1. Syntax for sendAndLoad is not correct.
You might want to review that and the example in the Docs

The syntax is correct however for the loadVars class.
2. The order for this is incorrect:
var bc_xml:XML = new XML(email);
var email:String =
"<email>[email protected]</email>";
You need to declare a variable before you use it, in this
case the email
variable is declared and initialized after you used it.
3. In PHP I use
$xmlRequest = file_get_contents("php://input");
Then you can use the xml parser in PHP or parse yourself or
use another
party's parser.

  • Help: Using XML to format Java output

    I built an application that uses an SQL DB (uses HSQLDB). Users are prompted to enter data via the keyboard to store in the tables.
    The users must be able to query the database as well, to see what is in the tables.
    My aim is to use XML to show the results of the query, so that it is formatted nicely.
    However, I am new to this and not sure how to start putting in the XML tags etc. I think I know which part of the code to modify. This is the part that does the displaying.

    Using DOM would probably be the easiest solution, though not fast enough for your problem, as many records might come out of the RS...
    So if performance is an issue, try producing XML with SAX (read the excellent Dr.Clap tips here: http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jsp?forum=34&thread=326617)
    Else use DOM: chapter 7 here: http://java.sun.com/webservices/docs/1.1/tutorial/doc/index.html

    I know how to read the file by elements (I'm using XMLLight) but now what I need to do is to modify the file without rewriting it from scratch. Say for example I want to change the "name" value in the file. How could I do it? Any code example would be most useful!!

  • Need some help using CSS Rules and Positioning Image Place Holders

    I need to get this done by tomorrow so some speedy help would be very much appreicated!
    I'm doing a website for an IT company, and as you may/may not know, support for XP and Office 2003 is dropped tomorrow - they want a button in the header of their site which basically says 'click here for upgrade advice' and when you click on it you're taken to a page telling you the benefits of upgrading. They want it to look like the mock up below:
    I've had a right old job even getting the button (it's in PNG format) to go above the BrownTech logo. I inserted a placeholder, linked it to the PNG file, and then I made a custom CSS rule/class called '.header_fltrt' to put the image in and position it in that place, directly above the BrownTech logo.
    To get the upgrade button in the desired position, here are the 'Box' CSS properties I used for the .header_fltrt CSS rule.
    It's worth noting that the dimensions for the header itself are 960x235px, and the BrownTech logo is the background image for the header class (and is 960x235 in dimensions).
    The problem I am having is that when I view the page in Design Mode in Dreamweaver, it looks fine, but when I view it in Live View or in a web browser, it looks like this:
    As you can see, the upgrade button is not even visible!
    Furthermore, when I go back into design mode on Dw, when I click on the upgrade button, I don't get any placeholder properties like I do when I click on green logo in the top left (which by the way is just a link back to the index page).
    I'm not sure why this is but I cannot find any way to resolve it. I've even tried putting the BrownTech logo on a transparent background thinking that the block white background may be covering the upgrade button, but that's not the case.
    Sorry if I haven't explained it very clearly. Hopefully you can see my problem.
    Any help in etting the upgrade button to preview in the correct place would be very much appreciated!

  • Need some help using BootCamp on MacBook Pro 2011

    Hello,
    I have just bought a CD which is not compatible with MacBook's, and can only use Windows operating system. I have been direceted to use the BootCamp application, when I load the app, it comes up with two options, to download something or buy Windows 7, which I dont have, therefore I chose the first option. I was told to put in a USB drive in, which I have done, and a load of files have been downloaded to my USB drive, but what do I do next?

    As you are using OS X Mountain Lion and looking at the MacBook Pro you are using, you can install a 64-bit Windows 7 or 8 version, but you can't use Windows XP or Windows Vista. If you haven't got Windows yet, buy Windows 7 on a DVD in Amazon or eBay, or Windows 8 from the Microsoft Store or Amazon (make sure that you buy it on a DVD).
    What you have downloaded to your USB drive are the Boot Camp drivers. Those drivers are for all the hardware of your Mac, because Windows doesn't detect everything, so you need those drivers to run Windows properly and get the maximum performance of the MacBook Pro. You have to install them just after installing Windows.

  • Need Urgent Help : Using VIVADO Design Suite for PCI Express 3.0, 8 lane, and AXI Interfaces for Video Processing

