Need Planning Material field (FDGRV) from ECC LFB1 table

Hello,
I am creating freight separation reports and have run into problem. Initial specs were to differentiate freight vendors by using different vendor party. Purchasing dept had determined that all freight vendors would we within a set range. Now in testing, it has been uncovered that sometimes another vendor will be used which is not within that range. Users have now confirmed that I could use the planning group field - FDGRV - from table LFB1.
Data model - multiprovider is in place. Using 2LIS_06_INV - Invoice Cube and Custom DSO of purchasing budgeted data.
I know that I could enhance the 2LIS_06_INV datasource and bring in Planning Group - FDGRV - from LFB1 table.
Another consultant suggested the idea of bringing it in as an attribute to the different vendor party field?
Can anyone help walk me through these steps? I am not experienced with this method.

Material Group Replication from ECC

Dear SRMers,
System Landscape : ECC 6.0 and SRM 5.0.
I am doing a material group replication from ECC to SRM using the DNL_CUST_PROD1 customizing object. Before the replication ECC was trying to confirm the target RFC destination(SRM) by prompting a logon. I logged in as myself and the system gave a CALL_FUNCTION_OPEN_ERROR.
I defined the CRM Consumer as SRM in the CRM middleware parameters..
My question is do we need to define the User SRM in SU01 and when ECC tries to confirm the target RFC destination, do we need to login as the SRM User ?

Hi,
The RFC user which you define in the SRM RFC detsination has to be obviously as SU01 user in SRM.Also the RFC user need to have SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW profile attached.See note 642202 for details.

Material PR transfer from ECC to SRM without Account Assignment

Hello,
When a material PR without account assignment is transferred to SRM. The scenario is determined as direct procurement and system will behave in extended classic scenario.
I would need the PO to be posted in backend ie Classic scenario.
We are in SRM 7.0 using SOA PR transfer from ECC EHP 4 system.
I believe there is consulting note available for this scenario. If any body has the note number please share it.

Symptom
While running Materials Replenishment Planning (MRP) purchase requisitions (PR) will be created in SAP ERP (e.g. after creating a Planned Order in MD10).
Before SAP SRM 7.0 these requisition got the field EPROFILE assigned which enabled the system to extract the PR document to SAP SRM by using report BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER. As of SAP SRM 7.0 and SAP ERP 6.04 you configured Business Add-In ME_REQ_SOURCING_CUST to trigger SOA message PurchaseRequestERPSourcingRequest_Out.
After running MRP you notice that no sourcing request SOA message got generated.

Due to complexity it is not possible to provide a SAP core correction. However PP-MRP application provides a BAdI interface that gives the possiblity to trigger this functionality of external sourcing.
If you need to use the external sourcing with SAP MRP create a new implementation for BAdI MD_PURREQ_POST and inherite from the class provided in attached correction instruction.

1.Defining Product ID Settings -COMCPRFORMAT
Cross-Application Components  SAP Products  Basic Settings  Define Output Format and Storage Form of Product Ids
This activity describes how to synchronize the product Ids in the CRM system and the R/3 system.
The material master length is R/3 is defined in transaction code OMSL and is set to 18. (also check note no. 545824)
2.Make sure that CRM item categories and R/3 item categories are the same.
In CRM, item categories and item category groups are seen via
Customer Relationship Management  Transactions  Basic Settings
3.Selecting specific objects for replication : R3AC1
Use adapter object MATERIAL
Use filter settings tab and specify the material or a range of products you want to download .Use atble name MARA,field MATNR use an approriate operator and mention theproduct you want to downlaod.
4.Replicate Materials : R3AS
mention the adaptor object Material and execute

Create new entries with Field name BSEG-MATNR.

How to retrieve a column field value from an ADF table ?

All,
I have a backing bean where I have bounded a field of an ADF table.
I would like, in the bean, to read the value of that field so that I can use it inside a task flow router.
The question: how to read a value from a ADF table column field ?
In the bean I have the getter and setter of the RichInputText ADF table field. But when I type:
System.out.println("the name is: " + this.getName().getValue());
or
System.out.println("the name is: " + this.Name().getValue());
I get a null pointer exception.

I need to get the value contained in a row cell of an ADF table.
Let's say the table (two rows, three cells) contains these values:
"table_A", "123", "John"
"table_B", "456", "Peter"
When I click on the first row, I need the value: "table_A". Once I got that value, I extract the last char, in this case: "A", and then I call a specific task flow from a task flow router (specified in the task flow router Cases property).
When I click on the second row, the same process applies, only the router now points to another flow view.
So to summarize, I need to get the value of a row cell in an ADF table. How to do that from within a javaBean in JDeveloper 11g Release 2 ?
This is what I have in the bean; so far I've bounded the related row cell (herkunft) to the bean. Each time I select a row on the ADF table, the function setHerkunft() runs - I see that from within the JDeveloper console - but when I try to get its value, I get a null value - hence the surrounding if statement.

Need suggestion to get data from change log table of ODS.

There is a case where i am loading opportunity header data from header ODS and opportunity item data from item ODS in the opportunity cube.
Status (1= OPEN, 2= WON ETC) of the opportunity are available only in header ODS and not in item ODS.
While loading data from header ODS to cube, I am loading it directly but while loading data from item ODS to cube i am using active data table of header ODS as a lookup in the update rule from item ODS to cube. I am selecting status from the active data table of header ODS while loading data from item ODS to cube.
Since active data table will have only after image records, there is some data mismatch in the report as i am selecting data from active data table of header ODS while loading data from item ODS to cube.
I need to select data from Change log in order to get before image also instead of active data table in order to overcome this issue. Is there any way by which i can do selection from Change log instead of active data table as change logs are generated at run time.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.

