What is the need of Availability check in Consignment stock Process

Hi Karthik,
Consignment is done in 4 steps.
1) Consignment fillup (send material to customer consignment)
2) Consignment issue (issue material from customer consignment to customer)
3) Consignmet return ( return material from customer ownership to customer consgnmnt)
4) Consignment pick up(pick up consignment stock and put this into ur plant).
You don't require avl check in all the steps
Consignment is a special stock booked for a customer.
1) Now during fill up ,u need to have availability check because u should know whether you have any special stock booked fro that customer or not.
2)During consignment issue also u should know whether you have any stock in ur consignment warehouse or not in order to issue to that particular customer.
3)During consignment return , u don't require any avl check because the goods are anyways coming to ur premises.
4)During pick up also there wud be avl check in order to show whether there are any quantities availble for pick up or not.

Hi Subbu,
It's indeed difficult to identify tables which are important in GL. You must be aware the basic object of GL is track all financial transactions (journals), for this you need an A/C, a calendar and a currency... Any tables associated with these activities are important for GL (Technically :) )... Some tables which hold key info on GL are as below...
GL_SETS_OF_BOOKS                 : This is the main table of GL which capture info about SOB of a business
GL_JE_BATCHES          : This table will provide info about Journal batches
GL_JE_HEADERS          : Provides info about Journal header
GL_JE_LINES          : Provides info about Journal lines
GL_BALANCES          : This will give you the current blance of an a/c
GL_CODE_COMBINATIONS     : This is used to capture all the GL code combination.. accounting segments
GL_DAILY_RATES                       : This table is useful when you use any currency other than your functional currency in trx.. this captures info abount conversion of rates betwqeen 2 currencies
GL_PERIODS : This provides status about a GL Period.. whether it is open or closes etc...
GL_JE_SOURCES & GL_JE_CATEGORIES : these tables used to capture journal sources info (Payables, inventory, receivable etc..) and journal category info...
You can use below query to get all tables of GL..

Disc space needed: 250Gb available

I'm sure there must be a post on this but I've not managed to find it.
Issue
I want to use boot camp to partition my drive for game playing and running an accounting programme in Win OS.
The standard HDD is 250Gb and I'm averaging around 200Gb used space: movies 46Gb, music 35Gb, TV 11Gb, being the major players.
Recommendations for Win OS partitions seem to be in the range of 60-80Gb. On top of that a recommended OSX free space of 30% which you could argue is another 80Gb.
Summary: 250Gb total space. About 130/200Gb used is user media files. 140Gb, say, required for OSX free and Win OS partition = approx. 200+140=340Gb required.
Solutions
1. I'd prefer not to use the Cloud as bandwidth is pathetic where I live.
2. I'd prefer not to buy a new HDD due to cost.
3. ?

I'm afraid that you're going to need to either buy a new internal drive with more space or buy an external drive and copy all of your document files (I'd say most of your user folder, seeing that you have so many videos and tunes) over to it.
My suggestion would be to buy both - if you don't have an external drive for a backup (at least one) you could be hosed if your internal HD dies.

I need to move my files from my imac to the cloud to free up my hard drive?

I have 1gb ram 320gb hard drive thats full what is the easiest way for a person to move files i.e. music, pics ...... to free up my hard drive and possible to expand the ram to 2gb?
I'am a novice at computers but want to learn.

Plug in an external hard drive and start moving things you don't need always available onto that hard drive.
To upgrade the RAM, go to Crucial, Other World Computing, or MemoryTen and use their configurator to determine the type of RAM you can use.

Need more free space

My kids are playing Sims 2 and occasionally the game will not load because the Imac says that we need more available free space. Does anyone know how to remedy this?
Also, would increasing the amount of Virtual Memory resolve this? If so, how do I do that?

The reference is to disk space not memory. Apparently your hard drive is too full. You either need to delete some data to make more free space or put in a larger hard drive or get an external drive and move some files from the internal drive to the external drive to free up space.
Virtual memory is under the control of the OS and expands or contracts as needed. There's no need for the user to modify the amount of VM.

Do I need to download drivers for an HP 8600 all in one printer after upgrading to Mavericks from Mountain Lion?

I am about to upgrade my Mac's OS from Mountain Lion to Mavericks. I recently networked to my Mac on our home wireless network an HP 8600 all in one printer/scanner and an HP LaserPro 127. I saw a note posted in a non-Apple forum stating that the Mavericks upgrade should include the drivers needed to run these products on Mavericks. Is that correct or will I need to download a new set of drivers from HP after I upgrade to Mavericks?
Any guidance would be appreciated.

