Need Serial Numbers frm Database

Hi all,
How to take dump for serial numbers in stocks for a given material group from the SAP database. I have tried using table "EQUI" but here I could not get the details as required by me though plant and storage are available in table "EQUI".Then I tried getting it from table "EQBS" here in input selection screen since there is no option for Material number I have to give Equipment number.In our case every single serial number has unique equipment number.So one material code has N serial numbers and N equipment numbers maintained in stocks.
To summarize in simple way
My requirement is to get all the serial numbers available against each material code in a given material group which are in stocks through tables.

Write the query using table MARA, EQUI and EQBS. you will get all the information you required.

After hard drive crash, I am trying to reinstall FC Studio but I can't find my serial numbers - the small pamphlet Installing your software has and that I can't find. This won't hope much right now...But for later I'd try this:
Keep all your serial numbers in a spreadsheet somewhere. If you're worried about the integrity of the file then you could insert it into a password-protected DMG. The resulting file will be quite small, if the only thing in it is a single spreadsheet. Then, if you have webspace, upload the file there. If not, e-mail it to yourself and leave it in the inbox indefinitely. You should probably e-mail it to yourself even if you DO have webspace. Redundancy is key!
Just remember when you update/remove/add info to your ongoing master sheet, re-distribute it to all the holding areas once again and delete the prior one.

Missing Serial Numbers for CS4 COmponents & Acrobat X Pro

I installed CS5.5 on my 32-bit system, which means I had to install the included "complimentary" CS4 copies of After Effects & Premiere Pro. As stated in one of the Adobe troubleshooting sections I read, the CS4 components require a separate CS4 serial number. As also stated in that same section, Acrobat and CS products have different serial numbers. Unfortunately, I was only given one serial number, and that one was for CS5.5. See image below for related screenshot collage.
The serial number has been intentionally rendered unreadable for obvious reasons, but it's sufficient to show that there's only one serial number associated with my products. I need serial numbers for the 32-bit CS4 components and for Acrobat X Pro. How do I get them? I tried chatting with an Adobe support agent a couple weeks ago, and he told me he couldn't help me. He said I needed to get the serial numbers from the company that provided me with the CS5.5 serial number (Identit-E, who evidently gets involved with providing serial numbers for validated student license purchases). They said they couldn't help me, and that I had to get with Adobe! So I'm being run around in circles with nobody taking responsibility! And when I tried to follow instructions and a link that I thought MIGHT give me some answers (on this page: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/517/cpsid_51791.html)...

...I got a warning from my browser that it's an untrusted site:
I'm not into taking that kind of risk.
So I've done about all I can think to do, including contacting the actual reseller who sold me the software (no word from them yet). Nobody's claiming responsibility, and they're pointing at each other. That leaves me in the middle with no answers and only partially working, very expensive software!
If there are any ideas from folks on this forum, I'm all ears!

Serial numbers for packaging in Delivery

Dear Mr Meitalmo,
I have investigated about the Crystal Report and as it stands the Crystal report only pulls information that is already in the application, so it will not create the serial number.
I am trying to understand what you normally do to find an alternative for you.
So far I have come up with some ideas:
- if you need the serial number on the packaging only (and the items are not either batches or serial numbers) then you can change the items to batch and when you create the package be careful to take the items from the same batch.
- if you need serial numbers for the items, plus an extra one for the packaging, then do the following:
Create the UDF field in the packaging window and every time you create a new package write manually the serial number. Then modify the printing of the packaging so that this value has been included.
Alternative, you can create a UD table to store this information.
Please, let me know if one of my suggestions help and let me know what the scenario is.

Now you should change the template of the packaging.
To do this please go to Business One and open the Delivery and then the packaging window.
Then go to the Print Layout Designer (PLD - you can click the pen on the toolbar) and choose the template.
The template must be modified in order to add the information you need.

I then copy the photos from her flash drive onto my computer and load them in my LR. The photos appear but witthout any editing or tagging. We need to be able to have her working on the photos on her computer with her copy of LR and me on my computer with my version of LR being able to access what is already tagged and given back to me. This seems hard. We need advice on if it is at all possible to have two computers simultaneously working on LR . I bought her her own version because I was told at the time of purchasing that that was the only way to share. Please advise urgently! Thanks.

