ABAP dump in ECC 6.0 - Need OSS notes

ABAP dump is coming when retriving data between select-endselect.
Runtime Errors DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_CURSOR
Except. CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
The problem cannot be resolved without correcting the application
program.
The statements MESSAGE, COMMIT WORK, ROLLBACK WORK, CALL SCREEN,
BREAK-POINT, WAIT, CALL FUNCTION ... DESTINATION, CALL FUNCTION ...
STARTING NEW TASK, RECEIVE RESULTS, CALL SELECTION-SCREEN, CALL
DIALOG, CALL TRANSACTION cannot be used within a database
loop.
You can collect the data needed for these statements together in an
internal table and process them
in a loop.
If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
keywords:
"DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_CURSOR" "CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB"
Can you please give the OSS notes no. if anything is available.

GL open items report needs OSS Note

Hi All,
Report S_alr_87012282 is run at period end and year end to validate that A/P 21010000 is in balance against the open items report. For the 7th period (12/13/08) I could not run the report as it timed out. If you run this in the background there are 100,000 pages and you can not see the last page. I need a resolution for this report as accounting said I have to use to balance.
I tried in foreground and it still timed out. I recommended FS10N,Please provide the OSS for any performance improvement notes.

Hello everybody:
I need open clearing items to clearing with other items. For example in my job was issued a payment to a supplier, but was applied to the wrong invoice, for this reason I need to open this compensation payment and apply it to the right invoice, the Tx FBRA, tells me that I must cancel the payment, but the payment was delivered and collected by the supplier, so I can not avoid it and just need to open the clearing.

Need OSS note

Hi,
I am presently working on SAP ECC 6.0.
The script F_RFKQSU40_10 is not been updated with the latest version and some suitable OSS notes need to applied to update this form.
Right now in my client server i can see only 11 page windows. But in the latest version there are about 39 page windows were available.
please let me know the suitable OSS note to update the form. Thanks in advance.

You should check in client 000, right ?
standard scripts are available in 000, and to all other clients, if u need, you should do client copy.
check in client 000. maybe that one have the updated version. if that has, you can client copy it to ur client.

Implementing OSS Note with /SAP/ and /DEVPROG/ - Note 1117955

I am trying to post OSS Note 1117955 which contains a Z* module from SAP as well as multiple changes to SAP modules. This is asking me for a transport for the Z module using /DEVPROG/, but then the SAP module changes are asking for a /SAP/ transport. The Note seems locked on the 1st transport and will not allow me to create a 2nd transport for the SAP program pieces. Anyone run into this before?

Usually when you do a modification to standard code (which a note application basically is) it puts it under a task of type 'Repair'.
Whereas when you change Z-objects they will be put under a task of type 'Development/Correction'
Try the following:
Create a transport that you will use for the note application which contains two tasks: one for repair and one for development/corrections and try to apply the note again by linking it to your new transport.
- SE10
- Create
- Select Workbench
- Confirm
- put in a description
- confirm
- put the cursor on the request
- click on the add user button
- choose your own user name
- confirm (this will add a second task to your transport request)
- click on the first task
- menu request/task - change type
- Choose Repair
- Do the same for the second task and choose development

Need reference for basic tax Poland OSS note

Quick question. My company is going to configure our first site in Poland. Does anyone know what the basic OSS Note for currency and tax for Poland is? We havenot applied it yet and I need to look up the documentation to see what the base OSS for Poland includes.

Yes I saw that correction instruction..Do i need to create a program using that correction instruction or we need to install the package ...so that the mentioned program ZMBXKOKO will appear in the system...?
My question is if I Install the pacakage will i be able to see the program in my system instead of me creating the program on my own...?

How to retire/archive/status a released workbench transport for an OSS note

My Question: Is there a best practice for the "retiring" or "archiving" or "statusing" of released workbench transports for OSS notes that have been imported into the quality environment, but should never be imported into the production environment?
For example an OSS note is applied and imported into QS1, but then a CRT Hotpack is applied as an entire patch upgrade, so that the prior individual transport is no longer needed. Best Business practice indicates to not delete a released transport, but unless there is a way to permanently segregate them from the remaining legitimately viable transports, there is always a risk that the "stale" code could inadvertently slip through thus overwriting good code.

A lower OSS note dependent on higher OSS note

Hi All,
Our team is trying to implement a OSS note, say #12345 via txn SNOTE and noticed that it pops up asking to implement #22222. It triggers some thoughts among ourselves.
Is anyone able to advice why or under what sort of circumstances would a lower OSS note be dependent on a higher OSS note?
Shouldn't a OSS note only need OSS notes that are lower than it is to satisfy its pre-requisite?

Hi,
OSS notes are corrections/fixes found in the SAP service marketplace.
There are two ways to connect to the notes search system.
These are:
1. The <a href="https://websmp103.sap-ag.de/notes">Web Frontend</a> via your browser.
2. The SAPGUI for Windows frontend via transaction OSS1 in your SAP system. [must be preconfigured by your system administrators]
The notes contain instructions and in some cases code corrections. The code can be applied manually via the developer tools or via transaction SNOTE which will try to automatically step you through the application process.
Where the correction is complex and/or not a high priority it maybe that the code is delivered in a Support package and no "advance" code is provided. In this case you have to apply a collection of fixes together at once. This is usually done by your system administrators.

Once you have access to the snote transaction, you must get the needed OSS note into the transaction in some way. You can do this directly if you have an OSS link to SAP by using the download function, or you can download the OSS note using the SAP Download Manager and uploading the note into snote. Once the OSS note has been made known to snote in some manner, an entry line showing the note number and topic will appear on the main snote screen. There will be an icon to the left of each displayed line. In order to apply the OSS note in your SAP instance, the icon must show as a black arrow head on a blue background.

go to rsa1->transport connection->there is button 'object changeability'
here you can switch between changeable or not

OSS Note 1464524

Hello Everyone,
I tried to execute the program of OSS Note 1464524. In the instructions they have written that if you do not have Purchase req. then you can put "=" at selection screen but still this OSS Note is not working that way. I am not able to execute this program.

Thanks for the reply. Yes you are right the correct OSS note is 100409 and I want to delete the commitment line items without reference to purchase orders or purchase req. So I am trying to execute the program of this OSS note ZKAOIDE0 and in the documentation they have mentioned that if you do not have purchase req then you can put the "=" at the selection screen but the program is not executing.
We are using extended classic scenario.

You can implement an OSS note through transaction SNOTE.
Just download the OSS note from SNOTE and it will automatically be inserted in the standard code.
If you are not able to download the note check for the note correction given.
Implement the note correction in the standard program after getting access key.
