Need some 'Find with Grep' help

Hi, all I have a long name directory,
and I want to find all the middle innitials in the names
so that I can add a dot to them.
right now I have the names like this:
Jon A Dow
I want to make them all into
Jon A. Dow
I thought If I could search for the Capitol letters with a space after them
that could work because the middle initials all have a single space following them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

With iTunes, no.
If you had "Find My iPhone" enabled in Settings > iCloud then you may be able to locate it. If not, you cannot locate it.
If it was enabled then you can try locating it via http://icloud.com on a computer or the App "Find My iPhone" on another iDevice. Note: this will only work if your device is connected to a network and the device hasn't already been restored as new and/or "Find My iPhone" has not been disabled on it. Note: Disabling "Find My iPhone" is much more difficult in iOS 7.
If you think that your device was stolen rather than lost then you should report it to the police. In either case you should contact your carrier, change your iTunes account password, your email account passwords, and any passwords that you'd stored on websites/emails/notes etc.

Sorry but the only help you have is the local police.
Change your iTunes (Apple ID) password along with any other password that was stored in the iPod. If any passwords are associated with credit cards, contact the CC company and get your card replaced (with a new number). If any passwords are associated with your bank or any savings institution, contact them also and discuss approprate action with them.
The "Find my..." function is pretty much useless if the device is in the hands of a thief. All that is necessary is for the thief to connect to any computer with iTunes and "Restore as new."
The only real protection you have is with the personal information on the device rather than the physical device itself. This requires action before the device is lost/stolen. Something as small as an iPod should have a strong 8-digit (or longer) password AND be configured for automatic wipe in the event of ten consecutive incorrect password entries.

Need some advices with OBIEE

At the moment I am doing an internship somewhere, and I am supposed to visualise some data from an Oracle database into a Google Map.
The data should be fake, because the application will be a showcase.
I need some start-up hints, because actually I don't know where to start and with which programs.
First of all a little background.
The following programs are installed on my laptop:
- Oracle DB (1013)
- Oracle Example Schemas
- Oracle WebLogic (103)
- Oracle BI enterprise (101340)
- JDeveloper
This is what I want:
- Create a database or schema with fake data. The fake data should consist of addresses. (for the Google Map)
- The combination with BI enterprise is a requirement, part of the internship programme.
- Combination with Google map functionality.
Maybe someone can give me some advices in how to begin. Which techniques I should use or some useful tutorials.
I would really appreciate if someone can give me a heads up!

The [Oracle by Example|http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/obe_bi/bi_ee_1013/index.html] website has many good step by step tutorials on OBIEE so that would be a good start. Having said OBIEE doesn't support "heat maps" or overlaying data on maps out of the box. They are some 3rd party tools out there but I don't think you want to go there. From my point of view anyone asking you to use OBIEE to overlay data on Google Maps doesn't know what OBIEE should be used for (and probably doesn't know Google Maps either).

Newbie needs some direction with Exchange Server 2007

I am in school and I have been given an assignment that is kinda hard for me. I am not asking for answers but I am asking for direction. If you guys can point me to some research that will help me It would be much appreciated.

I need to find someone to help with a case # from a previous chat

On 11/17 I chatted online with a gentleman for quite a while discussing a printhead issue. He gave me a case # and sent me new ink to try. That did not work and I have been trying to contact someone to resume the conversation. I was to;ld the printer would then have to be replaced. It is still under warranty. Now I cannot find any help online.

Need some Desktop Software Connection help.....PLEASE

Here's the deal. I've had my berry for a while, no problem. I used to be able to connect to my computer and use the desktop manager to swap photos, ring tones, music, etc between my comp and berry. I had some computer issues which involved me changing the power supply and video card as well as adding some ram.
Everything works fine, printer, mp3 player etc.
When I plug in my berry it doesn't do anything. It recognizes the memory card I have. But when I open up the media manager, it tells me there is no device installed, and all it sees is my media card.
Now everything works perfect on my wife's laptop (she has a berry too), but it doesn't work on mine. We both run old school 4.2 desktop software as well as the new 4.7+os.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4.2 twice, and it doesn't recognize my phone. I even go to connection settings and all it shows is COM ports. I found a USB option, but then it searches for the device and finds nothing.
So I decided to upgrade to desktop software 4.7. Downloaded it, installed it, and the same **bleep** thing happens. Doesn't recognize anything. Says I'm not connected. I'm starting to get really pissed off at this crap. I've never had any trouble before. I put 30 songs on here, and tons of pictures on my memory card...not a skipped beat ever.
I can easily go to my wife's laptop, plug in, and install/delete what I need and I'm done. The problem is none of my music/pics are on her laptop. SO I 'm having to bring them via Flash Drive to her laptop, and then install the items..but no luck on my comp.
I went to the control panel and did "add hardware" it showed a blackberry device was connected but it gave me the following error (using both versions of the desktop software)
"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)"
Please help before I get really frustrated and toss my berry.

