Need Photoshop CS5.5

My company has purchased a Cloud membership but we find that, for various reasons, we need Photoshop CS5.5. At this point we cannot use CS6.0. Is there a way for this to happen?

I need Photoshop CS5.5 installer - where to download?

I am getting this: "One or more files in the Adobe Application Support folder, necessary for running Photoshop, are missing. Please run the Photoshop installer and re-install Photoshop." when I try to run my copy of PS5.5. Er... where do I find the installer? If you no longer have a access to your Creative Suite 5.5 install files then please follow the steps listed at http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs5-5-direct-download-links.html to download Photoshop CS5.1. Please make sure to follow the Very Important Instructions section prior to scrolling down and clicking on the download links.
I would also recommend making a back up of the installation files in case you need them again in the future.

ITunes Video Podcasts and Photoshop CS5 not playing together.

i just got a MBP with all the trimmings and have been having a problem since i got it.
As a photographer I need Photoshop CS5 and have installed it as normal on my new MBP.
Every time I am playing a video podcast from my iTunes library and let's say I open CS5 to work side by side with a video tutorial, strange things happen like everything becomes sluggish, CS5 might **** down, the video will start and stop, the screen will change into a pixelated color mess.. i could go on but i think you get the idea. Most times when this happens, which is every time I open the two programs, I need to end up doing a hard shutdown as the computer becomes un responsive.
Now I can work on CS5 alone or with Lightroom and I can watch a video or video podcast alone but when I open up the two they can't seem to play together, at all...
I have been on with Apple tech support for the past 10 days, and even re installed my OS on Friday. Applecare told me to re - install the OS and try each program one at a time to try to identify the issue. As soon as I installed CS5 this started again.
i don't know if it's Adobe or Mac... i have an appt with the Apple Store tomorrow but would love some help from you before I go so we can hopefully come up with an answer.
Bottom line, I just switched to a top of the line $2500 Mac laptop from being a PC.
I can get by without Mac but can't get by without CS5... I am really bummed with my new Mac but really want to make it work..

Two questions for video? Are they iPod compatible? iTunes should warn you if not. Where are you looking for the videos? Check under videos menu of iPod then video podcast menu.
With iPod plugged in, go to audiobooks tab. Is checkbox checked to include audiobooks?

Time Lapse in Photoshop CS5

Hi,
Any tips on how to import a sequence of still jpegs and convert to a video? Although Photoshop seems to go through all the motions to do this it doesn't work for me. I just get a video consisting of the first frame of my sequence although the duration seems correct as if Photoshop knows how long the video should be by the number of still images.
I'm opening an image sequence (selecting only the first file of my sequence). I'm then exporting using render video. Photoshop seems to go through the motions of rendering the video but, as I said above, every frame is the frame (the first image of the sequence).
Do I need Photoshop CS5 Extended to do this?

I have little experience with animation in Photoshop, but I don’t understand how are you assembling the images in one file.
And you make no mention of using the Animation Panel’s »Make Frames From Layers«.
You could check out »Chapter 16: Video and animation« in the Help to see which animation-features are Extended only.

In the details it is mentioned that it is an outdated version of Java.
Is this a security risk that i need to live with to get CS5 to run with Yosemite?

If you didn't have the opportunity to deactivate the installations then you should contact Adobe Support thru chat and ask them to reset your activations for all the serial numbers involved.

Make sure you are logged in to the Adobe site, have cookies enabled, clear your cookie cache. If it continues to fail try using a different browser.

Adobe Photoshop CS5 3D Menu missing, need solution ASAP

I recently made a 3D Wallpaper and when im gonna make one again the 3D menu is gone. I don't know if it is because of update or something, but when i searched for an answer or a solution in Google, i've found multiple comments regarding the license or the video card but i don't think both of that are the problem because like i said i just recently made a wallpaper using 3D. Your situation can happen if you had downloaded the PS CS5 trial (which is Extended) then activated it, finally, but had only purchased Standard, so the Extended features were deactivated.
A video card or memory issue would cause the 3D menu to gray out, but not disappear entirely. Not having extended, now, when you used to is more a licensing issue. Have you purchased PS CS5 Extended from Adobe? Licensing issues are best sorted out via a call to Adobe support, which can be a lesson in patience.

