Need some suggestions or help with shopping cart.

I am looking and searching and searching and looking for a
good e-commerce package I can use with my future sites as well as a
current one I am developing. It is a automotive site with multiple
sizes of parts and accessories, I have opted to use a drop down for
selecting the size but need to figure out how to incorporate that
when I do the shopping cart and etc... I have looked at cartweaver
and cannot afford that right now I am looking for something similar
to it but cheaper in price if not free...

I've used Cartweaver and found it rather good. It's one of
the few that can be licensed so as you can use it on as many sites
as you want. Most only allow you to use a shopping cart on a single
site.
I've used Cartweaver ColdFusion. They also have a PHP and ASP
version of the software, you'll need to decide what back-end
technology you want to use: ASP, PHP, ColdFusion. and buy that one.
I would check with your hosting company and see what back-end
technology they offer you.

Need Some Brain Storming Help WIth a Long Distance Mail Problem

I would really appreciate anyones input on this...
Here's the situation. I'm trying to solve a mail problem for my somewhat elderly Mother. The biggest problem is that she is 3800 miles away from me and nowhere near any sort of help or tech support (Rural Alaska) so I'm trying to sort this out over the phone.
Anyway, she somehow screwed up her mail. All of a sudden the mail she sends comes from MY account! It shows up in my mailbox as having been sent by me. She is using an iBook G4 that I gave her a year or so ago and I suppose it's possible that somehow my mail account was on there somewhere (?). It's like she accidentally switched users or something.
I have sent her Email to her normal .Mac email address and it does indeed show up in her mailbox when I check the web mail. She is running Tiger and I'm running Leopard.
I just can't for the life of me figure out what she would have done and I'm hoping that someone might have an idea. She says that the font sizes all changed as well which leads me to believe that she is indeed using my old settings and mail account.
Once again, any help really appreciated. I'm heading out of town for a week and she really depends on her email. I'm trying desperately to get this solved before I leave. Thanks!

It looks like Mail has reset its preferences, including the account settings. What follows is a more thorough explanation that should allow you to determine whether that’s really what happened and what your options would be in that case. I’ll provide the full instructions I usually provide to solve this problem when having direct access to the computer, even though you may find some of them not practical or unnecessary.
Under some circumstances (e.g. lack of available disk space, filesystem corruption, repeated crashes), Mail may discard the current ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist preferences file and create a new one. This file is where all the account settings are stored. As a result, all the non-.Mac account settings are lost. If you have a .Mac account, however, that account would appear to have been preserved because Mail would set it up automatically using the System Preferences > .Mac settings — but may result in a different .Mac account being automatically set up if for some reason the System Preferences > .Mac settings differ from what until then were the Mail account settings...
What’s the capacity and space available on the startup disk? Take a look at the comments about disk space in the following article, in case they apply to this case:

After having fixed all the filesystem issues, if any, and ensuring that there’s enough space available on the startup disk (a few GB, plus the space needed to make a backup copy of the Mail folder), quit Mail if it’s running, and make a backup copy of the ~/Library/Mail folder (e.g. by dragging it to the Desktop while holding the Option (Alt) key down), just in case something else goes wrong while trying to solve the problem. This folder is where all your mail is stored.
There are at least three ways to restore the account settings:
(1) Restore ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist from a backup if you have one. Mail shouldn’t be running while you do this.
(2) Set up your mail accounts again (you may want to quit Mail and trash the new com.apple.mail.plist first to start over). If given the option to import existing mailboxes or something like that, don’t. Just enter the account information and Mail will automagically rediscover the data in ~/Library/Mail/ when done. You’ll also have to re-configure some of the Mail > Preferences settings. For spam-related security reasons, the first thing you should do is go to Preferences > Viewing and disable Display remote images in HTML messages if it’s enabled.
(3) Mail may have renamed the old preferences file to com.apple.mail.plist.saved. If that’s the case, you may try trashing the new com.apple.mail.plist and renaming the old com.apple.mail.plist.saved back to com.apple.mail.plist. Again, be sure Mail isn’t running while doing this. Given the circumstances, there exists the possibility that com.apple.mail.plist.saved became corrupt, but that often is not the case and the settings can usually be restored by just renaming the file back to com.apple.mail.plist.
As a side effect of re-creating com.apple.mail.plist, Mail might rename Outbox (which is where messages waiting to be sent are stored) to Delivered. The name of that mailbox is actually a misnomer, as it would contain messages (if any) that couldn’t be delivered for some reason. You can delete that mailbox if you wish.
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder. That is, ~/Library is the Library folder within the user’s home folder, i.e. /Users/username/Library.

