So the 7 month old 'pup' grabbed the phone off the desk and bit the screen so it now displays a black splotch only. Phone works fine otherwise, and I bought a new 2220.
BUT, my contacts were not saved to the sim.
I have OVI running and trying to connect bluetooth to get my contacts back, but I have to set the 2680s to have bluetooth on.
Is anyone willing to talk to me on Skype and talk me through the keystrokes to turn on bluetooth and transfer contacts??

I have a very similar network set as you describe.
N devices go to 5 GHZ N router a TC connected by ethernet and N+B/G devices go to the secondary "bridged" router an Extreme connected by ethernet. I also have one more Extreme set also in bridge mode and connected by ethernet. the first two routers are also set to create their own wireless network. You set all this configuration using Airport Utility. I have a HP usb Bonjour shared laserjet connected to the first Extreme. ATV by ethernet to the TC. Xbox360 connected to the first Extreme wirelessly. I've since departed both my Express routers, did not need anymore but I used to have them set in bridge mode and create their own wireless network. Just point each computer device depending upon their speed of wireless card to which ever network you created, keeping the N separate from the B/G.

Hi,
I need some help. I have a VI that was written in Labview 7.1, but our research grouip only has a license for 6.1. It's a fairly simple VI for controlling a piezo driven microscope stage. I manged to find someone else at the uni with Labview 7.1 to save it in version 7.0. Now I need someone to save it in version 6.1 for me. If anyone could help me out, it'd be greatly appreciated (and would save me a more than a few hours trying to write the VI myself)

Hi Sam,
i don´t think so. I recommend to write it new. See the attached pictures as a suggestion. You don´t need local variables.

Need someone with Apple knowledge!!

Just been to the Apple Store in Stratford, London to get my iphone 5 replaced as the sleep wake button stopped responding. I was in and out and i was done. The member of staff who served me seemed very rushed and i didn't have his full attention so when we were going through the process it was a bit more unpleasant than usual.
My concern is, when he asked me to erase my phone, i by mistake erased all my settings, rather than erasing all my content and data and due to his rushed manor i didn't get a chance to double check, then my old phone was in a box and under the counter.
I didn't realise this had happened till i was on my way home, can anyone tell me that my phones content will be erased? as i dont particulirly want some apple repair guys prank calling all mny contacts, if anyone could reasure me with this, that would be great and put my mind at rest.
I did try and erasing it through find my iphone app but of course the sim card needed to be in the phone for it to connect to the internet.

If you enabled "Find my iPhone" in Settings, go to iCloud.com on a computer and you can erase it remotely.
Other than that, you will have to rely upon the Apple employees to have something better to do with their time than to use a customer's phone to make prank calls to the Vatican. It may have been fun for Steve Wozniak to do that, but today such a stunt will just get an Apple employee fired from his highly coveted job.
Your iPhone will be sent to a factory where it will either be completely erased as part of its refurbishment process, or destroyed and properly disposed of.

Need Step-By-Step for help for setting up accruals for online payslip.

I am attempting to setup accruals to show on the online payslip in 11.5.10.2. I have read through the documentation and followed the steps, however the vacation accruals continue not to show on the online payslip. Consultants implemented this system originally but did not setup vacation accruals to show on the online payslips. Online Payslips are working, but the accruals are not showing, they were never set up to.
We have done the following:
-US Super HRMS Manager-Work Structures- Organization- Description
-Selected our Organization- Others- Payslip Information
-Under Additional Organization Information- Setup the vacation accrual as:
Type: Element
Element Name: Vacation accrual
Input Value: Hours
Display Name: Vacation accrual
-We have run a payroll in TEST and viewed the online payslip for an employee, but the vacation accrual portion does not show.
Are there additional steps I am missing?

You don't say which router you use but I guess it is not a VLAN Router. The SRW is a L2 switch. It separates VLANs on ethernet level. If you want to make some sense out of that you'll need a VLAN router or L3 switch to which you trunk all those VLANs and which routers the traffic to the internet and between the VLANs. The SRW cannot do that. It separates the VLANs but it cannot join them or route traffic between them. Routing is a task of a router or L3 switch.

