Need more error information from RWB
Hello,
I am looking at the audit log for a process that I ran. I am using the communication channel monitoring a selecting the communication channel to get the details. in the audit log there is a entry with a type "Warning" and the description "error executing OS command" followed by the command. there is no other information that I can find to let me know what the error is.
are there some other places that I can look to find out what the error is? when I execute the command in SM49, it is successful, so I am not sure what error this process is generating

I think if you increase the logging level on the file adapter(this can be done via Visual admin), you should be able to get more details in the Trace file on the server - which can be viewed using Log viewer

Did the sentence you mean only one database not upgrade to SharePoint 2013 and given the error?
One or more of the following might be the cause:
Insufficient SQL Server database permissions
SQL Server database is full
Incorrect MDAC version
SQL Server database not found
Incorrect version of SQL Server
SQL Server collation is not supported
Database is read-only

we formatted Database server and restored all the databases from the backup. but the sharepoint site is giving below error when i access the home page.

According to your post, my understanding is that you failed to access sharepoint site with one application server.
It was due to the MOM/SCOM Agent that has a SharePoint management pack installed, the agents Windows Service runs as ‘Local System’ and thus causes this.
The workaround is to either kill the SCOM agent service, or set it to run as a dedicated service account.
In addtion, I recommend to add the logon account of the SharePoint Timer service as a user of the SharePoint_Config database. Give role membership to the account db_owner.
You also need to add the SharePoint accounts back into sql server.

As I understand, you found event id 3351 in event log. Please collect more information as below：
Check if the error also occurs on other servers in your farm.
Check if backup job is scheduled at the time when the event id occurs.
Please run Config Wizard or psconfig.exe -cmd secureresources on all servers and test the issue again.

This is the error, if often find in my WFE's. I googled for the error and granted DB owner roles for the service account as specified in TechNet, but no luck.
Even same error logs generated on SharePoint logs.

BadriFor SharePoint to recognize the SQL server name we provide its name and instance while installing SharePoint. When we are using SQL alias to connect to SQL, we need to configure the same alias on SharePoint server so that SharePoint recognize alias over
the network.
Having SharePoint connect to a SQL Alias instead of the NetBIOS name is always a good idea. The main benefit is, if you ever have to switch the SQL Server or connect to a SQL Cluster VIP address, you just change the Alias to point to the SQL Cluster name
on the SharePoint Server and restart the SharePoint Timer Service and you are good to go.

Cancel System Error Messages from RWB
Hi All,
I have nearly 3000 messages those were got System Error in Integration Engine process, but when i check messages in SXMB_MONI all are success and written to target folders also.There is no problem absolutely.
Now i just want to cancel those System Error messages from RWB--Message Monitor to keep system green and do not want to see those system error messages again.
Iam not able to cancel those messages from RWM, it is saying that User and pwd incorrect but iam providing correct one only.
I went to details of that system error message from Message Monitor, i took message id and filtered with that in SXMB_MONI. i got the message with error state.Iam able to cancel that from MONI but not from RWB which is fine and disappearing from RWB list.
the thing is i can't copy each and every message id by opening details button for every message
How can i proceed for this. please advice me

For example iam able to see system error message in RWB--Message Monitor under Integration Engine at 9:30
when i execute SXMB_MONI for the same time and see, there is no error message for that able to see success.
When i took message id from RWB--message monitor and filter that in MONI means it is showing me the error message.
I can able to cancel it from MONI which is fine. but this way i have 3000 messages in RWB--Message monitor under IE.
How to copy and paste then filter those error messages in MONI???this is pain process to copy each and every one by one

I have the opportunity to teach a bunch of students at my school Flash. I am NOT a Flash programmer. I am/was a C/Unix and VB programmer. So, I have 4-5 months to LEARN everything I need to learn (of course, I will continue to learn while I am teaching but I will have more time now) by then. So, I started with the trial products.
I then looked at http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flex/testdrive/articles/1_build_a_flex_app.html
and it seems they are "assuming" a certain setup and knowledge.
1) They talked about a MYSQL database. So, does that mean I have to install MYSQL on my computer?
2) Then they talked about a webserver. Does that mean I need that installed too?