Hi,
You can use the changelog table of the DSO.
Right click manage the Header DSO, go to the contents tab and click Change Log table. There you can see the technical name of the Change Log table.
In the update rule Routine, give the tech name of Change log table instead of Active table name.

Help needed to get unique record from an internal table

Hi Everybody,
I have to get unique record from an internal table. i know we can use read statement with key condition .
But the problem is i have to use some relational operators like GE or LE.
eg
read table itab into wa with key width GE itab-widthfrom
                                                   width LE itab-widthto
                                                   machno eq itab-machno.
Its giving me error when I use the operators GE , LE.( I think since it can't find a unique record with those relational
operators in the with key statement)
Is there any other way to get unique record from internal table without using the loop?

Using the read statement you will need some kind of loop. For example.
DO.
READ TABLE......
WITH KEY ......

EXIT.
ENDIF

Transfer field Value from ECC to APO

I want to transfer a field from material master to APO. For this i am, using a CIF user exit... The field is not available in the ECC side (EXIT_SAPLCMAT_001), but i found a user exit on APO which has this field (EXIT_SAPMMDUSER_005) which i m not sure if it is called.. please help...

Need a Material Master Report from R/3

Dear Experts,
Thank you experts for your valuable suggestions.
Now the requirement has come like,
The client need a report from R/.3 which will hold MATERIAL, Base Unit Of Measurement (BUoM) , NET WEIGHT,GROSS WEIGHT, MATERIAL GROUP. These 5 field should be there in the report.
And I am able to make a report on this from Sales Cube ( ZSD_C03 ),which is readily available, But client need a separate DATA SOURCE which will hold this character. I need to make a new flow from R/3 to BW with all Transfer Rule, Update Rule, CUBE/ODS ( DATA TARGET).
So kindly suggest me in Generating a Customized Data source and Doing all the activities for the above requirement.

I am still not convinced as to why would the client want to go for a report thats going to be redundant. As consultant, you should explain them that why its unnecessary.
Still if its a requirement, you have to create first a view based on MARA table. Include the fields in this view from MARA that you want in your datasource. If you want a generic delta datasource, then you would have to include an extra field in your view i.e. Created on
Save it and activate it. Next, check in contents of this view, whether you can see the data in it.
If thats working fine, go to RSO2 and create the datasource (Master data datasource). Select Based on database table/ view.
Give your view name and save it. On next screen, select the fields that you want to keep for selection conditions. For delta, click on generic delta button. Here, give the created on field. This would ensure that deltas are based on created on date.
Next, you have to replicate the datasource in BW. Based on your requirement, you may decide whether you want to have ODS or Infoobject as datatarget. Then, created transfer rules by doing mapping. Once everything is done, create infopackage for Init delta load. Carry out Init-with datatransfer.
In this way, every day, you would be able to fetch the deltas for previous date.

Need help adding field data from a table to a text box

I have a form that has a table. Within the table is a description box. The user enters data into the box and can add/remove new items. When they are done I would like the text from these fields to be concatenated into a large text box. Essentially what they are doing is creating a list of descriptions that will be pushed into a report field.

Yes, you should be able to adapt the example to work for the main summary textfield.
I would place the script in the exit event of the table textfields. You would still need to clear the summary textfield and then loop through the table and update.
Inside the loop the text would be like:

In the standard process of replicating materials from an SAP ECC system to SRM, is the purchase order text tab in MM03 replicated to SRM?
I've tried searcing for this text in SRM but I guess it is not replicated.

Generally speaking, product longtexts are not automatically replicated to SRM via MW.
The filters of text headers and text lines are not taken into consideration.
-- In case in transaction R3AC1 object MATERIAL has inactive filters for tables STXH and STXL, please remove flags and synchronize the filters.
-- In the backend table CRMOBJTAB still shows inactive entries for both tables.
-- Check the notes no. 555520 and 839995. Please apply and follow the instructions given in the longtext.
Now the filters should work and the basic longtext should get replicated.

In my internal table I am having data.
I am dynamically forming table field name and substitute for the another table field name to pass DATA.
but I am getting the Variable name insted of Value ie Data.
I am using Field Symbol for this.

ALL_VAL-VALUE = <TS>
   " Put a break point here and check for the value in <TS>.
if <TS> contains value then create a work area for ALL_VAL AND PASS the Field-Symbol to that and then append thw wa into the table...

I know it appears odd that Table B would have two entries for the same Asset (CTUT111), but it does.
I know I could write a SQL query that gave me the MAX(CheckIn_Date), but I’m not staging these datasets in a SQL server first.
I’m pulling directly from CSV tables.
I don’t want to have bridge tables either, if possible.
So, I’m left with a many-to-many situation in Power Pivot.
I want to add a Calculated Column to Table A, called ‘Latest CheckIn Date’ – which I get from Table B, matching on Serial Number.
So, when I’m done, I would expect the value for Asset=CTUT111 to be 6/20/2014 (since it’s the MAX of a value of dates)
I’m trying this pattern from Marco Russo in which you don’t need to relate two tables to exchange information, but it doesn’t appear to be working.
