Need Low Resolution Camera App

Hello,
I have an Iphone and an Ipad. I need to be able to take pictures with both and save them to about 100-200Kb or less.
I have found a few low res camera apps that will save only as low as 1MB (Procam and Camera+). Could you help me find a camera app that can save images as low as 100-200kb? I will be using these images to upload into a web database and I don't want to use too much space with each photo. I will be taking pictures of broken phones from about 1 foot away. I have found photo editing apps that can save to less than 100Kb but I would rather have a camera app instead. Could you help me find an app for this?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Iram

Yes, your pictures taken with the Playbook camera certainly should show in the Pictures folder on the Playbook.
Just for the heck of it, can you try turning your Playbook off and back on and check your Pictures app/folder again?

I am a new owner of BB Playbook.  Everything seems to be working okay except camera app.  I can take a picture with it but nothing will show up in picture app.  According to the help video, the pictures taken by camera app should show up in picture app from the menu option.

  • Do I have to finalize project in HD, it was taken with low resolution camera?

I have converted some old videos from tape for a movie project and the resolution isn't very good.  Seems like a waste to save them in HD, is there an option not to finalize a project in 1080p?
    Thanks

When you finalize a movie, you are Sharing it to Media Browser in all available sizes. If your footage is Standard Def, it should not Share in 1080P, but it might if your project includes some 1080P clips as well.
You don't have to Finalize at all. You can use the Share menu to Share to the Media Browser in the sizes you want. You can also Share to iTunes, Export a move (which is the same as sharing to Media Browser or iTunes except that it lets you specify a folder to save your movie to. There are several other options as well in the Share menu.

  • My iphone 4s suddenly displays images from Yahoo, Google, and Flickr at low resolution. The camera on my phone works fine, but any web related photo content is now pixelated and low res, what's the deal?

My iphone 4s suddenly displays images from Yahoo, Google, and Flickr at a low resolution. I have IOS 7.0.4. My phone camera works fine, but any web based photo content from Safari, Yahoo images, Google images, and Flickr all come in pixelated and low res. What's the deal?

It happened to me but later I figured out that cellular signal was not that great and so the Internet was very slow. It took me about 2 minutes to get the full resolution picuture on either of the app you've described. Try to get faster internet either by wifi or good signal and then check.

No. If you want full compatibility with that display for all Adobe apps you’ll need to move to Creative Cloud.

Just now you said the other Apple ID stored inside it, is that mean all my data back up in that the other ID?

  • I transferred some photos to my iphone via email and they come up in camera roll as low resolution.  How do I fix this?

I transferred some photos to my iphone via email and they have very low resolution.  First I sent them from iPhoto with highest resolution, then I transferred them to my desktop in highest resolution and added them to an email, opened the email and saved to my Camera roll.  They all look like low resolution photos. This is the exact method I have used to transfer photos in the past with my 4S and never had a problem.  What am I doing wrong?  Is this a bad camera?  HELP please!  Thank you!

My husband has the same phone, we purchased them at the same time.  I sent him the same photos in the same email that I downloaded them from and on his phone they show up with the normal higher resolution.  Is it possible that there is something wrong with my iPhone or is there a setting that can be changed?  I'm still learning to use it.  All my other photos are of normal resolution.  Does this make any sense to anyone?
    Please help!

  • Why does low resolution warning show when I used a high resolution camera

    Hi,
I am just learning about iphoto, and have been uploading photos I took with a 4 mega-pixel camera. I have printed out photos at Kodak printers directly from the camera, and they came out great. However, when I upload the photos to the Mac, then burn them to a CD, and try to print them they come out blurry and have the low resolution warning. Does anyone know why that is happening? Is there a setting that decides the photo quality when pictures are uploaded?
Are the photos I have now "doomed" to be at low resolution?
    Thanks

The "share" function actually places a mini-library on the CD so that it can be loaded into another Mac that has iPhoto. Just like in your library, the CD will contain, for each photo, the original "out of the camera" version AND the most recently modified version AND a thumbnail for viewing within iPhoto. Apparently the thumbnail was the one that was inadvertently selected for printing and, of course, the resolution is minimal.
If you want to burn a CD for use on a PC or to give to your favorite photo-finisher, create a folder on the desktop and "File/Export" the contents of the album to that folder. Then, EXIT iPhoto and burn the CD with the contents of the desktop folder. After checking the CD and confirming that all is OK, you can trash that folder.

  • Low resolution Illustrator file needs to be changed to high resolution?

I created a logo for a client in Illustrator that they were going to use on large format banners.  The file contained one Photoshop image that I  imported into my Illustrator file and changed into a vector object.  I also outlined all type.  The only other items on the logo were colors done in CMYK.  The client now says the overall image was done in 'low resolution' and needs to be in 'high resolution' but I'm confused about what part of the design she would be referring to (as, as far as I know) there are no pixels that would pertain to resolution - (unless the CMYK color builds translate into a problem?).
As she is a new designer for a client (my friend) I'd like to get some feedback before I just ask her what she's talking about and embarrasing her (or me).
    Any thoughts?  Thanks.