I really need more information about EACH project that is related to FLASH. What basic information do I need, what do I really need to learn this stuff quickly and easily?

I'm a law student and I use the preview app extensively for reading cases. I need more highlighter colors aside from those already provided and it seems that there's no possible way of adding/changing the colors.
Unlike Preview, the Adobe Reader application allows you to change PDF highlight (comment) text colors via a standard Apple color chooser. Click Tools on the Reader Toolbar, and then Comment. The second button in the Comment Annotation section is highlight text, and defaults to canary yellow.
Highlight the document text, and then two-finger tap/control-right-click that highlighted text. On the contextual menu, you will see Properties…. The properties panel has a color well set to yellow. Click this color well, and a standard Apple color chooser will appear that allows you more creative control over your highlight color. When you click a color in the color chooser, it is not automatically updated in the color well, which remains dark grey. When you quit the color chooser, the selected color is updated in this color well and in your document. The next text that you select to highlight will receive a default yellow highlight. -
How to retrieve error information from an exception handler?
I have an Embedded PL/SQL block in a Pro*C
application that uses something like the following to catch exceptions and fill a host variable with diagnostic information.
It then re-raises the exception so that
the global error handler specified with a
WHENEVER SQLERROR DO ... can log the error and determine the appropriate action.

According to all the Oracle docs this should work; but it does not. Re-Raising the exception within PL/SQL appears to negate the assignment of the string data to the host variable. When the global error handler runs, the host variable is empty.
The assignment works if the 'RAISE' is commenting out; but then the detailed Oracle exception data is lost, and the global error handler never gets an opportunity to run.
Does anyone know why re-raising the exception voids the assignment within the PL/SQL exception handler; and how to prevent this from happening?Have you tried getting the value from 'sqlerrm'? In PL/SQL this is a built-in placeholder for the ORA-xxxx code and message when trapping exceptions.

I need help getting information from my jsp into my servlet
i have a list box in my jsp and it is being populated with some beans that were processed in a servlet. here is the code for the list box in my jsp.

on this current jsp, when i click on a submit button i need to send some info, including which option in the list box is selected to a servlet. here is the code i have in my servlet in the doPost() method. what i'm trying to do is pass the choice that was selected from the list box to servlet below.

How to get more, accurate, information from BT re ...
I am getting confused and bored with BT Infinity.
I registered interest last year on the Infinity web-site. The only contact I had was a suggestion to get all the neighbours to sign up to “justify” BT putting in the fibre etc… Not heard a thing since.
When I renewed by BT broadband contract in December (Option 3), I was told by the sales agent that we would be getting double the line speed within six months (current speed is 2-2.5mb). I assume this was by BT putting in ADSL MAX.
On Thursday and Friday last week there were a number of BT Openreach vans parked at the end of our small close, and up and down the main road. I walked out and asked them what they were doing and they told me they were “putting in the fibre” and we should have Infinity within a month.
I realise that BT Broadband and Openreach are not the same company, one is retail and one is wholesale - but I am quite excited about the possible of faster speeds.
I have been on to the Infinity web-site and entered my details – it tells me Infinity is not in my area, but I will be able to have 6mb (ADSL MAX??) but December 2012.
If I look on SamKnows – it shows my exchange as being 1700 metres away, with BT FTTC enabled, 21CN from next week etc..
O2 and Talk Talk are both offering me double the BT speed NOW !! And Virgin have surveyed and offered much higher speeds.
I would not move to TalkTalk as another family member has not enjoyed best experience, but my son has been using Virgin broadband for two years and loves it. I have been with BT since 1990, so would prefer not to move

Need to remove information from Notification
Working with SSHR, there is notification that contains some additional information. Want to remove this additional information. This notification seems to be a Region. Find out region using functional administatior, statically there is no information on page about "Additional Informations" . This seems its going to add dynamically. Search in code of controllers , not able to get relevant code so that i can extend it .
