Do any one have material on LSMW for uploading New Customer Master Record with screenshots. I have Material on updating/changing the Cutomer Master Record, But i want to Upload New.

Thanks for your generosity. I dont have any issue (FYI, please have a look at MM forum where I am one of the active contributor)
My concern is if you send any file to personal email ID then other SDNer will not get any benifits from your valuable suggestion/inputs. so instead you can sent it to SDN moderator who will help to upload the document and provide you link which you can include in your reply. (see the process in welcome and rule of engagement thread).
We all are here to help eachother, but of course we can not exclude other SDNer when giving our inputs.

Partner functions for SAP Customer Master

I am in the MDM solution definition phase for SAP Customer Master at one of our Cients place. The requirement is to set up a central master data scenario where creation & modification of any customer record will be done via MDM. The following components of Netweaver are in the landscape - SAP MDM, EP, XI.
I need clarification on the following points -
- Is it possible to set up the partner function in MDM, if so, how?
- Need to replicate the standard SAP functionality where the system can be configured to create Ship To, Payer, Bill To automatically when a Sold To record is created. Is this possible? Are there any work arounds?

Partner Function comes under Condition Technique in SAP ECC.here some config has to be done.
For mapping it in MDM, First create a Qualified Table - Partner Function.Determine the Non-Qualifiers and Qualifiers.Then as said by Suresh, u need Java API stuff to complete this task and frontend being EP.

It can be done using EP as front end and Java API to dertermine the partner based on the account group.

Latest (most recent ) price of material for a customer in the report.

I need to create a query where I need to show latest(most recent ) price of the material of a customer based on condition types. I need to show latest price of the material for the customer. can some one please tell me how to show this latest(most recent ) price in the report.

That is ok but i want only one record be considered for reporting, not all records resulting into avarage.

Dual Control for Vendor/Customer Master Data

We can set Dual Control for Vendor/Customer Master Data. I have set it. According to the cycle, I have customized sensitive field, and make changes in Vendor/Customer A/c. Here the changes will be confirmed by other user who is authorised to confirm the changes. In this scenario, I would like to know, can we avoid this confirmation once we have actived? If, no than how could we confirm the changes and where can we set authorisation?

No, You cannot avoid the dual check if You activate it. Another user by FK08 has to confirm the changes.
Then You can delete the field for the dual control into the table T055F and no check will be done in the future.

I want to know how to reserve the material for a customer , like i have one material code : A and i want to reserve this material for one customer for which i will do billing after 10 days and this material should not be sale to any other customer or issue to any departmetn how to do this.

It's not just iTunes you need to update...
You need to upgrade to Leopard v10.5.8 at the very least in order to sync, restore, and backup an iPod touch.

RFC for creating Customer Master

Hi All,
          If anyone has created any RFC or has consumed standard RFC for the following SD requirements , please let me know.
1. Creating a new customer centrally, also should be able to update partners.
2. Extending customer to a new sales organization
3. Adding partners to existing customer (This should overwrite any existing partner)
4. Any BAPI/RFC specific to SIN version as Indian customer needs Excise data also to be updated.

Hi the best way is to go for LSMW.
Direct Input program is available for Customer Master load.
So you can go for LSMW using Direct Input method.
Here are the program details.. LSMW Screen..

Fast entry for extending customer master to other sales area??

I have list of customer master, now the requirement is to extend 60-70% of the customers to a different sales area, Is there any tcode, like fast entry for extending the customer master to the new sales area??

If you are using this tool for the first time, i would not suggest directly using it on Production. Use it few times on Test client for making yourself familiar with this tool. It is a very powerful tool and changes made from this cannot be undone.

I need to add a new custom report to the PSPRCSRQSTDLG page - How ?

We are moving to FIS 9.0 from 8.4 and I am retrofitting a report. The report in 8.4 is called from the Process Request page and I can't see how to get a custom report to display in this page.

The PRCSRQSTDLG page is the "2nd page" (so to speak) of a run control componet/page which is called when the "Run" button is pressed.
All you need to do is to create a new process definition for your custom report. On the 2nd tab of the process definition enter the component for the run control page from which the report is to run. Save. When you navigate to the run control page and press "Run" your custom report will now appear on the PSPRCSRQSTDLG page.

I need to create customer master data (T-Code: XD01) include the company code data and sales area data.
Is there any function module that I can use? I tried to use BDC but since the screen is different for each account group, I'm thinking is there any FM that can use so that I do not need to create so much BDC.

How to set new role for new custom entity only

I created a new custom entity, I want to create new role for it only. So I created new role and set custom entity User role. But When I login the user with created role, it show now right to access CRM.

Are you trying to grant access so that users can use this custom entity but no other data at all?
You will still have to include access to all sorts of bits of CRM just to make the user interface work - especially the things on the Business Management and Customization tabs of your security role. You also need to check these 6 settings:
Special privileges in CRM Security Roles
If this is the only security role you plan to give to your users, I would suggest you start from a standard role and remove access to other entities, rather than start from blank and work upwards.

Here is the answer: Yes it is possible. Download the file, using option - File Download. File should include all key attributes & also attributes that needs to be updated. (Key here is to have appropriate assignment ID. )
Use the same file for File Upload (modify attributes like Sort Key as required).

User Exit for managing Customer Master Texts- Urgent

I have a requirement in which the the Customer Master Central texts for certain text Id's are to be maintained in such a way via XD02 that whenever any changes are made and it is saved the changes become non editable and added with user date and time and then the user can add additional line of texts but cannot edit the earlier ones. So in this way the earlier texts are prevented from accidental deletion and any new addition has a stamp( User,date,time) to determine who changed it and when. I searcehd for any exit in the program but could find only one i.e. EXIT_SAPMF02D_001
Is this requirement faesible in standard SAP?
Now to me this exit could not serve any purpose.Please help.
