true action:
    gReport.data.view('DETAIL');

    Do you really need this to be an IR? Other than the detail layout, do you require any of the interactive features? If not, try using a standard report with a custom report template.

  • Report over database link error

    Good morning all.
    I have a database link LINKA from USERA on LOCALSERVER to USERB on REMOTESERVER.
    (create database link LINKA connect to USERB identified by mypassword using validtns)
    In USERC on REMOTESERVER I have a TABLEX, with grant all on TABLEX to USERB on REMOTESERVER.
    In USERB on REMOTESERVER I have a view TABLEXV, select * from USERC.TABLEX
    From USERA on LOCALSERVER I can select * from TABLEXV@LINKA. In fact I can insert/update/delete tablexv from USERA.
    I also have a view TABLEXV on USERA, select * from TABLEXV@LINKA. I can also select/insert/update/delete from USERA.TABLEXV.
    So far so good - all working as expected.
    Then, my APEX app on LOCALSERVER, interactive report, parsing schema USERA, querying TABLEXV, I get the following:
    when "Exclude Link Column", I get the error "The requested URL /pls/apex/f was not found on server.
    when "Link to Single Row View", report displays correctly.
    when "Link to Custom Target", I get the error "The requested URL /pls/apex/f was not found on server.
    When I run the select * from TABLEXV as a regular report (i.e. not interactive), I also get the error.
    So the only time I get the report displayed correctly is using IR and "Link to Single Row View".
    However, clicking on the link (for Single Row View) I get "The requested URL /pls/apex/wwv_flow.show was not found on this server.".
    To summarize:
    - accessing table via view over database link
    - works outside of apex without issue
    - inside only works when Link to Single Row View set
    - But clicking on link fails
    I could live with just having the Link to Singe Row View option if I could disable displaying of the icon so that the user cant click on it.

  • User Interface Template for Interactive Report Region

    In 3.2, where do we set the user interface template for Interactive Reports region?
    No matter what out of the box theme I switch to, the Interactive Reports region shows the same. What and where do I change the template so that alternating rows use two different colors?

    There is no template for Interactive Reports like for a "normal" report. You need to modify the CSS and supply your own for this to happen.
    I believe most things are tagged with #apexir - firebug with Firebox is invaluable. This thread may help:

  • Make interactive report column uppercase

    Hi All,
    I have an interactive report in which I have a field which has a column link defined on it. Clicking this link allows me to go to the next interactive report.
    I would like to display the data in this column as UPPERCASE. I have tried modifying the report query by applying the
    UPPER function to the column. (i.e. select column a, column b, UPPER (column c)) but it broke the links in my report. I had to recreate this link manually after and was afraid i had broken my application. I was able to fix this.
    I know that this can be done through modifying the CSS template for the report region, but my HTML and CSS skills are pretty basic. So far, the only way i am able to make the data in this column appear uppercase is to have all the data in this column uppercase in the database table itself. If data is entered in this column in lowercase, the problem will resurface and my data will not appear as uppercase.
    Any suggestions as to what modification i would have to make and where in order to make this column display its data UPPERCASE?
    Thanks,
    Tim

    In general, changing the query shouldn't break things. Perhaps Apex saw the modification as changing the column name. A quick check would be to try SQL like:
    select column1, column2, Upper(column3) as column3, ...If that doesn't work, we may need more info on how this report is set up and how the links are working.

  • Interactive report column filters drop Ampersands

    We have interactive reports that include a column called status, and one of the values for status is R&R. The values are displayed properly in the report, but when the user selects the stats column filter, the value in the list is simply displayed as R, i.e. the &R has been dropped. It is 4.02.07.
    Is this a known issue? if not, what is the process for submitting it as a defect?
    Edited by: user12979818 on Jul 29, 2011 9:12 AM

    Please then SEARCH THE FORUM.. If you think this is a defect of the tool...
    Escaping the "&" character
    Now instead of complaining that the tool is broken, you can also fix it by using this for your LOV..
    If your LOV is dynamic (table driven) you could use this:
      SELECT utl_url.escape(Display_Column,TRUE) Display Column, Returned_Column FROM LOV_TABLE;
    {CODE}
    Please note from this document, that & is a RESERVED/SPECIAL CHARACTER with HTML... Thus it needs be dealt with accordingly..