Agreed! If you want help soon, call Apples paid support line. Now while you were waiting for us to slowly get around to answering you, you could have downloaded the manual for the ipod, so that you understood the function of the mail sync options in itunes. Mail sync only copies the settings needed to access your mail servers, from the mail client on your computer, over to the ipod touch. It does not copy any actual mail messages, and does not copy any settings from the ipod back to your mail program. The advanced section is meant to be used if you have messed up the settings on the ipod itself. It will ignore any changes to bookmarks, contacts, or mail settings depending on which you check, and will copy new information to the ipod. So in your case if you are able to access, and send mail correctly from the account on your mac, then clicking on the sync mail account button in itunes as well as the replace info on this ipod whatever in the advanced section should transfer over the correct mail account settings to your ipod.

I have been wanting to upgrade my PowerMac G4 for quite sometime now. I just built two new advanced PCs for my Digital Art and Gaming, but I still need my Mac for all of the Video Editing, and Visual Effects I do. Here are my MACs specs:
PowerMAC G4
-400 Mhz Processor
-512MB Ram (All Slots are filled with mixxed 128MB sticks LOL)
-64MB ATI Video Card (Which I direly want to Upgrade)
-10GB Master Drive, 80GB File storage Drive
etc.
Bascially what I want to do with this machine is Upgrade the **** out of the Processor, Video Card, and buy four 256MB sticks so that my mobo will have the full 1GB it can handle. If someone can tell me in detail exactly what to do and where to go that would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Howdy,
First off I say that you copy your 10GB hard drive to the 80GB by going to Disk Utility and selecting the 80GB hard drive. From there you will have tabs to choose from. Click on Restore. And drag the 10GB into source, and the 80GB into the other field. WARNING: YOU WILL HAVE TO DELETE THE WHOLE 80GB HARD DRIVE, SO I SUGGEST BACKING IT UP BEFORE THE RESTORE.
If you don't want the 10GB hard drive you can leave that in there select it in Disk Utility. From there go to the Erase tab and select the Erase Free Space button to secure that no one can get your personal information. WARNING: YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THIS HARD DRIVE AGAIN IF YOU DO THIS. ONLY DO THIS IF YOU ARE THROWING IT OUT!

Need some real serious help with continuing disk problem

The story started when my internal hard drive, in my 15" lap top, gave up the ghost, and I bought a new replacement:
Seagate Momentus 5400.2 ST9120821A - hard drive - 120 GB - ATA-100
Manufacturer: Seagate Technology Inc.
Specs: 120 GB, 12.5 ms, 5400 rpm, 8 MB, ATA-100, 2.5" x 1/8H
I installed it in my laptop (model M8859LL/A) which I booted with my Tiger installation DVD. However, the Disk Utility Program did not pickup my new hard drive. I also booted with my DiskWarrior program and it doesn't see the disk either.
I got in touch with Seagate. The rep. there says it could be a bad disk, but asked if my laptop was compatible with the drive. He asked me to listen for disk noise when I turned on the computer -- there was none. That convinced him that the disk was defective.
Subsequently I found that the hard drive was indeed compatible with my laptop and that the second one was defective, so I sent that one back and ordered a replacement.
I just installed the replacement disk, However it too is not be seen by either Disk Warrior or Disk Utility. What now???

Hi Dan,
If, as Matthew suggested, you have the HD connector properly seated and it still doesn't work, the HD cable/connector itself may be damaged and need to be replaced. They are relatively inexpensive, so that would be my next troubleshooting step. You should be able to find one at one of the following:

Only Microsoft's Office for Mac 2011 14.4.8 will work on your Windows Office files in their native document format. Anything else, and particularly Apple's Pages, Numbers, and Keynote will perform translation on open, and export. This can, and will, introduce differences to your original documents, especially when sharing with others in the Windows Office 2010/2013 applications.