I Need Scan/Fax Drivers for an OKI mc160

I have 13" alum. MacBook running OS X.6 and a new OKI mc160 Multifunction gizmo (a scream'in deal). The OKI print driver works well but OKI does not have scanner & fax drivers for my Mac/OS combo. Does any one know where I can find both scanner & fax driver(s) that will work? Help will be greatly appreciated.

Available qty of parent item

Hi experts,
On the print spec of the production order I am looking to insert the ''Available" qty of the parent item.\
This available qty appears on the item master data in the "inventory data" tab in the Available field....
How can I get this field of the parent item to show on the print layout?

No need to available it , you just need to use it using expression where ever it is possible.

To keep it Physically as you need you may need to create a new logical column Time Logical table in BMM and then use expression as repository variable and put that column in all subject areas

ITunes say 'No contact available' when trying to sync an iPod

Sorry if I do not use the exact english word (my MacOS is in French).
Trying to synchronise Calendar or Contact on my iPod through iTunes: when selecting the 'sync contacts' or 'sync calendar' checkboxes, I get the error message that 'No contact' or 'no calendar is available' offering to open Calendar or Contact where I've got several contact or calendars.
So I'm not able to synchronize them with my iPod.

To download and install an app you need space available on the iPod equal to about three time the file download size. For your app that mean you need about 1.5 GB available, much more that the 815 you said you have. You need to delete some items

Availability check during confirmation

Hi,
As per standard practice, it is always suggested to do availability check at the time of order create / release. However, still if your client is not willing for the same then set no availability check for material, capacity & PRT in OPJK & also in Material master MRP-3 Availability check you can put as no check (KP) case to case basis.
Also if you want to prevent errors in Goods movements at the time of confirmation then you need to maintain following config. setting :
GO to OPK4--> Select your Plant & Material -> Individual Entry General (Tab)--> Error Handling / logs ---> Maintain tick in check boxes Goods Movements & Termination of Incorrect Goods Movements.
However, this config. will work in case you use backflush for components & control key with Auto GR functionality. So that your GI, confirmation & GR all will be linked. System will prevent errors in GI & GR while confirmation with this config.

With FB for PHP Premium, do I still need a full featured PHP IDE?

My main project is PHP, with a small block of contents that need flex.
I have been with my old good PHP IDE for a while. After install FB, I see many of PHP IDE features that I need is available through an intergrated Eclipse.
So, I think, for the sake of everything in one place, maybe I will just use FB as my only IDE?
But on the net, I read many people talking about how to intergrate FB with this or that IDE, which makes me doubt -- What will I miss if I use FB alone without a full featured PHP IDE?
Any suggestion for me? Thanks!

WAAS Design Help Needed - URGENT!

I am currently designing and implementing a WAAS solution for s client in their Data Center. It is deployment of a single Accelerator and one CM.
It has been decided that the WAAS accelerator (7341) will have its two NICs connected to two of their core switches (both 6500). The two core switches have a Layer 3 Etherchannel link between them and are running OSPF for network convergence (i.e. Layer 2 connectivity is not used).
I am facing a problem in the design, since I know that the Active/Standby configuration for the accelerator would require a redundant gateway via HSRP (at least) but this is not possible in a routed environment in the core switches. Furthermore, I am to run WCCPv2 for redirection.
Therefore, I am confused as to how to proceed in such a case considering that I can only configure one default gateway on the accelerator when I need high availability on two different subnets.
Please assist at your earliest.

Do WAE is configured for Standby interface and is this your Primary Interface as well? If answer is yes then see below
You will need a common VLAN for WAAS on both 65K swicthes in order for Active / Standby interface to work properly.
1: When using OSPF make sure your tcp flows has both ingress and egress flows transit from same switch
2: Use Generic GRE method for Egress under WAAS intercept configuration.
Since you are running WCCP each swicth will be able to redirect its TCP traffic via GRE Tunnel to WAAS and WAAS will send the packet back to the same swicth. This will ensure packet path is not modified when WAAS / WCCP is introduced.
Also make sure that you do not have any WCCP redirect on Layer 3 connection between 2 swicthes. Let me know if this helps.

Purchased storage not available

I just purchased more iCloud storage (the 10GB plan) but it's still reading that I only have 5GB available. Do I have to activate this plan in some way?

There is a difference between iCloud storage and storage on your iPod. Purchasing iCloud storage does not give you more storage on your iPod.
To download and install an app the iPod needs storage available equal to about three times the file download size.
If you sync from your iTunes library less storage available is required.
Does the app/iPod meet this?