Sounds like your assistant isn't instructing Lightroom to write the tagging and editing to the files themselves, so wehn the files return to you, they don't have editing and tagging information. She need to select the photos in Lightroom and then Ctrl-S (Cmd-S on Mac). Or alternatively turn on the option to autmoatically write this information to the files.
If you are using RAW photos, then this information will be written to a sidecar XMP file, and your assistant must provide you with the sidecar file. If these photos are not RAW photos, then the information is written directly into the photo file itself.
Lightroom wasn't designed to be a multi-user program, and so it is truly not possible to have two people working on the same catalog at once. The way you are doing things, as modified above, is probably the way to go.
As an alternative, you can transfer (portions of) catalogs as well as photos back and forth and then all of these issues disappear, but a catalog might be rather large for a flash drive (or maybe not, it depends)

When I install my programs on the new computer I get a message that I have to get new serial numbers, and I have to take the programs out on one of the computer. As long as you have a legitimate serial number, you can just download a trial version of the version you need from the public Adobe site, install it and input your valid serial number upon installing it.
You will need to apply all available updates, as all downloads are of the original release.
The Extended and the Standard version of Photoshop are one and the same binary. It's your serial number that makes it Extended or Standard.

Database Design: table to enter product serial numbers

Hi,
I'm developing a database for invoice details. The data also includes product serial number. I have an Invoice table, Products table and InvoiceProducts table- to normalise the many to many relationship of Invoice and products. I can't enter the serial numbers in the InvoiceProducts table since this will mention the quantity of a particular product in the invoice. Please can you advise how/where I can enter the serial number details. what is the industry practise for storing invoice informatioin.

I'm not sure about adding serial numbers in products table since I want it to be a generic table for all products recorded from different invoices. I would want serial numbers to be invoice-product specific but again Im not sure how I can add serial numbers to the InvoiceLineItem table since invoiceID and productID cant be represented as composite Primary keys in that case. Also, I plan to have a column for number of units in the InvoiceLineItem table.
Can I introduce a serial number column in the InvoiceLineItem table and separate all the serialnumbers using a separator like comma?Will I compromise on atomicity of the serial number?If I include serial number column in the InvoiceLIneItem table... I can have composite key for InvoiceID, ProductNumber and serialNumber or will it mean redundant invoice and product details for every row of serial number
The application essentially records all the details from a printed copy of Invoice onto the database through manual entry.

1. Create delivery (This automatically creates a TO)
2. Confirm TO
3. PGI
If the material is serialized, capturing the serial numbers via VL02N > Extras and then do PGI.
But due to limitation of scanning only 19 serial numbers at a time in VL02N transaction, have to keep scrolling manually to scan more than 19 serial numbers, we want to use LM80 transaction to capture serial numbers.
I need step by step configuration changes and processing steps to use LM80 transaction. As a note, we do scan serial numbers in to system as our business requires scanning 100 serial numbers at times.

Firstly, considering the first and last serial numbers and filling in the rest is good. But the challenges will be as follows:
1. What happens if the difference between the first and last is too huge? The user will see a huge list of numbers.
2. What if some in-between serial numbers are consumed already?
One probable solution can be:
1. The system suggests the unconsumed serial numbers for picking based on the actual quantity that has to be picked.
2. The user can either choose these serial numbers or modify the list with scanning based on actual picks.
The solutions can be many based on the actual way the materials are organized in the warehouse.

Thank you for replying Gordon. I did not remember I had asked this before. I no longer have access to the other account.
What I need on the query is that I want a list of items with the on order quantity and when we are expecting this order to be received. The receiving date is based on the PO delivery date. The trick here is that I need to Master sku to show the delivery date of the component sku. In my scenario all components have the same delivery date for the Master sku. If there are mulitple delivery dates because each warehouse is getting them on a different date then I want to get the delivery date for that warehouse.
Let me know if this is possible and if yes please guide towards a query for it.

Why need the Lr and Ps serial numbers when the Br not needs?

I bought today CC for photographers (LR, PS, Br). The Br runs fine. But the other two programs want serial numbers. Why?

Cloud programs do not use serial numbers... you log in to your paid Cloud account to download & install & activate... you MAY need to log out of the Cloud and restart your computer and log back in to the Cloud for things to work