Need someone with experience using Google fonts!

Doing my first site using Google fonts... love it! BUT I have a problem! Since I'm using a condensed Google font, when I'm in "split" view in Dreamweaver... Dreamweaver doesn't actually show the font - have to view it on server since it has to locate the Google font. So what is happening, it the font is showing up wider while I'm working in Dreamweaver and causing divs to be shifted around. Not a problem because it will display fine on the server BUT the shifting of divs is overlapping the area I need to work in! Kindof hard to explain. So here is a screenshot. The word "membership" in the top left nav is pushing the sidebar to the right, exactly where I need to try add/change content. Again, I KNOW it will LOOK fine once on the server when the fonts are rendered using the more condensed Google font. But will make working on these pages very difficult. Anyone run into this problem????

Dreamweaver help (F1) search for 'Design Time Stylesheets'. Choose a comparable condensed font from your system's font library.

Can someone with a brain help me get my software activated please?!

I purchased Adobe Creative Suite Web Premuim early in 2008. I registered it with Adobe on Jan 11, 2008 and have provided a copy of the screenshot of MyAdobe showing the serial number and date of registration. I have also provided a scanned copy of the DVD case with the matching serial number of my software. I have used it for the past 4 years and have had to call in for activation during this time as well with no problems. I purchased a new computer again and called in for activation and they will not activate it because they are saying now their records reflect that someone else registered this software in 2007. They have agreed with me that had this serial number been registered prior to me registering it then I would not have been allowed to register it but they still will not activate my software. They are saying they are trying to determine that the software belongs to me - but nobody can tell me what they are doing to determine this!! In the meantime I still cannot use my software and it's been 20 days since I first contacted them about this. They have told me someone would call me back on certain dates and times and I have not received call backs and I always have to call them. I have spent over 12 hours on the phone with them and trying to get this matter resolved.
There is no information on how to contact Adobe's legal department on the website and support would not provide it either. My husband is an attorney and would like this information so can someone guide me as to where it is located?

i am not clear how to use two bean one has foreign key and another has primary key in the client side
for that i make two beans and make cmr relationship between them fine
but when i call another bean in the client side i have to use findByPrimaryKey method to map the beans

The <jsp:usebean> is used for only javabeans not EJB (Enterprise javabean). You said that you have deployed SpellCheck.jar to the JRun server. So that must be an EJB. Where are you accessing this EJB from in your JSP? ARe you doing it inside the projsp.SpellCheck javabean? If yes, can you post some code from the javabean.

Need Someone with a V210, Imaging problem

We've acquired a new V210, and I'm trying to get it going. IT has no CDROM, so My plan was to build a Bootable Disk (ufsdump + Restore ), and do the installboot for the V210 Platform, the put the Disk in the V210. BTW, I'm using an E450 to build the Disk.
Solaris Version is 9 ( the latest one, just downloaded it ).
The thing boots, but it can't find its boot device to fsck it. Of course, that means it never gets far enough to reconfigure its devices (with boot -r or touch /reconfigure ) No new devices means no keyboard....
I'm 99.9% sure this is fixable by slapping a tar of /devices and /dev in from a running V210, then moving the Disk and booting again. I've done this to the e450, and it worked (even moving a Solaris 9 tar onto a Solaris 8 partition).
But I don't have this Tar File:
Can anyone with a V210 (preferably 36 GB drive(s) ) please run this tar and send me the files (they will be Ultra-Small, they'res no real files int hem):
tar -cvf /tmp/devices.tar /devices
tar -cvf /tmp/dev.tar /dev

If your Bluetooth is working, you may be able to tether your phone to another device, and backup that way. Either via iCloud or one of many Apps that send yourself a VCF file containing your contacts.
You may have to update to a later IOS via USB and iTunes, not sure if IOS 6 has Bluetooth Tethering.
I would have thought you could also switch off cloud sync'ing for your contacts, this should ask a question if you want to keep the contacts on your phone. An iTunes Backup and then Restore to your new iPhone should restore the local contacts. Then sync these back to the iCloud.