    My scenario is as follows :-
    1) I am building a Image Processing Application and using VIVADO HLS for that.
    2) I have synthesized my design using VIVADO HLS, and export it as IP-XACT format.
    3) I have imported it in VIVADO Design Suite, and added to the IP catalog, in a new project created.
    4) Since I am building an image processing pipeline, I am using AXI Stream interfaces, 1 input stream, and 1 output stream, and mentioned that in the HLS tool itself..
    5) I have a Virtex 7 690T FPGA, and have accordingly chosen the board throughout the HLS process, and the project.
    6) We want to use a PCI Express 3.0, through DMA access to the CPU.
    7) Now I am stuck here regarding how to proceed forward, I have gone through most of the Xilinx documentation, but am still not clear about what to do from here on.
    8) There are these 3 variables for me, AXI Stream Interface, DMA, PCI Express 3.0, all I have right now is the IP of the Image Processing pipeline that I generated through VIVADO HLS.
    9) Also at a later stage we would like to stream in Video, and process it through our image processing pipeline.
    Please help me with an overview of steps that I need to follow to get my design together and working on a real FPGA hardware with my Computer(windows OS), as in what Xilinx IP blocks do I need to use, how will I be able to exploit the maximum bandwidth from the PCI Express Interface in my specific case of send image through a stream, what tools will I need to use at every stage.
    I would be highly grateful if you guys can help me, we have a dealine to meet.
    Please let me know if we need any extra information.

  • Help using XML as Dictionary key

    I'm not quite understanding the key in Dictionaries. I thought if the same key was passed twice it would still only create one pair in the dictionary. Can anyone explain this to me?
    With a key of a string or number it seems to work as I would expect, but the XML as key doesn't seem to work. The line in there that changes the title was just to check if the XML was being passed as a reference or value. It is a reference. So it seems like the dictionary should know the key is the same. Why doesn't it?
    I'm trying to create an index of the content in some XML Nodes and want to be sure that various nodes don't get added to the index more than once. I also My thinking was to use the XML node itself as as the key. It is the only thing I have in the data that is for sure unique. Is there a way to do what I want to do?

    I'm trying to make a (forward) index of some properties of each node in an XML—total word count, frequency of each word, etc. So later when my reverse index returns several XMLs I can quickly look up those data and compute a tf-idf for relevance ranking.
    I'm thinking the conversion toString() will slow the whole thing down? I'll give it a look-see.

    i have a button, this button shows a blank box, this blank box its "linked" to the html video code....this way it works fine, runs the video and do it everything ok... but html video code shows diferent video player skins in all browsers... so i want to use the same custom skin in all browsers, tablets and phones.

    My Flash app uses XML.sendAndLoad() to communicate with a
    Java Servlet on the same domain, in the same webapp.
    2. What happens when I run it on my (developer) machine
    It works.
    I connect to a url "

    perfectly and pass around XML between Flash and Java
    3. What Happens on the Real Machine
    The Real Machines equivalent URL is
    http://int-tzn:8101/webapp1/servlet/FlashServlet
    The XML.sendAndLoad() cannot connect, with a "Error Opening
    URL" error.
    4. What I've Tried
    4.1. Using a
    crossdomain.xml on Real Machine

    OK the deal is:
    When using TLF, a user visiting your webpage will download the TLF's SWZ file, if the user already has that file it will be downloaded from the adobe site, if the adobe site is down then it will search the .swz from where the website is hosted on.

  • Help Using Labview to control Kikusui power supply with a PIA4850 controller

    HI I need some help using Labview to control 4 Kikusui power supplies. We have a PIA4850 Kikusui power supply controller. I can use the visa test panel and see the PIA4850 but can see any of the power supplies. I have very limited use of Labview and only wrote a couple programs using GPIB. The PIA4850 is a USB controller and can control up to 32 PS. I can get it to work with a Excel demo software that came with the controllers so I know that it is working. Any help will be appreciated. I am using LabView 8.2 and have updated to the Ni-DAQ 9.0. I have a program that I need to incorporate the PIA4850 into once I figure out how to operate it. Thanks in advance.

    HI and thanks for the help. I did get one power supply to work but have another problem. I need to control 4 power supplies at the same time and can only operate the one that is addressed N5!C1. If I set the other to N6!C1 and so on I get an error stating
     “Error -1074135008 occurred at ki4800_2 Configure Voltage Level.vi Possible reason(s):IVI Error in the method "get_Item" in the component "Kikusui4800". E_IVI_UNKNOWN_CHANNEL_NAME: Unknown channel name (N6!C1)”
      I am assuming that I should be able to change the node number and that will change the supply that I need to use. Everything works great if I use N5!C1 I can change any of the supplies to address 5 and can control it with no problem. I can even have multiple supplies with the same address N5!C1 (don’t think I should do that) and change them all at once. I need independent control of each supply.
      I am in a pinch here and need to figure it out but could use some help. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

    I would like to find the rolling average of each value of the second column over a range of +\- 20% of the first column...which means for example:  at 5.004882813 (freq) I have a PSD of 0.002682703.  I would then take find the +\- 20% of 5.004882813....which is 4.00390625 and 6.005859375.  I would then take the average of the PSD's over that range (from 0.00191024 to 0.00038013) which would give me a PSD of 0.017240039.  Do this for each PSD value. For the front and back end of the file, if there is less 20% available....say at 0 (freq) you can only take the +20% because there is no -20%...just take that. ....Hope that makes sense..
