Need setting that allow Quicktime 6.4 to work with FF 4.01.
What settings in about:config need to be edited to allow FF4 to use Quicktime 6.4 plugin to work? Currently QT 6.4 plugin is enables but only a broken icon shows on pages with embedded MP3 files.
In the past QT 6 could only be used if the about:config file was edited; please advise setting required for this. Some programs on MY system require QT 6, so I don't want to/can't upgrade to the latest version.
If your computer's OS X version is 10.4.1, this would not allow it to
see later updates for the OS X Tiger version which would be seen
by software update once it were taken to 10.4.11 via Combo update.
One of those update items needed to run a newer QuickTime than
10.4.1 can use, would be a newer Java update for Tiger 10.4.11,
but as it stands, this is conjecture based on guesswork.
Oh well, it wouldn't be the first time a wheel was only flat on the bottom.

universal binaries are designed to work on both PowerPC and Intel machines. If you're using an Intel machine why do you need PowerPC support?
Also, you want something that 'allows QuickTime to show video'. Well, not to be glib, but QuickTIme does video - that's it's raison d'etre. Therefore I think your question is more about how to get QuickTime to show a specific (non-standard?) video format. Without knowing what that format is, it's impossible to answer your question directly.
That said, maybe the place to start is Apple's QuickTime Components index. -

You need to start over with Music. On the iPhone Music screen uncheck sync music. Also, on the Summary screen uncheck "Manually manage music and videos", then sync and it should clear off your phone.
Next, choose the music you want to sync. If you want to fit more on check "Convert higher bit rate songs to 128 kbps AAC". This will reduce quality slightly, but it won't be noticable unless you are using $300 headphones. -

I just downloaded Firefox 5 and it said that my Yahoo toolbar will not work with it. Is this true? If so I will not use this new version and will switch to another browser if Firefox stops supporting the Yahoo toolbar. Thank you.
Add-ons contain a range of compatible Firefox versions, and Firefox honors the listed range by disabling the add-on if you are trying to run it on an unlisted version.
I'm sure Yahoo! will update its toolbar eventually, but not every add-on maker supports beta versions of software. -

i used an HS 500 on a samsung A 358 ( i think it was the model) and it worked very well for calls.

My PC serves the minimum requirements described in the kinect page, but when installing the device, the software says that the computer does not meet the minimum requirements and therefore will not work with efficiency. Alternatively, theorize buy a new

Which PC is recommended by Microsoft that ACTUALLY meet the requirements to work with software development for kinect for windows?Getting a definitive answer from Microsoft will be difficult as to my understanding, requirements are still subject to change; and unless it's their brand of PC I doubt they will give free advertisement to buy a specific make/model.
There are other threads where people discuss specific machines that work with the Kinect V2.
The only compatibility problems I've had with getting it to work are: It has to be run Windows 8; It has to have a compatible USB 3.0; The 'Compatible' USB 3.0 requirement seems to be the most difficult. -
My MacBook Air is making a clicking noise every 7 seconds for 2 seconds. It started today, and I have had the computer for almost a year. It is below the power switch and annoying enough that it is hard to even work with the computer. It sounds as if a hard drive is trying to work. No applications running. Ideas?
If its a MBA with solid state drive then I would guess its the fan touching something ???. I think it have no other moving parts.

What is the GRANT or permission setting that allows viewing of package body
For purposes of SOX and security/audit control, we log in under our network id's in our production environment. We have sourcecode compiled into Oracle seeded schemas ( APPS ) so that scheduled jobs are able to run with submitted from the Oracle Applications environment. We don't compile code into our personal network account areas.
I know how to GRANT EXECUTE privs so that we can execute a package in another schema, but what I want to do is to be able to view the sourcecode in another schema. Compile into APPS but be able to see the package body from my network id schema account.
I can't seem to find what the correct permission is anywhere. Granted I can look at DBA_SOURCE to get to it, but I want to use a tool like SQL Developer or TOAD to look at the code in a more presentable and easier to debug manner.
