Need new Pre

need help with Pre. The external speaker does not work anymore. I tried to return to Sprint store for warranty. They no longer deal with Palm warranty issues. Palm wants me to mail it to them and wait atleast 10 business days for them to repair it if they can. i can pay $29.99 and have a $400 hold on my credit card for a temp replacement. im already on my 3rd Pre in less than a year. What kind of customer service is that ? this is an AWESOME os but the phone is crap. I was looking forward to the Feb. 9th announcement hoping for a phone as awesome as the os. im up for an early upgrade from Sprint Feb 1st I think im about to give up on Palm after 5yrs and get an EVO or EVO Shift.

Thanks for your reply.  I only have one email account running and it is checking mail every hour.  I adjusted that as instructed by palm.  I only use social networking once in a while and never leave the facebook app running.  I have only surfed the web on one occassion and briefly at that.  When at home I am using wifi via my wireless home router.  I had the smaller data plan and then upped tothe larger one the other day when I went over data usage for the third time in 2 weeks.  I had the same issue with the Galaxy s and returned it after 10 days.  It was also using data like crazy, but not as much as the palm.  I am thinking about how much money I would save on Sprint right now at 69.99 a month.  I am paying 145.00 for att service.  I've been a customer since Cingular days, but am considering walking away after just resigning a 2 yr contract.  I will be saving money in the long run if att won't help me.  I just spoke to the store manager.  He suggested swapping the phone out for a new one, says he doesn't have any other complaints.

    Thanks for prompt reply, yes we have tried that but have now closed down the browser we where the photos were.

    iMovie and GB must be purchased.
    If you have installed GB and iMovie on the iPad 1 and synced using iTunes, just sync the those apps to the newer iPad with iTunes. No re purchase necessary with the same iTunes account.

    You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
    Pages 5.2 is in your Applications folder.
    Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
    You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
    Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
    Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
    Older versions of Pages 5 can not open files from later versions of Pages 5.
    Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
    Anything that is saved to iCloud and opened in a newer version of Pages is also converted to Pages 5 files.
    All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
    Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
    Apple has removed almost 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

    Try removing and then reinstalling the Apple software using these instructions.
    Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7
    The above containes a link for XP. Also. make sure you install the correct Apple software, It comes in 32 and 64 bit and you need the one that is the same as the computer OS

  • Error message need newer version since Yosemity

    Since the OS X update on my Macbook Pro to Yosemity, I can't open many numbers files and get the 'need newer version to open' error message. I've updated everything to the latest version. There is only 1 numbers program in my programs directory, no older versions as long as I can see. Tried to open fromout Numbers and from Finder with the 'open with' function. Always the same error. Please help. Need to access my files.

    Updating to Numbers 3 (Yosemite) did not remove Numbers '09 from your machine.

    Need newer version of Numbers to open file

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We're users here and do not speak for "Apple Inc."
    Some basic printer troubleshooting steps before worrying about a printer driver:
    1. Have you tried turning the printer off and back on?
    2A. Is the printer attached with a cable?
         If yes, have you tried unplugging and re-plugging both ends of the printer cable?
         If that does not help, can you test the printer with another cable?
    2B. If your printer is not connected to the computer with a cable, have you tried restarting your printer (assuming wireless connection)?
         Have you tried restarting your wireless router?
    3. Have you tried restarting your MacBook? (Be sure to save your work first.)
    4. Does the printer have ink? (Doesn't usually generate a 'communications error' though)
    5. Have you updated OS X or the program you're trying to print from recently?

  • Why, Oh Why can't Verizon get me the new Pre???!!!!

    Why is it, that all the nice new smart phones end up getting a sweet deal to an exclusive network?  Verizon is the best and most reliable network in my geographical location, and I can't get the phone I want!!!
    I'm not degrading AT&T at all, I just want the new Pre, and just like NOT being able to try an I-Phone, I can't try the Pre!  
    I was a die-hard Palm Treo user for 5 yrs, until I finally heard that there wasn't going to be anymore Palm phones introduced, and two months later.....BAM, the new Pre gets introduced!  So, here I am, stuck using a windows mobile 6.1 piece of junk, and I'm frustrated!  What's a guy to do?

    i can take pictures off my phone but thats it, i have some nice programs for pictures and art work and cant get them back on my phone to send them to friends and family.     Send the table as an attachment, either a spreadsheet (if the recipient needs to be able to edit it) or a PDF.

    The camera problem when recording the video, i used to use touch to focus, but the when listen to the video the weird sound was produced while i focused on something..the screen has problem when looked at the dark pictures especially on grey colour...it was not the noises but it the screen problem..

    Have you installed any third party applications to account for the sound of the continuous auto focus (CAF) mechanism?
    You probably need to visit Nokia Care facility so that device can be reset to "factory settings" and completely re-install device software, before pointing towards hardware issue with camera module itself.

    A mailbox user can have only one managed folder mailbox policy applied. I recommend you remove the managed folder mailbox policy from this mailbox user and then apply a new managed folder mailbox policy to this user.
    To remove the managed folder mailbox policy from the mailbox user run the following PowerShell command:
