Need RSS taglib help /w exception
I've been using the sun rss tag library for several months now, and last Friday or Saturday started getting exceptions on that library. To fix the exception, I had to remove all of the rss tags, including the tag library declaration itself. Putting just the library declaration back in causes the exception. Here's the exception:
java.lang.NullPointerException
at com.sun.cnpi.rss.taglib.ForEachItemTag.doStartTag(ForEachItemTag.java:108)
The problem started on multiple servers (tomcat 4 and tomcat 5) at the same time, and I'm clueless what could have caused it. I'm pretty sure I made no changes (one tomcat server hasn't been updated in over a month) that would have caused the problem.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm mostly new to the java arena, so I'm not sure why including just the tag library declaration would be causing this exception. I've checked the .jar and .tld and they seem to be ok.

prefix="rss" %> declaration was causing the
exception. It didn't seem tied to anyparticular
command, but the inclusion of the library, whichis
one (of several) reasons this has me mystified.It is rather strange that it did work, then suddenly
didn't work, then sudenly did work again. Assuming
the taglib doesn't auto-update its code, and that you
didn't make changes to all the servers, then the only
explenation would be something you were giving it was
incorrect, and as soon as that(those) news item(s)
was removed from the feed the problem went away.
Looking at the error line would probably help you
identify what was causeing the error. Then you can
see if the error came from something you fed it,
something Tomcat fed it, or something it fed itself...I must admit that I experienced a similar error when bringing up the rssutils for the first time. I found that the error seemed tied to the <rss:feed> tag (triggered by an attempt to get item level data with one of the item tags) and was occurring whenever the target xml file was not accessible (in my case it was because the folder was restricted at the app-server layer). When I fixed the reference to a valid url, it worked.
The weird thing is that the rssutils seemed to somehow remember the old xml reference even after I removed the code (i.e. the rss:feed tag) that called it. I'm wondering if their is some caching going on. In the end, it was only fixed after definitively fixing the rss:feed to a good xml reference.
Did you perhaps delete/rename/move that xml file that you originally pointed at before replacing the reference?
I know this makes no sense at all, and I am admittedly also rather new to this tag library...but I figured I'd share my own similar frustration while I got it up and running.

OO ABAP is nothing but a class-method apprach to write ABAP codes and define them : below are few of the informations which will be of help for a newbie :

Public attributes
Public attributes are defined in the PUBLIC section and can be viewed and changed from outside the class. There is direct access to public attributes. As a general rule, as few public attributes should be defined as possible.
PUBLIC SECTION.
DATA: Counter type i.
Private attributes
Private attributes are defined in the PRIVATE section. The can only be viewes and changed from within the class. There is no direct access from outside the class.

Instance attributes
There exist one instance attribute for each instance of the class, thus they exist seperately for each object. Instance attributes are declared with the DATA keyword.

Constructor method
Implicitly, each class has an instance constructor method with the reserved name constructor and a static constructor method with the reserved name class_constructor.
The instance constructor is executed each time you create an object (instance) with the CREATE OBJECT statement, while the class constructor is executed exactly once before you first access a class.
The constructors are always present. However, to implement a constructor you must declare it explicitly with the METHODS or CLASS-METHODS statements. An instance constructor can have IMPORTING parameters and exceptions. You must pass all non-optional parameters when creating an object. Static constructors have no parameters.
Static constructor
The static constructor is always called CLASS_CONSTRUCTER, and is called autmatically before the clas is first accessed, that is before any of the following actions are executed:
Creating an instance using CREATE_OBJECT
Adressing a static attribute using <classname>-><attrbute>
Calling a ststic attribute using CALL METHOD
Registering a static event handler
Registering an evetm handler method for a static event
The static constructor cannot be called explicitly.
Protected components
When we are talking subclassing and enheritance there is one more component than Public and Private, the Protected component. Protected components can be used by the superclass and all of the subclasses. Note that Subclasses cannot access Private components.
Polymorphism
Polymorphism: When the same method is implemented differently in different classes. This can be done using enheritance, by redefining a method from the superclass in subclasses and implement it differently.

How to convert PO sapscript layout to pdf - need VERY URGENT Help
Dear All,
Requirement: PO sapscript layout after some modifications (say, ZMEDRUCK) has to be converted to pdf. Through me9f user will be able to give ranges of PO numbers and can view the print preview for the po. After that on clicking the print button we get the printout of the pos one after another based on the user input of PO numbers.
Our requirement is that when the user will click on the "Print Preview" of po (rather than pressing the print button) it i.e. PO sapscript layout has to get converted to pdf.
If you have already encountered this scenario, could you please send me the source code regarding this at the earliest. If you want to email it to my personal id, please let me know so that I can give it to you. Thank you.
It will be very beneficial for mine if you can send me some source code in this regard. (FYI. We want only Print output of PO sapscript. So, Print Program /SMB40/FM06P [after copying it to our ZSMB40/FM06P program] need to be modified for downloading the PO into PDF where there is no FMs like OPEN_FORM, WRITE_FORM, CLOSE_FORM. So already available source code in SAP forums can not help me.)). Kindly help me at the earliest. Its VERY URGENT

I need advise and help with this problem .
First , I have been with Mac for many years ( 14 to be exact ) I do have some knowledge and understanding of Apple product .
At the present time I'm having lots of problems with the router so I was looking in to some info , and come across one web site regarding : port forwarding , IP addresses .
In my frustration , amongst lots of open web pages tutorials and other useless information , I come across innocent looking link and software to installed called Genieo , which suppose to help with any router .
Software ask for permission to install , and about 30 % in , my instinct was telling me , there is something not right . I stop installation . Delete everything , look for any
trace in Spotlight , Library . Nothing could be find .
Now , every time I open Safari , Firefox or Chrome , it will open in my home page , but when I start looking for something in steed of Google page , there is
''search.genieo.com'' page acting like a Google . I try again to get raid of this but I can not find solution .
With more research , again using genieo.com search eng. there is lots of articles and warnings . From that I learn do not use uninstall software , because doing this will install more things where it come from.
I do have AppleCare support but its to late to phone them , so maybe there some people with knowledge , how to get this of my computer

Need a little help I'm new to Mac.. i have had my ibook for over a year now and i like it a lot, but some times my usb post dies on my for a couple days maybe weeks. Ill have my ipod connected and when i go to plug in a flash drive. It doesn't detect my ipod anymore and my usb port don't work. it says that they were "removed improperly" and now they are not working again..i have tried to reinstall the whole os again and that doesn't work i don't have the hardware test disk so i don't know what could be the problem i know its not the logic board is there any test i can do to it to find out the problem its an ibook late 2001... there is no reset button on it. i tried to hold in the space bar and now when i boot up i get prompt to this screen that shows the world and then a folder with a ? mark but then after a few sec it boots right up im a mess need some help

You have to go to the iPod's icon on your computer (or the flash drive's icon), select it and eject it there before removing it. Otherwise, data can be corrupted and/or lost. Repeatedly removing it without ejecting it from the desktop can cause it not to be recognized any longer.
If your iBook is a "late 2001" model. It should have a reset button. Check out the chart here to make sure which model iBook you have:

It's trying to find a network volume from which to boot.
Once it's booted up, go to System Preferences > Startup Disk, and select your Mac OS X startup volume. Then close System Preferences. The next time you start up, it should start up without looking for a network volume. -

I really need someone to help me. I have been trying to figure out how to select a PDF document to convert to a Word doc. When I go to select a PDF file, all that shows up is the WORD docs. does not show ANY of my PDF files... Please help me figure out what is going on? Hard Drive Failure on HP DV 6000 Pavilion laptop - Need Data Recovery Help
HP Pavilion DV 6108 NR, RG365UA, purchased in late 2006 at Best Buy, with Windows XP, upgraded to Service Pack 3. It has a Fujitsu hard disk, 60 gigabyte, partitioned into C: and a Recovery D:.
Windows tries to boot up, but goes to blue screen with the message: "Unmountable Boot Volume" for one second, then just keeps recycling until I force a shutdown.
BIOS Phoenix, hard drive test result: " #1-08 Fail "
I ran a disk analysis/recovery program on the Cdrive and it seemed to show the directory structure intact, and it was able to recover some files. I was using the free one from Seagate (which only recovers small files). The second pass didn't run so well, and during the third run the program said I should not proceed further, and I should contact a professional disk recovery company.
However, the D drive seems to be intact, so, I wonder if the disk is corrupted or just some aspect of the logical C drive is bad.
How can I get the D: to run the recovery software on it? The recovery disks, made by Best Buy, only proceed to the R / F / Q option screen, and when I press R, I get a blue screen every time.
Tapping the F10 key during startup gets me nowhere. Ditto the F11 key.
I dont care about the hard disk; it is the data (files, docs, images, etc) that I want.
I contacted HP to order recovery disks but they are no longer available for my computer.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

