In win32 programming I can call EnumWindows along with the hwnd of the window I want the sub windows for and it will enumerate through the hwnds of the sub windows. This is how we scrape windows screens.... pull the data from the controls in a windows window. Obviously EnumWindows does not work against java windows.
Is there a way to do this in on a Java GUI? If so, you'd be straight.

This is a misnomer and creates the perception that a PL/SQL "table" is somewhat like a SQL table. Nothing can be further from the truth. The correct term is "+collection+" or "+associative array+". Compared to SQL tables, these are very primitive structures, very rigid structures, cannot scale, and can be quite expensive memory wise.
That is not to say do not use an associative array or collection. These are very useful tools.. but only when applied correctly. Like using a collection for a bulk fetch to transfer more rows between the PL and SQL engines and thus decrease context switching.
Unfortunately, quite often we see the row-by-row and slow-by-slow approach - where the developer uses SQL as an I/O only layer, pulls rows into expensive PL engine memory into record structures and arrays, and then process the rows there.
So before looking at working example (even the wrong approach's code will compile and run and work in practice), make sure that you know the fundamentals of correctly using the PL engine and correctly using the SQL engine. And these fundamentals can be summed up into a very basic rule:
Maximize SQL. Minimize PL/SQL+
Get this rule right, and you will have a sound foundation for writing performant and scalable Oracle applications.

WebCenter Sites and Model–view–controller (MVC) framework

A customer of our started developing their sites using Webcenter Sites, they want to support additional functionality such as transaction management, exception handling, custom logging and so on. I was wondering if anyone has experience with the Model–view–controller (MVC) framework, they consider it an ideal candidate for these features. Has anyone here used the MVC framework in conjunction with WebCenter Sites to write additional java classes, facade layers and utilize the Spring controller to wire the same ? Are you aware of any other options available for this purpose ?

Hi Pietro -
Using Sites IN a MVC framework is very difficult, because the entire context of WebCenter Sites is burned into the COM.FutureTense.Servlet.SContentServer servlet. You can't really work around that with any degree of reliability. Unfortunately, that means that dropping Sites into a pre-existing third party MVC framework doesn't really work.
There are a lot of good reasons for that, not the least of which is the two-tiered pagelet-level caching system that makes Sites so very fast at delivery... not that it's any consolation.
To deal with this some former colleagues of mine and I built the GST Site Foundation ("GSF") framework, which provides a Spring-like MVC container WITHIN sites, instead of the other way around. If you're familiar with Spring, you'll see patterns similar with the GSF. My current team and I have blogged about this extensively:

But ultimately, the special sauce is the following: in Sites, create an XML element that contains nothing but a <FTCS> tag, a <CALLJAVA> tag, and a closing </FTCS> tag. Your CALLJAVA will then call a class that implements the Seed or Seed2 interface, and from in there you have access to the (properly managed) ICS object where you can do all of your magic. You can then build a lightweight controller here to handle any action you can dream up:

Need some advise on a AEBS set up and LAN

Signed up on DSL2+. I have a DSL modem i can bridge... i have 1x Airport Extreme (n + Giga LAN) and 1x Airport Express (n).
My apartment is cabled with Cat 5e. Im looking to get the fastest experience both for WAN and LAN possible and am wanting to have a G and an N capable network (for legacy devices and mobiles)
My thoughts, and where im looking to be challenged, is the best way to have the Thompson DSL modem set to bridge, and shoot the WAN to the Airport Extreme which would then distribute the IPs via DHCP. It would serve up N class wireless as well..
now the part i need some direction on.. the airport express, I cant shoot an N signal to it if i want it to share via G... so can I use a giga lan port on the Extreme and then plug it into the express and get it to share the same lan via G?

Yes. With the 802.11n AirPort Express Base Station (AXn) connected to the 802.11n AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBSn) by Ethernet, AND with the AXn reconfigured as a bridge, wireless clients connected to the AXn will be on the same LAN subnet as those clients connected to the AEBSn.

Im planing on using the Log and transfer window to import all of the P2 cards into Fcp, Is this the best thing to do?

Transferring material from P2 cards is a loss-less ttansfer. What happens is that your footage is being rewrapped into QT files. You may leave default preferences.
And last but not least should I leave the Remove Advanced Pulldown and Duplicate Frames checked or unchecked.
Not a decision that we need to take often on this side of the pond but on your side in some cases that needs to be checked.
I am pretty sure Shane Ross mentions something about 1080 24PA in his tutorial which btw you should watch to get some extra info.