Need advice - "Adobe photoshop CS5 has stopped working" upon startup

Hi All,
Hopefully someone can assist me with this as this seems to be a fairly common problem.
Basically, upon starting up PS it comes up with the error message:
"Adobe Photoshop CS5 has stopped working..."
I'm just working off a surface pro 2 with 256gb ram, i5 processor (I think)
I’ve installed no new drivers of late and not undertaken any system changes that I can think of that would affect the program.
Funnily enough it’s the same problem across all the adobe suite e.g. illustrator and indesign both won’t start up (illustrator has the same message whereas indesign’s error message mentions that it requires a certain amount of free disk space).
Hopefully that is enough info. Please ask if there is anything else that you would need to know in order to ascertain the problem.

My scenario and history:
Windows Vista Ultimate and now Windows 7 Ultimate
NVidia Quadro Fx 4500 driving 4 monitors total SLi on or off - makes no difference. Drivers irrelevant.
2 x Xeon 5160 (so total 4 cores)
24Gb RAM
PS CS 4 or 5
4 monitors - - yep it is the 4 monitor thing.
Fails everytime as you describe.
Observation - If you Remote Desktop Connection onto the computer - and so in effect are using only ONE monitor - PS works fine.
A WORKAROUND for 4 or 5 - I don't consider this a fix because you lose some functionality but it gets you 99% there and is the same workaround for CS4 or 5
Go to<drive>:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64bit)\Plug-ins\Extensions\ (or CS4 - depending on version)
Locate File:
ScriptingSupport.8li
Disable this extension by renaming the file with a tilde in front of the file name. Thus:
~ScriptingSupport.8li
Start Photoshop - it works and is mainly functional.
The only real downside I have discovered is that disabling this scripting extension means you cannot use some of the built in scripts under FILE - SCRIPTS - the biggest PIA for me being the Contact Sheet builder no longer works. But as I now use Lightroom to create contact sheets - this is not a big loss. Other scripting functionality - I am sure is affected - but not to a point I find PS unusable.
ADOBE - if you read this - it has been that extesion now for the last two editions of PS.

Need help with a filter to use in Photoshop CS5

I am a novice so please be patient. Over the past 15 years or so I have been using a simple filter that I created in Filter Factory to do some analysis on aerial photographs. I am way behind on updates (currently using Photoshop CS (version 8)). I want to upgrade and am using a trial of CS5. After talking with customer support I've found there is no way to use this filter in CS5 and Filter Factory is no longer supported in the Photoshop suite. Can someone help me to create the same filter in Pixel Bender to use in Photoshop CS5? I will share the details of the filter if someone responds.

Is the result a one channel image? The Pixel Bender language currently supports one and two channel images, in addition to three and four channel images, but unfortunately the tools do not. You should be able to fake the one channel output by marking only a single channel of a three or four channel image. In any case, give the filter, below, a try. It may not do exactly what you want but it should get you most of the way there. You'll want to duplicate it and modify the arithmetic to satisfy the second filter algorithm once you've got the filter tuned to fit your needs.

I have moved my Photoshop CS5 to my traveling computer,a Surface Pro 3. I have photoshop loaded but in trying to look at raw images it says my camera raw does not support the sony alpha 65 which is what I have. I went out and tried to download the newest raw version and even went out and did a zipfile download and it will not update my current version. What should I do

If it's the same computer, same CPU and same HD, no de-activation or re-activation should be necessary.
Install from scratch and apply all updates manually.
Please do a forum search. I and others have repeatedly answered the question about failed updates of CS5 a whole bunch of times recently.
Bottom line: the Adobe auto updater is utterly useless in CS5 and prior versions. You need to download the updates and apply them manually yourself.
I and others have even supplied the links for Mac and Win, which you haven't even bothered to specify.