But I wonder how useful it would be. Early XP , no doubt. And if my hard disk problem is a mechanical fault, would any recovery disk even work? The disks made by Best Buy when I bought mine new in 2006 don't do anything more than go to the R /F/ Q screen and then goes to a blue screen when I press R (to recover the OS and apps and data files). And, as I wrote, it is the data that I want, not the disk drive. -

All the boxes have been made in Illustrator
The text has been done in In'Design and it seems every piece of text is it's own box if that makes sense
My question is, if I select the whole specification box - copy, paste it into Adobe Illustrator and change the text there, then paste the edited box back into In-Design, will I lose quality when it gets printed?
I'm worried if I do it this way it may come out blurred? Or am I just worrying about nothing?I couldn't find an Illy file in the end and have ended up creating tables in ID to replicate what was already there!
Didn't take very long and I guess if I didn't do it now, I'd come across the same situation next time!

There certainly are viable "quick fix" solutions proposed here, and if the dealine is looming and this file never needs to be touched again I might be tempted, but they are only postponing the pain for a file that needs periodic updates, and I wouldn't waste effort on them, myself, when that time can be put toward a proper rebuild now if that's the ultimate goal.

In need of desparate help (newbie)
so my plan is simple. from the execute query i bring back multiple resultsets, which i then populate into a vector. then this vector must be redirected to a JSP to iterate through a loop and display the results.

johnny.The problem might be due to some other servlet JAR which is already loaded and using a different version of servlet specifications. Check your Classpath for other JARs present.

In need of immediate help with FCP new user taking over colleagues position
Good Morning. I am in urgent need of some help with a specific final cut pro question. My coworker and I have been working on a video project for our employer, a university. He ran the editor (FCP) and I ran the logistics of setting things up, keeping the contacts and scheduling, etc.
He has left until late August and there are two major typos in his work which is posted to the web at the moment. I need to correct these typos and have less than a faint idea of how to do it.
First of all, what is the file's last three letters? (.doc, .mov, etc...)
Second, can I edit this as easily as I think I can? Just click in the text file along the bottom timeline and edit that way?
How do I export the movie as an mp4 file after i have edited it.
Anything else that would be deemed helpful is always appreciated!

Thanks for the help!You need to locate the Project file. Which will be somewhere in your colleague's User space.
In the Finder, press command and F to activate the Find function.
Make sure the following parameters are set:
Search *This Mac* and Contents
Kind is Documents
Type the project name.
The icon looks like this:
Double click it to launch Final Cut Pro with the project.
To locate the text overlay, click on the Timeline to make it active. Use the down arrow on your keyboard to jump from one cut to the next. The text overlay will look similar to this:
Double click on the Text clip. This will place it in the Viewer (the left "monitor").
Click the "Controls" tab above the Viewer and make your changes. Press Return.
Clicking anywhere in the Timeline once more will update it.
Make sure that no clips are selected and the Timeline is the active window.
Go to the menu bar: File > Export > Using QuickTime Conversion.
In the window that opens, make sure that Format is set to QuickTime Movie.
Click the Options button. Look at the top of the next window.
Does it say Compression Setting: H264? If it does, great.
If not, click the settings button and choose H264 from the *Compression Type* button.
At bottom left, drag the Quality slider to Best. Click OK.
This brings you back to the previous window.
Click on Size if you need to change something -there are a number of presets, but you can choose a custom size if you wish. Click OK.
That window is dismissed and returns you to the Save dialog.
Type a name and choose a destination for your file.

I have a First Gen IPad with IOS 4.3.2. It let's me manage my music and videos together in playlists. Need a larger capacity IPAD, that allows me to manage playlists the same way. Need direction or help!

i cant use the highlight, underline, or strikethrough function in a specific pdf file. The file isnt locked. I used to highlight texts from that file before the latest update. The problem occurs only with that file. Urgent need. Please help. Thanks!

Do you know when this problem (for not being able to add new highlight/strikeout/underline) has started? Did you update your iOS from 7.x to 8.0 recently?