The free LibreOffice is aggressively developed and designed as an MS Office replacement suite. There are occasions where it can open documents that Office for Mac, and Apple's products ignore. Extensive PDF manuals for the individual applications. Unlike Word, you can have two-up page viewing with a button click, or edit multi-page PDF. There is a forms designer. It can open nearly any document including MS Publisher and Visio documents from the Windows space. I use it.
MS Office 2015 Preview for Yosemite is available, but as its title would suggest, it is not done yet, and some features are missing. I created a single-page Word document with a DRAFT watermark. Only LibreOffice v4.4.1 was able to open this document and preserve the watermark.

I've got a problem with shopping cart's currency. I create the shopping cart with 1 item currency "EUR", I see in my backend ECC 5.0 , my purchase requisition have got a currency in "CHF".
System SRM : SRM 5.5
System ECC : 5.0
The scenario for approval shopping cart is automatic, the workflow WS1000060 is active.

Hi,
BAPI is nothing but a function module and also RFC enabled. So u can call that fm from outside SAP. U can call that BAPI using some logic or u can make hardcoding the parameters, its depends mainly on ur requirement.

Compiling the following code outputs the error that the javaBean curItem does not exist. However, my other code depends on a javaBean curItem. I don't understand why I cannot update the quantity property of a specific object (curItem) in the arrayList lineitems if I am declaring curItem to be an object inside lineitems using the var attribute. curItem is not a java bean; it is a variable that points to a value from the lineitems list. setProperty requires a an actually declared bean (something you declare with jsp:useBean).
What gave you the conclusion that you should be using jsp:setProperty anyway? Everywhere else in the page you are using c:set :s

I need some suggestions on what type of dock to buy for my iPod Touch 4 that would be combatable with it.

I use to have a JBL dock for my iPod Touch 4 but it no longer works with it. I seem to be having some problems finding a dock that would work with a iPod Touch 4. All I want is a good dock with stereo sound and that is chargable and would also have an adaptor so I won't have to use batteries but one with batteries will do if that's all I can find. I don't need one that has a radio and a clock with it. One that probably doesn't go over 100.00. Would like some suggestions from anyone please? Thanks.

Hyperlinks in SWF. Need some guidance, InDesign help's suggestions didn't work.

I have a file, which I have uploaded to dropbox. I want that file to open from dropbox when clicked on the hyperlink. The link doesn't work neither through hyperlink nor button action.
Also, I want another hyperlink to direct people to a blog, but as I said, non of the hyperlinks work.
How do I make them work or what other ways is there to overcome this problem smoothly?
The hyperlinks work just fine in swf preview mode.

BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB does not get populated with shopping cart

Hello Gurus,
We are facing some weird issue out of blue. We have SRM 5.0 Classic scenario with ECC 6.0 backend system. We have everything configured and it was working i mean shopping carts were successfully transferring into ECC system as PR.
Suddnely now we are getting error Item in transfer process for all the shopping carts. While checking into RZ20 monitor it shows following error " Backend application errors: Shopping cart (PReq. 7000027359): W5 002 No items exist (not possible to save)".
When we put debug in CLEAN_REQREQ_UP we found out that table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB which should get populated whenever shopping cart is approved it not getting any data.
Could you please let us know what could be the reason? As all the user IDs with which RFC's are maintained at SRM and ECC level active and all proper authorization are there.
Please advise.

Hello Ritesh,
Actually, the document tab is updated by the SC transfer (SC spooler). Each time the system starts the shopping cart transfer, an entry is created in BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB until the CLEAN_REQREQ_UP is executed.
You could debug the shopping cart transfer and check if the follow-on document is being created.
Also, you could check the SPRO customizing -> SRM SERVER -> Techcnical Basic Settings -> Set Control Parameters, and check its value.
As additional information, you can check the note 1173815, which provides some information regarding the follow-on document creation (customizing tables).
