Hi. Nokia. I Buy Nokia 3710 Last week. There is few Bugs in This phone Like
1.) Waiting Call tone Not available.
2.) Draft Message not Saved.
3.) battery Life is too Short.
4.) When I set ringtone on level 5 but Not play on level 5 its start from 1 to 5 level.
5.) In Video Mode Flash Is not on. ETC.
Plz Fix all above bugs n create a software update for this phone. Thanks

Software updates for very old models can only be performed at nokia care points. It is not possible to do it yourself.
They will charge for this service because you are out of warranty. Give your nearest a call to find out the price.

When I want to get an app, an error message comes up saying I need 3.0 software update. How do I get my ipod updated in itunes, when itunes says my ipod is already updated?
OR if I cannot update to software 3.0, how can I find apps that will work just for my ipod touch?It sounds like you have a 1G iPod Touch, in which case you can only upgrade to iOS version 3.1. Here is a link to purchase the update.

Sorry..but being an S40 device, you need to visit Nokia Care if the phone doesn't start after you remove the battery for a couple of minutes, insert it back and try switching ON ... -

Telstra Nokia N95 software update?

I recently purchased an N95 from a Telstra shop on 15/05/08, tried to update my firmware, have the latest version of PC suite 6.86.93, the N series PC suite, and the software updater. I've been reading the news on the N95 and Nokia states it's at version 21++ for firmware, doing the *#0000# check my Telstra N95 us coming up with firmware 10.02.006
Ok so I'm thinking sure, newly bought phone, I just need to update my firmware but that apparently seems to be impossible, everytime I try a firmware update my N95 it's telling me it's on the latest software for that phone.
Browsing around forum posts it would appear that not all N95's were created equal, I'm thinking Telstra is selling the N95-3, what I would like to know, and emailing Nokia customer service has proven to be quite useless on this matter:
ie stock standard cut and paste answers without them investigating this particular N95 variant's lack of firmware support, or being proactive in their solutions.
The response I had from them is you have an N95, the N95 is on version 21 for the firmware, phone companies that sell those phones sometimes have to verify the firmware before it can be put on, here's a link to the software updater, that's all fine, that's all information I could find out on my own too, what i would have liked them to tell me is, what version of firmware has Telstra allowed this phone to be updated to or is this a generic N95-3 lack of firmware love problem and if it is Telstra then do they have a liaison who can tap on the shoulder and say, "hey you know we are way ahead with the updates on firmware, you might want to update things on your end and let our customers keep up with the latest firmware other N95 users out there have access to because this really isn't representing our product at it's best..."
Or if it's a lack of N95-3 support, then what's being done about it?

05:36 AMN80s, even with the latest firmware are bug ridden and reboot themselves from time to time. Nokia know about the bugs because they have fixed some of them in the N80IE firmware. I have no idea why they can't get their act together and release the fixed firmware for the N80 owners.. It's IDENTICAL hardware. Many people are "voiding their warranty" and converting N80 to N80IE versions. This is because Nokia will not sort it out "officially".

Help needed with Lion software update
I've upgraded from Snow Lepord to Lion. Downloaded Lion from app store which takes several hrs here in Aus. Installed Java then did software update, it gets stuck when almost installed at 'moving items into place' stage. Tried full combo also to no avail. Disk had some issues, repaired that reinstalled Lion - same problem. Any Ideas?
I got the following feedback from X-Rite support:
"please proceed as follows:
Go to MacHD/Library/LaunchDaemons and delete the file “com.aladdin.hasplmd.plist”. (You will need administrative rights.)
See if that eliminates the crash."
It worked for me.

Nokia E52 Software update says "Conncetion to Mobi...
Hi,
I have bought new Nokia E52.
The latest manufacture but the software version is old.
The software version in my phone is 34.001 and the latest available is 52.001.
I tried to update the phone software using the Nokia Software updater and OVI suite.
But while updating it is showing error as
"USB Connection to Mobile is lost.. Follow the steps... Disconnect from USB and Trun On off. Conncet to USB again".....
Actually i have not even touch the phone... I am not sure why this error is coming..
Even you disconnect the phone, the phone is blank.. so i need to remove battery to start it again...
I have tried this procedure again and again but not working...
Please help..

If it still doesn't seem to solve, turn off the phone and press *, 3, dial ( green ) and power key altogether till the phone turns on. Always backup before you perform these functions.

Hi Guys,
My problem with the updater is that it says current version 3.83 new version 6.01(so there is comms to my phone) it then downloads the 76 Mb file and then says updating software, Estimated time 15 minutes and then nothing happens thereafter. It is as if it has lost comms with the phone. Does anybody know what the problem may be.
Regardsremove all software components and reinstall new, make sure you remove all the drivers and reinstall both nokia pc suite and nokia software updater, reboot your system and try again and see if it makes any difference.

I'm running 10.4.11 and am unable to find the plugin updates that Firefox keeps telling me I need on an annoying little popup window that keeps coming up whenever I download a page using Firefox. The pluin updates I need are for Quicktime, Java to name a few. Is Apple not supplying any more plugin update because I'm using an old version of Mac OSX? The firefox plugin page tells me that Apple supppies their own plugins but I don't see any when I use Apple Software Update. Any suggestions?

Put tenfourfox.plugins in the search box and hit return
Click tenfourfox.plugins.enabled to set it to true

Well I just Bought My Nokia 5800 XM 3 Days Back And Updated to Firmware v50
In that time I was able to See Quick Office.
Today i noticed that the application is missing. So i tried to reinstall using nokia software updater.
It downloaded the latest Firmware. Then i got this Message
My Nokia is connected to back of my pc. So I am assured that it isn,t connected to any hub or keyboard docking station.
Also I tied to change the USB location. but none of the work.
So how shoul i Reinstall the Firmware??????And i Forgot one thing to mention that i updated the firmware from Nokia Care.
