Need response super quick!
Hi all I am just sending my phone back to UPS to they can send it to a Nokia repair centre, but I have no idea what to put on the front of the envelope, I havent been told what the address it.
I live in the surrey area, KT22 and I beleive that they are picking this up today and im still sitting here without an address!!

Error at the end of Archive and Install; Need Quicktime reinstall quickly!
I got all the way through an Archive and Install and at the very end it said there was an error in the process. Everytime I do it, same thing.
I'm trying to reinstall Quicktime 6 because I've read Final Cut Pro 4 doesn't work well with QT 7—I downloaded it recently. FPC performance has been horrible ever since!
I followed the easy step by step process Apple provides for Archive and Install but it doesn't work in the end. I'm trying to reinstall Quicktime 6. Currently working with 10.3.9. My original disks are 10.3.
I'm running off the original disks; don't know why it won't do it.

I'd had no response within a few hours so I had to force the Powerbook to shut down. On rebooting, it only got as far as the Apple logo and the progress wheel. I left it for half an hour and it got no further. I reset the PRAM again (I'd already done it before the actions detailed in the original post). Nothing. I tried again to Safe Boot. Nothing - not even the login screen.
I then tried to re-install OS X 10.5 - this time the option to 'update' was available which I did. It automatically restarted but still would not proceed beyond the Apple logo and progress wheel.
That's how things stand now. I have given up for the day but I can't think of any other course of action apart from a complete erase and install but that would be far to drastic because unfortunately, despite my insistence last time there were problems, nothing has been backed up.
Incidentally, I tried to boot in target mode to recover their account folder - the disk mounted on my MacBook Pro but when I tried to open it, my Finder crashed. -
I don't know what i need. I'am a mac user but i need to run quick books premier. This is the only software i need in windows . Could i have some advise in what is better for me, Bootcamp or Parallels
The Intuit rep said they don't "support" QuickbooksPremier on a "virtual machine." Do you know what I risk by using it, anyway? thanks for the advice about Boot Camp vs Parallels, BTW!
I use QuickBooks Pro for Mac, so I haven't had need to try any of the Windows versions in a VM. But I can't think why it wouldn't work. From within the VM, QuickBooks Premier would believe it is operating on PC hardware within Windows.
I would guess they mean that the multiple user support wouldn't work from within the VM. But I would think that would also work. Windows can see the Internet from within the VM, which means it can see your network. So if Windows can see the network, then QB Premier should be able to, too.
I know you can get Parallels as a demo, and maybe you could get QB Premier as trial software. So if you already have a retail copy of Windows to load into a VM, it would only cost you time to test what's possible. -

We had a scenario SOAP to IDoc using some XSLT MAppings.
We configured teh scenario, but where as client needs response, since IDOC does not have response, client needs the response from PI to the same SOAP Application as response.
for this do we need to use ccBPM Sync u2013 Async bridge. Can any one guide how to achive this using ccBPM Sync u2013 Async bridge, Is there any other way to achive this with out BPM.

Once I have worked with RFC to JDBC were RFC needs response but through JDBC we were not giving any response.So did an EOIO processing:
Step 1>
RFC to JDBC
RFC to FILE
Here,if RFC to JDBC is successful then generate a File.
Step 2>
FILE to RFC
After File generation send the response to RFC.
But here both RFC's were different.
I am not sure, how in SOAP it can be done because not worked in such scenario.But I hope it can be one of the approach.Just try once and let me know.

I received a link to a iTune movie trailer in an email. I clicked on "watch now" and then "play". I was told I need to download Quick Time, but when I clicked on download, I was told that QT is built into Mac OSX. How do I get QT to work?
When I hit the play icon the little arrow thing goes all the way over to the end of the file and doesn't play at all. What gives?
Is this a minimum information puzzle? It is difficult to diagnose a problem long distance when you provide little or no information regarding what actions you are actually taking to export the data or which version of iPhoto you are using. Based on your latest description of how it doesn't work, my best guess is that you are exporting a single frame from your video clip rather than the "Original" file. This is easily checked by opening the file in QT and simply pressing the left/right arrow keys. If the file only contains a single frame, then your export work flow is at fault. Please select the "File > Original" (or similar) option in the export menu to export the entire file in whatever version of iPhoto you are using.. -

I need an app or software that records the date/time each time a write something and press enter. This needs to be quick so I can continue writing right after I press enter, and the date/time is inserted for each word. Imagine a spreadsheet - each time a write something in a cell and press enter to go into the next cell, I need the app/software to automatically insert the corresponding dat and time. Does this sort of software exist?

Try doing a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears and it restarts, ignoring the red slider if that appears.
If that does not help, take the iPad to an Apple store genius bar and have the techs check out the screen to see if there is a hardware fault. -
So, I get a Challenge Code on my Laptop, I called Toshiba Service to get a response Code, They keep telling me that this PC doesn't support that, but I'm looking at a screen asking for the Response Code, Why?? I even told them to look up Toshiba Document ID 98081156, which spells out how it works. That doc number was given to me by one of Toshiba's authorized service centers. I give you the Challenge Code of the PC, you give me the response code. I'm pretty sure they didn't even read it.

