Need manual for Satellite S2610CDT/6.0

Hello .
I would like to find the manual for this notebook (Satellite S2610CDT/6.0) but i can't find it on the Toshiba-site.
It is for a friend and he likes to internet with it but the notebook has no network-entrance. So I would like to find out if it is still possible.
Anybody has some ideas?

I have checked Toshiba support site and the manual is listed there. Please go to http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > Support & Downloads > Support Homepage.
There you can find Toshiba User Manual under Downloads.
At this point under product type select ARCHIVE and you will find it.

    On that site you can choose the machine you have (in your case Satellite -> Satellite A-series -> A40) and then download the manual as pdf.

    Dont think that anybody here will be able to help you and to get any links to the repair manuals.
    Fact is that such manuals are not for public usage; just for the Toshiba authorized service providers.
    So if you need a help you should contact the ASP in your country.

    Been all over, and have had nothing but frustration from trying to use the cumbersome and largely useless Toshiba 'help' services.
    If anyone can help, I need specs for the Satellite i3 C50-A-1DV.
    I have looked for an hour now and I can find nothing.
    In short, I want to buy new memory - upgrading it from 4 to 8gb - but I can find no info beyond
    that it is ddr3.

    Googling around I found follow information: Your notebook model can be upgraded up to 16GB.
    Compatible RAM modules that you can use are as follow:
    2GB DDR3-1600 - PA5037U-1M2G
    4GB DDR3-1600 - PA5037U-1M4G
    8GB DDR3-1600 - PA5037U-1M8G
    Using these part numbers you can find full specification but it must be DDR3 1600MHz.
    I recommend you to use compatible and high quality RAMs only.

    Service manuals that you mean are not public and only for ASPs (authorized service provider).
    You can search with Google to find instructions how to disassemble this notebook. Maybe you will find something.
    To be honest if you dont have experience with notebook disassembling ask a technician for help. This is a little bit tricky.

    I presume your notebook is an European notebook model and you must not search the drivers on Canadian site. Just go to http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com 'Support & Downloads. For older notebook models (like yours) you should as product type choose Archive.

    Such technical manuals that you mean are not for public and are only available tor ASPs and Toshiba because on the Toshiba website I can only download the user manual.
    But for hardware informations you dont need a service manual. You can find enough informations in user manual or if you search with Google as Akuma suggested.
    Furthermore if you have installed XP or Vista you can use a hardware information tool, like PC Wizard 2008 or Everest.

    What i search is a repair manual, so i can take the notbook a part clean up the fans and put all back together.

    Problem is that Maintenance Manuals is not public document and you will not be able to find it anywhere.
    What you can do is to use Google and search if you will be able to find some page with disassembling description.
    Have you Googled around already?

    Just wondering if anyone knows where I can find a service manual / engineers guide for a Satellite L30?? I have a broken hinge on my laptop and Toshiba were very helpful in helping me find replacement parts - via Topaz. They were also a bargain at only 8.00 + postage for a pair of them. However......when I enquired about 'how to fit them?' they both became rather 'un-helpful'!!!!
    And I really don't feel like paying PC World the 219.00 they quoted to fit them!!!
    I have no fear of opening and playing around with the insides, but any help or 'pointers' would be gratefully appreciated.

    The Satellite M40x is pretty old notebook and therefore you have to search in *Archive* for drivers. Thats all!
    Then you can see and download all drivers for it.
