Need Of Important Updates Required Asha 305

I loved the update of Nokia Asha 305 V7.42. But there are many missing features which are required.
Phone memory gets full and only remedy i find is deleting the messages and contacts or going to nokia care and reflashing it.
Removing of unwanted apps like " news and offers, taaza videos, music mania, nimbuzz, ebddy, weather, chat, nokia music store, EAgames, nokia life" they are useless so please i need to remove them and i guess this would create more phone memory .
Need for copy and paste option.
Playing Full screen video is not supported.
Please try to incorporate minimising of apps.
Also try to incorporate fastlane or show all notifications in the pull down settings.
Pull down settings to be available at all screens.
Please add the screen rotation settings to turn them on and off and if possible more functions to it.
I am also getting 404 error while checking for update via fota what is it for ?????
Please update this features in near updates.

The reason behind phone memory full is apps like Facebook,twitter,taaza videos etc as we use it they are become heavy in size and due to that phone memory is getting full.
I have solution for that
1.download the apps from store which you want to remove.
2.arrange them near to each other.
3.delet one which is showing option to delet
4.after that you can see delet option on the original app.
5.delet that app too.
Try it.
If you can't download apps from store then download it on other phone (same model) and copy it on your phone.

When applying this Update be advised that a clusterwide reboot is required.
This update must be installed on all machines in the cluster before the cluster is rebooted.

New update for asha 305

Nokia asha 305 which is next new version other that v.7.42 becouse it has hangout problem,very low quality video it does not play 3gp hq videos and mp4 videos , if i open the store application it gets erorr"application not found" and i reinstalled the sw then also same problem pls recover these problem in next update and when next update available .?

Strange. It might be for example just a server timeout (due to slow connection), but I'd like to check/verify, that there is not anything wrong with the update packages.
Can you tell me what is the product code of your device? It's the 7 digit code (usually in form: 059xxxx) that is printed on your device label sticker that you can see when you remove the device battery, below the IMEI number? Sometimes you can see the same code also by typing *#0010# (after "content:" field), but that's not always 100% reliable method. Once you let me know the code I will check the server logs for closer details on the case.
The 5.92 update is currently still only in progress of being published though. It will become eventually available also through Nokia Suite so if FOTA update keeps failing, that will be the alternative update method. Just stay tuned.

Need security code for my ASHA 305

i dint change my phone's security code and when i am trying to reset it its not accepting the default one 12345.Can you please help me in this issue asap.

Though not sure if this works but a few users on this Forum have posted that after leaving the Battery out for some 30 minutes when they tried again, the phone did not ask for the Security Code..so no harm trying this.
If this doesn't work you need to get the code reset to 12345 thru' Nokia Care . Need to produce a proof of ownership (Bill / Invoice) to get this done ..

Asha 305 - Nokia Maps app deleted

You seem to be making duplicate posts concerning this issue. It's not that simple as Nokia have been removing Nokia Maps application from devices without integral GPS chip as relying solely upon network triangulation for positioning is just too inaccurate, this may explain why it is now missing.

Required Update for Pattern lock nokia asha 305

Nokia asha 305 is not supporting pattern lock apps like maze lock.. (since it has a s40 os which will not support sis files). But can i get an update for my asha with in-built pattern lock like in androide.. i really loves to use pattern lock..
Why cant nokia introduce such locking methods?? thanks in advance...

Asha 305 update problem

I have download new software but it is not install in mobile due to less memory. So i delete all data from my phone memory it still need more space now what i can do help me.

Hi, I am using Nokia Asha 305. I installed latest phone software version 7.42. Total free phone memory is only 2.5MB. Whatsapp application also comes with this update which is 1.7MB. So, remaining free memory i get is only around 800KB and my phone is always insisting me to free phone memory space which is quite annoying. I can neither delete News and Offers, Notification apps nor move them to my memory card. It would be better for users if apps like Whatsapp can be used from memory card. I am expecting a new phone software for Nokia Asha 305 from Nokia which solves low phone memory problem. If this problem is not fixed soon, Nokia may lose its Asha 305 customers.

the FOTA update packages for the latest Asha 305 update were quite big (around 5 MB) and it takes some additional space on top of that to get the package installed to the phone. If there is a memory card inserted to the phone, the update package should get downloaded to memory If not, then phone memory is used for the whole process. Asha 305 does not have a lot of free phone memory even in fully clean state (~10 MB), so this can be a problem.
ways to work around this memory limitation:
* use a memory card in the phone - then the FOTA update package should get downloaded there instead of phone memory. If needed, you can also transfer pics, videos, user installed apps to the memory card to free up space.
* alternatively you can update the device with Nokia Suite on your PC. With that update method there's no similar memory limitation, so having a memory card is not necessary.
* If the above options do not work, as a "last resort" you could take the phone to a Nokia Care service for update/reflashing.

You need iTunes 11.1 which is not available for download in google chrome or other browsers. The only browser it has worked for with me is Safari. Hope this helps!

Actually, you cannot download Snow Leopard. You downloaded a Snow Leopard updater.
