Need Repair Instruction For 945GCM7-L

Hello,
I have a mainboard of MSI model no. is - 945GCM7-L . Two day ago - I had changed the JBAT1 jumper pin to 2+3 position for Bios Resetting . But Accidently - I forgot to reset those pin to 1+2 position and Power on the PC . Since then - when I power Off the AC lines, The bios goes to it's default value . That means - Battery line to Bios Chip voltage supply has broken down due to my improper JBAT1 jumper settings . I have changed the battery with a new one and my mainboard warranty has expired .
Now how can I repair it ? I mean - how can I supply voltage from battery to Bios chip when AC power in Off condition ?? Is there any idea guys to repair it ...........

A time machine backup that was encrypted cannot be opened without the password.. there is no backdoor.. if you lost the password the backup is useless.
If you mean something else.. try being explicit as to what backup you need a password for and how you think we would know it.

Need disassembly instructions for lid/glass plate of Photosmart 5520 printer to remove dead ants

I have ants under the glass of my printer. The ants got very excited and freaked out when I pressed the copy button and the light bar turned on! The ants are dead now as I placed the printer in the freezer for several days in a sealed bag. Now I need a disassembly procedure allowing me to just gain access to the area under the glass plate so I can remove all the dead ants and pupa before they attract any new ants or fungi. I am good at taking apart basic electronic products but I would rather have a step-by-step disassembly precedure if available. The online PDF disassembly instructions for recyclers didn't help because of lack of detail. Of course, I would also like to be able to put it back together in working order. I could just leave the ants to mummify if field disassembly is not a good idea.

Volume needs repair message for second hard drive

I am getting the following message on my second hard drive (This hard drive just has data. OS is on the main HD)
Verifying volume “Mac Second HD”
Invalid Volume Header
Checking HFS Plus volume.
Invalid number of allocation blocks
The volume needs to be repaired.
Error: The underlying task reported failure on exit
1 HFS volume checked
Volume needs repair
Any advice on what to do? Can I save my data?

Welcome to the Discussions.
If Disk Utility can't repair it try DiskWarrior. It can repair most drive directory problems.

Need install instructions for weblogic on 2008 64bit

Trying to install weblogic 10.1.3.3 on windows 2008 R2 64bit (xeon processor) using Sun JDK 64bit
windows exe installer finished the install without issue, but then the weblogic would not start.. prompts for userID and crashes before prompting for password..
I read somewhere that for sun jdk 64bit you should use the generic jar installer instead of the windows installer..
so I tried it and java -jar installer.jar gives an error that it expecting the path to something

Unfortunately, you will not find any repair manuals on the Toshiba website. Only the Toshiba service partners have such documents and have possibility to use notebook manuals.
As far as I know the drive is secured with a screw which is placed at the bottom of the unit and under the keyboard.
After removing of these two screws you can disconnect an optical drive from the connector on the system board.
But without any experience you should remove any drives. I think you should ask the Toshiba service to help you because he has more experience in such cases

I have several old FCE2 instructions for keyframe motion instructions but none work to give me zoom + motion of an image. Can anyone direct me to such instructions for FCE4??

after a hd-crash i have to install XP on my A30. I cant find the recovery-cd so i bought a new version of XP pro.
Unfortunately i'm not able to find any installation instructions for my modell :(
Only drivers and utilities could be downloaded...
Has anyone experience in insttalling in the right order...i know that toshiba only likes it in their right way ;)

Well, the driver installation is very easy.
After successful installation of the Win XP OS in this notebook download all available Toshiba drivers and MS QFEs and install it.
The right installation order would be advisable but its not a bible. So you could try your own install order.
I would recommend installing the chipset utility after the installation of all QFEs from Toshiba page.

I need simple instructions for setting up hosted home directory

Folks, I am just learning how to use OS X server (10.3.9) in our office. The manuals aren't totally clear.
We have a lot of interns that work on shared documents on several machines. I want them to be able to login into an account on the server (where the shared files will be) and work on them that way.
I am not quite sure how to do this. The server is already set up. I set up a LDAPv3 domain (not sure why I needed to - just following the manual instructions.
Things I don't understand:
- why did I need to setup another domain directory (per the manual's instructions). The local one does show up on our LAN even though workgroup manager says it's not visible to the network. Everyone can see the sharepoint I've created.
- I can't seem to do anything with the Access Control List. I can't put anyone in it.

the LDaPv3 is so that if someone isn't on the local subnet of the server they can access their user account. By having a specific directroy domain you can have an address that can be access from anywhere on the network.
It is also there so you can be able to create indivudual user accounts to have the ablitly for users to login to multiple machines and have there home folder located on the server. This allows users to not be restricted to a specific machine but still have access to all their files.
to have the hosted home directories you first need to create a location to have the home directories... then enable sharing on that location. this can be done in the workgroup manager under sharing. Make sure under the "network mounting" you enable use for home directories. Once that is created and set up you will now be able to choose that location for users home directories under "home" in the accounts section.
I don't have much experience using the ACLs sorry... basically for a share folder i make a folder, enable sharing on it in workgroup manager, mount the folder and then drag it to the login items for that group that i want to use that folder. that way when a particular user of that group logs in the share folder will mount and they can have access to the folder with out having to login to the server.
I hope that helps a little and didn't confuse you more... i am still new myself but i have had to set up the individual users and share folders.
ALSO: when having users work with the shared documents... make sure they are coping the files to there local user then copy back when they are done... this will help avoid potential issues with files being opened by multiple people and chances of file corruption.

Fact is that such manuals are not for public usage; just for the Toshiba authorized service providers.
So if you need a help you should contact the ASP in your country.

I need simple instructions for backing up

I have an iMac running 10.7.4.
I have 4GB of memory
I have a T back up disk, which is set up to automatically back up each night.
I have not been able to back up now for over a week as it says I don't have enough room,
"this backup is too large for the bu disk. Reqires 400.74 but only has 368.52 GB avail.
How can I find out what files are designated by the Yellow bar? The yellow bar is showing 400 GB of OTHER.
I work with PSE and moved all the PSD files over to the external drive (which really wasn't a lot of GB). I thought it would be more and would free up a lot of space so I could back up. So, I really don't know where to go from here. I'm self taught with no one to ask ??. I tried to search on the board here but was too confused.
Would appreciate help.

Deleting data on your computer does not free up space on the backup drive. You would need to use the Time Machine application (in your Dock) to delete files from the backup.
Erasing the backup drive will not do anything to the main hard drive. But it will remove all your old backups. If that's not a desired result, then you can put this backup drive in storage, get a larger backup drive, and let Time Machine do a fresh backup on the new, larger backup drive.
Time Machine will automatically backup all mounted disk drives unless they have been specifically excluded in Time Machine preferences. It's quite possible that Time Machine backed up this other external drive while it was connected.

I've reviewed another thread that said this was possible. Indeed it looked like it was. In RAD 7.5, I go to Help -> Software Updates... Click the tab for Available Software, click the button for Add Site... Click the button for Local... and go to my C:\Program Files\Adobe\Flex Builder 4 Plug-in

Problem is that Maintenance Manuals is not public document and you will not be able to find it anywhere.
What you can do is to use Google and search if you will be able to find some page with disassembling description.
Have you Googled around already?