i just bougth the PowerBook Pro. it's the 15.4-inch, 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo with 512MB (single SO-DIMM) 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM. i would like to upgrade the memory to 1GB (ideally i would like it to be to the max of 2GB but believe it or not i'm on a buget at the moment). do i buy just another 512MB chip or do i have to buy the 2 X 512MB kit or straight the 1GB chip?
also, if you do have the time and feel like helping an amateur, how exactly does the amount of memory affect the speed performance of the programs? does higher memory only allow the better performance of more simultaniosly running programs or does it actually increase the speed they run in? every bit of info on this topic would help. thank you in advance. if you have a 512 installed, you just buy one more 512 stick.
there are only two slots for ram in your macbook...
if you bought the 2x512 kit, you'd have one left stick
left over... but the advantage here would be that you'd
be installing 'matched memory'. this leads to some
small performance gains which you may or may not
ever notice, depending on how you use your machine...
also, if you do have the time and feel like helping
an amateur, how exactly does the amount of memory

applications require memory to do stuff - they use
it to store the information that they'll need to do what
you asked them to do. more RAM means you can
run more applications at once (and they'll all have

yes, and if it's an 'intensive app', yes...
you will likely notice the change from one 512 to two 512's,
and you'll like it. going from 1GB total to 2GB total (but
replacing both 512's w/ 1GB's) you might not notice for
most of your day-to-day activities, unless those include
somethign hard core (rendering in iDVD for example)...

Need some assistance with multiple problems (8330 Curve)

I am recent buyer of an 8330 (Verizon). I like it a lot and find it a very useful tool. Being new to the BB world, I do have some questions, that I cannot find answered on any of the BB forums.
So here they are:
1. I have two e-mail accounts setup on my BB. So this means that I should have only two e-mail options under applications. I have three and the third one seems to get messages from both of my two other accounts. What is also weird is that there is no e-mail header on the top (like with the other two e-mail folders). How do I get e-mails to stop going in to this folder and basically delete it? The other strange thing (that I just noticed is that this generic e-mail box gets some e-mails that my other two accounts never see (even though they have their correct e-mail address on them)!
2. How do I create sig lines for my e-mail accounts? I have read the help pages, but the instructions they give me for creating signatures on my outgoing e-mails does not work.
3. Does the new 4.5 SW upgrade allow me to use the GPS capability with my phone? I bought the download Garmin SW for my phone ONLY to find out later that Verizon has blocked this feature! It should would be nice if either VZ or Garmin would have made that crystal clear when I got my phone. :-(

1. That is the "Messages" folder. It is a dumping ground for ALL messages including all emails, sms, mms, pin, BBMessenger (if selected) and any others like Browser messages, etc. You can't stop messages from going there but you can hid the icon, if you like.
2. To create signatures for email you have to use the BIS logon from your PC. Use the link below to do this:

3. Upgrading the OS does not allow you to use the GPS with other software like Garmin. This is a Verizon lock and there is no way around it. They want you to pay for their service.

#2 False. The songs are not being wiped because you have a pc and he has a mac. The songs are being wiped because you say yes to the message that pops up saying "this ipod is linked to another library, do you want to link it to this library?"

#3 Not always. Could be another music program on your computer capable of reading the ipod is doing just that. Could be an antivirus program is scanning the ipods disk. If you can feel/listen to the ipod and the disk is not being accessed/spinning it should be safe to disconnect (you may need to reset the ipod afterwards).

When I try the SCJP certification in x amount of time in the future, if I get a job as a Java programmer - would theye expect me to use a full blow API or IDE, or would theye just let me use a text editior?
The reason I ask that is because I preffer using a text editor and want to know if i'll have to learn how to use an IDE in the future.

I cant seem to find a good native compiler! (I can use a search engine so no smart comments please) i've found two, one is useless and the one I found on sourceforge cant seem to find the correct compiler once I attempt to create a Java exe. (link me a freeware one if you can please)

Access Web App - Need some advice with query (text to number problem)

In an Access Web App I want to create a query.
I have two tables which are related but in a bit complicated way. For some reason I have a text field in which I save a number. This number relates to the ID of another table. When I combine these two tables in a query, it's not working because the textfield
cannot query the (ID)number field.
Is there a way, in this query so that I covert the text field to a number so the query will work?
I tried to do it with the "Parse" function but no luck, so far.

Based on the description, you want to create a query by joining a text filed with number filed?

Need some advice with indexing and search server in multihomed environment.

I want to introduce the JISS (java indexing and search server). We have an multihomed environment with two frontends for convergence and imap/pop proxy service and two mail stores in a cluster HA environment
(Sun cluster 3.2, messaging server 7u3-15.01, convergence 1.0-12.01 running on glassfish 2.1.1). The directory servers (multimaster) are on speperated servers.
I viewed the jiss deployment pages in the wiki (http://wikis.sun.com/display/CommSuite/Indexing+and+Search+Service+Deployment+Planning), but they are more confusing than helpful.
My questions are as follows:
Can I put the jiss web service on the convergence server (to share the same glassfish server?
Is it better to put the indexing part of JISS on a seperate server or on the convergence server or better on the mail store servers?
Can I run the JMQ broker in an HA environment on the cluster? Is it possible to run JMQ together with messaging server in the same cluster group?
Can JISS index two mail stores (I didn't find anything in the config guide)?

You should not post your email address and all this information on the phone - it's and invitation to spam and a security risk. I've asked the Hosts to remove them.
Only the previous owner can unlock your phone. Apple cannot help you (and you are not talking to Apple here, this is a user-to-user forum). You need to contact him and get him to remove the phone from his list of devices, and get him to unlock it. Without this you cannot use the phone.