I'll note... after reviewing my file, the only other thing I noticed was under Document Setup, the Transparency preset was at 'Medium' instead of 'High' resolution, but here again, I thought this was a non-factor because as far as I know there is no 'transparency' (no jpegs, effects, etc.)... just the vector items that I noted.

  • The problem that app icons have a low resolution in Launchpad Screen

    Here is a screenshot.
In Macbook pro with retina display, app icon often have a low resolution in Launchpad screen.
If the app install again after restarting the mac, the app icon in launchpad screen has normal resolution.
Do anyone know how to resove this problem?

Had this problem from time to time, at random, with Lion. After Mountain Lion it is a lot worse... many icons, non only personalized but also system icons, look blurry and pixelated...
I have done EVERYTHING I read on the many threads about this issue here at apple, as well as on other sites, but nothing helped... (removed thumbnails.data, delete caches, deleter .DS_store files, finder preferences, etc. etc. etc.).
This happens on both my macs, an iMac 2011 and a MacBookPro 2010...
How is it possible to have this BUG since the last 3 version of the OS, with Apple not solving the problem but rather getting worse?

  • Since syncing with iCloud all my photos in my photo app are much lower resolution than they were before. Can anyone explain what happened an how I might get back my high resolution photos?

Since syncing with iCloud all my photos in my photo app are much lower resolution than they were before. Can anyone explain what happened an how I might get back my high resolution photos?

    Thanks again.
Unfortunately I don't have iPhoto (running Windows).
    I did, however, figure out a work-around.
I created an empty directory on my computer, and told iTunes to "Sync Photos from..." that empty directory. This deleted all the photos from the iPod (go figure).
I then set the "Sync Photos from..." dropdown back to directory that actually contained all my photos, and sync'd again.
And, yes, they all loaded onto the iPod at their better, higher resolution.
Thanks for all your help. Photos (and wallpaper) are perfect, again

  • I need advice on my camera app problem

    Hi...
I have been suffering with this camera app problem for the last month and a half of having my iPhone 4S. What happens is that the camera is either working fine and I am able to use it for a short while before it completely shuts down with a purple screen, which results to a black screen and then one day I heard this funny click noise almost like the shutter in the camera was going off at the back.
Now what I am left with is I can not use my camera at all or I can use it for like 5mins before it has a "melt" down.
I asked for advice about a month ago and was told to restart the phone. Back up my phone and restore my software. Well I have now done that twice and that hasn't made a difference.
My phone is only 5months old and I haven't dropped it or anything because most of the time it's on a table or in my hand bag.
So my service provider that I have my contract with has said that they can send it in for repair or they can send it in for testing and see if they can find the fault and if not then they will replace my phone with the iPhone 5 with a pay in difference.
So help me which option is the better one to go for with this problem???
Because I am a photographer and I love having a camera and if I don't have my camera on my I resort to my iPhone.
    So HELP please.

    thanks very much, that's worked

  • My camera shutter is frozen on my 4S and i use camera apps to take regular pictures. Is there a facetime app that will force these cameras to work? or is there a resolution to my camera issue?

My camera shutter is frozen on my 4S. Some camera apps work, but is there a solution to this? I hate not having FaceTime.

Basics frrom the manual are restart, reset, restore.
Have you tired each of these?

  • Duplicating stream object to new stream with lower resolution

Hi all generally I have a question, Is it possible for ams to split my original live stream to a new stream but with lower resolution, so i have two streams one with high resolution and one with low resolution?
If not I how does it Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder do? I can steam up to 3 different resolutions from one camera object. Is it possible to do also from flash?
I want to built a multi user conference application. But have some cpu usage  issues, so I need a additional lower resolution stream to use for the miniature views.
Could You help me with this, any tips how could I do such a thing?
I using rtmp protocol to communicat and adobe media server 5.
Sorry if a similar thread was already published on this forum.

    Thx 4 the replay.
So maybe I could do something like this:
I am able to send two streams from one camera but they both have the same  resolution.
Is there any way from flash app to send two streams from one camera with different resolution like FMLE does?

  • Low resolution warning on pics

Hi. I'm new to this iPhoto app and not very good or experienced with photos!! And I need help!!
I received a CD with some pics on whihc I saved to my desktop as .jpg images. I then imported them into iPhoto 6.0.5 and they appear fine. However, when I try to order these pics using iPhoto I get a warning with regard to the low resolution quality of the pics for every size except the 5 x 8cm one. Is there a way to overcome this as I would really like to print these pics? The pic is a 480 pixel by 720 pixel.
    Please help me!!

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. What print size did your friend print these to? For a 4 x 6 inch print your dpi would be around 120 dpi. That might give you a "fair" print. To see if the size you want in the book will be OK try printing it yourself at that size and see how it looks. However, it may not look quite as good in the book.
That size is pretty small. Ask your friend if he burned the full sized image file and not a reduced size.
    Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
