Need logic for previous Quarter Amount

Hi ,
I have one ztable which contains the Quater wise updated data. In this table MATNR was the key field.  I want the requirement that, if i execute my report , i want the previous Quater of the stock of the material should be display in my report.
Example : if July,Aug,Sep is first Quater(2008) , i want the material of the stock value in Apr,May june(2007 4th Quarter) previous quater .

    Hi Rakesh,
         To accomplish the required output, you need to create variables that are input enabled and of processing type user eixt in the columns of your report in the query designer. I am assuming that, you would have atleast one variable which is input enabled and of processing type manual entry.
    The user would input a date ( for example may 21) in this variable. You need to capture this value in the user eixt in I-STEP 2. From this value you need to calculate the previous month and pass it to the user exit variable. Below is a sample code,
    ----variable ZPREVDATE:pass the to value from variable ZCURRDAT -
    DATA : LV_CALDAY TYPE SY-DATUM,

    Hi,
    first of all you should read the following thread ABAP Development It is really hard to read code without proper formatting.
    It looks like you use change documents to get user name for last change. For each document you use last change document and hence you have same name for every item. I am not sure if it is possible (it should be) but for each item you need to look for last change document corresponding to this item.

    I have a selet statement where i need to write below logic .

    can somebody tell me how to set range for the above requirement.

  • Need code for calculation of amount field(DMBTR)of BSEG table conditionally

    I am selecting data for fields belnr(A/c doc.), dmbtr(Amount), hkont(G/L acc) from  bseg cluster table giving the particular value for hkont in the selection screen.now there are some records fetched out of which there are few records in which same A/c no.(belnr) .So my requirement is to collect those same belnr records and do following calculation:
    1. suppose for some record of same belnr , if all the value for field SHKZG is 'H' then summing up the values of field DMBTR.
    2. suppose for some record of same belnr , if few value for the field SHKZG is 'H'  and few are 'S' then the                                  (summation the values of field DMBTR for all 'H' in field SHKZG  -summation the values of field DMBTR for all 'S') and both the case the single record will fetched with belnr, sum(DMBTR) according to the condition, and hkont. Please provide me the reqd. code for the above problem.Thanks in advance.

    1. Create new internal table, STAB with only two fields. (with header line)

    So can you help me from which tables can we fetch the long text written in the catalogs for that specific application.

You need to get the Header details of Longtext as explained in the document, and then with the help of FM READ_TEXT you will be getting the longtext lines. You or your ABAPer follow the document, it is not difficult to retireve the information you sought. The Header Details to your specific case lie in the table of Further section of the above document. (You should find these details on your own by the way described in the document)

  • Work Center Changes need data for previous and new work center

    Hi All,
    I have a requirement as the organisation is going through RESTRUCTURING. In ECC in Plant Maintainance they are changing Work Center. E.G.
    Work Center OLD : ABC
    Work Center NEW : XYZ
    Now the requirement is I have data for ABC already coming in BI Prod. Env. Now when they will change ABC to XYZ the new data will come for XYZ.
    Reporting Reqmt:
    Data In Cube
    Work Center     No. of Maintainence Orders
    ABC                             10
    XYZ                             20
    When user run the report it should and gives input in Work Center variable as " XYZ" then
    XYZ -- 30
    Presently it is showing
    ABC --10
    XYZ --20
    They have list of OLD Work Center mapping to NEW Work Center.
    Now, Can anyone tell me is it possible to achive this scenario.