That document is only availible to Authorized Service Providers because they are they only ones that can follow the procedure listed.
You can try removing the battery and AC power to see if it clears the message. Also try to update the BIOS if possible. Also, the computer is on, try holding the power button down for about ten seconds until it powers off.
If you are unable to clear the message then you will need to take the computer to an Authorized Service Provider.

Flash Import Video needs DirectShow9 and Quick Time 7
I have Windows XP.
My Flash CS3 Pro says that I need to have DirectShow9 and
QuickTime 7 installed before it will import the .MOV file that I'm
suppose to use in Chapter 1 from the book Foundation Flash CS3
Video.
I have been trying all morning to find DirectShow9 in order
to install it. My book calls it Direct X 9, and I thought I had
installed what I needed from Microsoft but, obviously, I didn't.
Also, I installed Quick Time 7 but 90% of the buttons are
grayed out with PRO over them. QuickTime asks for another $30 to
upgrade to PRO. I was going to do that, BUT, all the reviews say
that the PRO doesn't work - screaming that they wasted their money
for nothing.
Am I stuck in the mud here? Can you help me find where to
download what I need? I would really appreciate some good, honest
answers. This is so frustrating.I don't know anything about buttons being grayed out with pro
over em. But you need DirectX 9 runtime for flash to decode windows
media files.

600EX-RT--Need some good, quick settings!

I've got a not-very-difficult-to-solve problem..but perhaps a new situation to which it applies
I've got two Speedlite 600EX-RT's. I bought the second when the first stopped working. The second one stopped working as well. Sent it in for warranty work and it's fine. So I sent the first one in as well. It's in the shop right now.
The issue is this: I'm leaving town this coming Tuesday for San Diego to shoot pics at Comic-Con. I'm comfortably certain there's no way that my flash will be reparied and sent back to me here in Alaska by Monday night.
Now the potential saving grace...the repair office is only 86 miles from San Diego! So there's a possibility I can drive and pick it up in person
Now the problem (Sorry for the long-windedness): The whole reason I want this flash reparied is to use as a portable off camera flash setup. And Comic-Con is where I really want to do this. But I've never worked with two flashes like this before.
So...what are the "best" settings to use for this setup? I'm envisioning the on-camera being just the transmitter, no flash. And I'm most comfortable using E-TTL. So, since I will have almost no time to play around with this before Go Time, what settings do I need to use for the on-camera "transmitter" and the off-camera flash?
The "good" news is that this is just me, not a paying/pro gig, so there's no pressure to perform, apart from my desire to get quality shots for people.

While wandering around inside, I use either no flash with the white balance adjusted, or I bounce my on camera flash, for the most part.
Just remember, white balance won't fix the difference between fluorescent and your flash (which is essentially the color of daylight). If you set the white balance for the flash then anything exposed by ambient will be a sickly green color. If you set for ambient then your subject will be magenta. I'd pick up a Roscoe sample book.
Also, don't rely on being able to bounce. Bouncing is great, when the room allows it. But if you don't have low white ceilings or a big white wall you might run into problems. Isn't in the SD convention center? The big glass one?

In bright sun I'd probably just keep the flash on-camera in and hope for the best . If the sun is hitting your subject straight on then you'll need a bare flash shooting straight at them just to try to fill for the sun. In this situation you're actually better off with a reflector and/or scrim (translucent shade held between sun and subject). But both of those require assistants. Direct sun is harsh, not great for shooting.
If the sun isn't directly overhead and you can get your subjects back to the sun, then you can get some real nice shots with just a single fill. An off-camera flash in a softbox is great, but it has limitations: it might not be strong enough, you have to get your subject to pose up close to the modifier, you lose the freedom of movement with on-camera flash, and umbrellas in outdoor situations tend to blow over, a lot. It's worth a shot if you want to give it a go, but I'd bring sand bags, and be prepared to scrap the whole setup and go on-camera if it doesn't work out. Put a big white bounce card on your flash and let er rip. If the flash isn't strong enough to match the background with the bounce, then just shoot direct.
Now, if I could find a some decent shaded area, or it's overcast enough, then optimally I'd set up my key in the umbrella (sand bags!) just off to one side and keep my on-camera flash dialed way down (2-3 stops). Actually, using the bounce card on the on-camera will help diffuse the light and you don't need it too strong anyway. If you had a way to get both flashes off camera I'd go with a standard high-key lighting setup. Lights on each side at 45 degrees, drop one of them 1 stop below the other.
One note about eTTL. The pre-flash can make people blink. It's also inconsistent, moreso when working as fill. If you're going to set up lighting and have people pose, then I'd just shoot in manual. If you're shooting on-camera and trying to be quick, then eTTL is the way to go. -

Thanks!The 1351Q is a more of a professional broadcast monitor with lots of features; a new one used to sell for $1200 or so; the 14N5U is a lower end unit, a good monitor but with less features and build quality. It retailed new for around $600.
The 1351Q can switch between 4:3 and 16:9, although it's not HD capable; it also has component inputs. The 14N5U is 4:3 only, and has only composite and Y/C inputs.
It would depend on the auction prices and sellers' reputations, I guess, and how much you want to spend. If all else is equal, I'd go with the 1351Q. -

you seem to want to get an uploaded file using FileUpload. Did you see the user guide on how to do this? You seem to be going about it in completely the wrong way.