Need some ideas on a Interactive Restaurant site

Here is the task that I am dealt.
I need to make an interactive touch screen kiosk survey for a restaurant.
What needs to happen:
It will have images of all ingredients.
The customer will walk up to the touch screen and click on various images that will be included in their custom sandwich.
So the images will then be added below like
Whole wheat Bread Image + Roast Beef + Lettuce = Customer gets to call it what they want.
Then then need to be able to tweet it and also the restaurant wants to keep a record of this and maybe the customers email address.
SO
What should I use to create this?
Should and can this be done with adobe flash pro?
Or is there an easier soultion?

Well I guess I thought that because I want to animation the page and have each item that was chosen move to the bottom of the page ; that this would be considered animating.
This is my first time here and I was hoping for a warm reception.:)
As mentioned in my post I want the visitors to be able to click on and image from the menu at the top portion of the page and when chosen have it move to a position to right above the fold and as other items are chosen to well also be animated to move to bottom before the fold.
So after clicked on from the above choices it would look something like this.
Whole wheat bread + Roast Beef + Provolone Cheese+ Spicy Mustard = MY CUSTOM SANDWICH NAME
Then the option to tweet this and have the link in the tweet go to a page with all the custom ingriedients.
Hope this is making sense.

After doing a search, when I click on the website I want to go to, it will go to some search or ask type of site and not the one I tried to go to.

After a search, when I click on the site I want to go to, it will take me to a different site (like an ask or search type of site, seems like the same 3 or 4 always) when I to go back to the search page ( takes 2 or 3 clicks on the back arrow) and try the site I wanted again it will send me to the wrong site again. I have to do this 3 or 4 times until it will go to the site I want. If I copy n paste the site url in the navigation bar it will go to the site I want, but it's kind of a pain to do that, and I never had to do that before. Also, it does the same thing if I'm using yahoo or google to search. Thank you in advance

Need some graphics card advice for using 3D and Adobe

Below are the specs for the workstation I just bought. I'm planning on upgrading the graphics card to a GeForce GTX 570 (Fermi) 1280MB. The chassis is pretty small, and I'm concerned that it might get too hot. Here are the major failings of that "workstation":
1) The power supply is much too weak to handle an upgrade to a GTX 570. Heck, that PSU might not have been capable of actually handling even its claimed 350W - but more like 200W. As such, it's barely capable of handling even that "workstation"'s base configuration with integrated Intel HD 2000 graphics. You will definitely need a new power supply (at least 550W, but preferably 750W to 850W) right away before you can even upgrade the graphics card at all.
2) That PC has only one hard disk. Adobe requires a minimum of at least one additional hard disk (preferably two or more additional disks) in order to run Premiere Pro acceptably well.
3) Change out the H67 motherboard for a Z68 motherboard. H67 cannot overclock the "limited-overclockable" i7-2600 CPU at all. And even with a Z68 motherboard, the fastest that you can run that non-K i7-2600 would be 3.9GHz.
4) As you stated, that small case will not be enough. You will need a much bigger case to handle the load from Premiere Pro plus all of the hardware upgrades that I'm suggesting.
Also, keep in mind that the company only offers "lifetime" technical support if you don't tinker with the PC's innards at all - not even a minor hardware upgrade or only for a vendor-approved hardware upgrade such as RAM. Once you open that case for a non-vendor-approved hardware upgrade (e.g. an upgraded power supply, an upgraded GPU or upgraded cooling), you will no longer have technical support from that company that you're getting the PC from.
As currently equipped, that system will run about 25 to 30 times slower than a fast PC. Look at payal's 622-second result running 5.0.3 on the PPBM5 results list, with the same CPU, chipset and integrated graphics as your system: It is already more than 12 times slower (in terms of the Relative Performance Index) than a fast system - and that system is already running two disks. With only one disk for absolutely everything - the OS, media, projects, previews, cache and exports - it would be much slower than even that because SATA is only a half-duplex interface, not a full-duplex interface. As a half-duplex interface, SATA can only deliver data transfers in one direction at a time. However, video editing programs like PPro require simultaneous reads and writes. This means that the single disk must wait for data transfers in a given direction to be completed before any data starts transferring in the opposite direction.
