Need pavillion zv5000 power adapter model number?

A friend gave me an HP Pavillion ZV5000 laptop but he couldn't find the power adapter and the battery is dead.  I've searched online for power adapter specs but have found conflicting information... even on the HP support site.   If someone has a Pavillion ZV5000 could you please tell me the model number and output voltage of your adapter.  Is it 120W or 135W??  Thanks

Hi:
Here is the parts list for the zv5K:

All you need is an AC prong adapter and, if you can't find what you need on the web, you'll be able to find one in Russia for a small handful of rubles.

  • Need a reliable power adapter for travel

I am traveling to Russia in a few weeks and I need a good power adapter for my Mac Book Pro, iphone, and other small devices such as a shaver. I don't want to spend $40-50 on the Apple travel kit. Does anyone know of a good adapter kit or can lead me to a site. This is my first time in Europe and Russia and I will be there for 2 weeks and I plan to use my laptop, camcorder, and camera a ton.

Apple 5W USB Power Adapter Model A1400 is equal as the Model A1300?

Well, after checking Apples site, I think it should be OK. It appears to work for both devices.

    Recommendations where I should buy?
    Thank you!

For the united states, you need:

AC Smart pin slim power adapter (65-watt) - With Power Factor Correction (PFC) - Requires separate 3-wire AC power cord with C5 connector
If the power cord was also misplaced (plugs from wall outlet to the power brick):
    490371-001
    Power cord (Black) - 3-wire conductor, 18AWG, 1.8m (6.0ft) long - Has straight (F) C5 receptacle (North America)

Now that you have the part numbers, you can look elsewhere but I recommend you purchase a genuine HP adapter, because a cheap knock off can wreck the PC or worse.

  • Power Supply Model Number

My daughter somehow managed to wreck the power supply plug that came with her  HP 14-B031US Sleekbook laptop and she threw the power supply away. Can anybody supply me with the model number of your power supply so I know I'm going to get the correct replacement?
    Thank you.

    Hello,
I see that you're having an issue finding out what Power cord to purchase for your notebook.
You can go here to find out what part you will need to get to replace the power cord.
Also, if you want, you can just give me the product number of the notebook and I will find out both part #'s and also show you where to purchase the parts.
Here is a document showing you how to find the product number on the notebook.
Please let me know if you need anything else. I look forward to your response.

  • Power Adapter Part Number

Have a HP G63-355DX (HP Product #XH068UA#ABA) that is missing the AC Power Adapter to charge the unit. I have found the specifications listing for the unit, but not the HP part number or the HP spares part number. The adapter is a 65W, 18.5V and possibly PA-1650-02H is mentioned when I try searching.
Can you provide the HP part and Spares (typically ending in -001) for this unit?

    Hi,
You can officially use any of the following three references:

693711-001 Smart AC power adapter (65 watt) - Non-power factor correcting (NPFC) - Requires separate 3-wire AC power cord with C5 connector

  • E1000 Constant Resets Needed and Humming Power Adapter

Nearly every day, or recently more often, I need to restart my E1000 router.  I have a cable ISP, a wired connection to my desktop, a smartphone, Xbox 360 and laptop on wireless (although usually not at the same time).
What happens is that after some time, it will still show me connected to the router, but it will lose the connection to the Internet.  Unplugging the router and plugging it back in will restore the connection.  This has to be done at least daily, many times more often.
Possibly related to this issue is a humming power adapter.  It is a very low hum that of course goes away every time I unplug it or turn off the surge supressor.  It is possible that these two issues are related, as it may be sending too much/too little/fluctuating power to the router causing it o crash or lose the connection.
This may have been happening since I got the router, but I simply had not noticed it since up until recently I had always been plugged in to my UPS which I had turned off each day.  Had I noticed this, I would have returned it to the store.

I think you can try to reset the router and reconfigure the router. If you still face the same problem then it might be the issue with the power adapter then.

  • Need a Apple 45W plus  portable power adapter (Model A1007)

Need a 45W+ charger for an old ibook. Apple no longer provide such a charger so have been advised to search via a third party, can anyone help?

Hello goftosnr and welcome to Apple user discussions.
It will help if you can tell us more about your iBook. At
the top left of the screen select the apple and then from
the pull down menu select about this Mac. Select more
info and post back with processor speed and built in RAM,
the more info the better so please take time to post it all,
(copy&paste) except for the serial #. The Host doesn't
like that. Also from info please post which Mac OS you
are currently using. This will help other users that may have
a smilar question in the future.
If you can't power up your iBook post back and we will help
you find the serial# and can supply links to find out which
iBook model you have. It is possible that the G3 and G4
models use a 65W adapter now. The only 45W adapters (new)
that I have seen are for the MacBook Air.
Here is a discussion link just for info:

  • Is this power adapter ok for Macbook?

I'd like to get a second 60w magsafe power adapter for my Macbook Aluminum (bought Dec 2008). Here is what I'm looking at http://cgi.ebay.com/60W-AC-Power-Adapter-Charger-For-Apple-MacBook-MagsafeW0QQitemZ370224264486QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain0?hash=item563315f526. The power adapter model number matches mine (A1184). But I don't see my Macbook model number (A1278) listed in those on the page. The Macbooks listed seem to be older models.
The power adapter looks to be exactly the same as mine. Is there any reason I shouldn't buy it?

Thanks. How do you know it isn't original?
I'm trying to save about 40 bucks since originals on eBay are around $35 + shipping. Is it worth it or is new better?
Here they have the new adapter and the older (mine): http://store.apple.com/us/search?find=60wmagsafe+poweradapter&mco=Nzc1MjMwNg. If I get new, guess it is better to go with the newest of the new.