NEED HELP TO SET UP SMALL NETWORK - WIRELESS SIGNAL FROM NOVATEL U760 USB

I need help setting up a small network in my new home in Florida, which has no wired broadband capability - not cable, not dsl. My options are satellite (which I'd like to avoid) or wireless broadband via Millenicom (or now Virgin Mobile) using their Novatel U760 USB stick.
Here are the network components - someone please tell me how to set this up:
PC #1 (has wireless card, but I've connected it by ethernet to the router)
PC #2 (no wireless card; connected via ethernet to router)
MACBOOK, 1 1/2 years old (2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 gigs RAM), running OS 10.58, connected wirelessly to router.
AIRPORT EXTREME BASE STATION, Model A1143.
I'm not thrilled about using a wireless 3G signal as my primary one, (sprint network, claims 600 - 1400 kbps speed), but it costs 1/2 to 1/3 of what a slightly faster satellite signal would.
I have not ordered this service yet. Before I do, I'd like a clear understanding that I can, in fact, set up my simple network, which I'd probably do the same as it's now configured with cable broadband - both PC's plug via
ethernet into the Airport Extreme router, the MacBook connects wirelessly - AND,
my question is this:
Can I plug the wireless card - a Novatel U760 USB-stick device - straight into that USB slot in the Airport Extreme base station and will it automatically recognize that device?
Or, do I have to plug it into the MacBook and somehow share that wireless signal between the 2 PC's (only 1 of which has a wireless card, so I'd have to get a card for PC #2)?
And help anyone can provide will be much appreciated!

Im assuming other devices include USB modems.
So, I would say your cheaper route would be to get a second wireless card and just share your internet connection from one of your PC.

I'm a beginning developer and I need help in setting up my user configuration

Sorry if this is kind of vague and needs very extensive responses, but I can't find any resources online to help me with what I need. I'm doing The Odin Project's web development curriculum (rather loosely, since it advised me to follow a guide that wasn't very helpful and I switched to this one instead – also listed in TOP anyway) and I'm having trouble with setting up my Ruby environment. I could set up Brew, Git and Heroku just fine, but when I try to install Ruby 2.2.1 with RVM so all my files will be in the proper directories, I hit a problem. Here's the entire log – notice that I have 2.2.1, but not in the /.rvm directory as advised by Installfest. What's really worrying about this is that I do have clang 3.0 instead, and yet every time I need to do something with it I get the same error message. I started reading this and this hoping they'd clear things up, but they assume prior knowledge of compiling source code and setting up an entire system (and A LOT more prior knowledge than what I have at that). Every other clang/LLVM resource I've looked at is for advanced users.
The other compiling issue I'm having is with Python 3. I asked for help on Homebrew's Github repository and they told me that there's something wrong with my user configuration, but I have no idea how to fix it or even where to start. All the resources I can find are either for people who don't know what the command line is, and just teach you basic syntax, or advanced software developers – nothing in the middle. I really, REALLY need someone to help me out with this configuration issue or at least point me to a more appropriate guide that I haven't found yet.

Before you do that, just realize there is a very good chance it will mess everything up. When you are using these 3rd party languages and frameworks, and especially 3rd party tutorials, you have to play by their rules. I just wanted to know what OS you were running. Many of those various 3rd parties will assume something newer than 10.6.8, but also something older than 10.10.2. I have no idea what the exact magic sauce would be to get to exactly the right version.
You might want to consider Linux in a virtual machine. It won't be any easier to setup and may be much more difficult. But you can deal with the ruby and python inside the Linux without possibly screwing up all of your other software in the Mac world.

Your images are not stored in the catalog. They are stored in folders on your computer. If you imported images that were already on your computer using the "Add" Option they are still in that same folder. If you imported images from your camera then they are in the folders that you specified when you imported. The catalog points to those images wherever they are located, and records all of the adjustments that you make to the image. When you send an image to Photoshop for further editing and save that image in Photoshop, it is normally saved back in the same folder as the original image.
Images are not "saved" in Lightroom. The basic default workflow in Lightroom is to store all of the adjustments in the catalog, leaving the original image completely unmodified. The catalog becomes the central controlling mechanism. It is a database that contains pointers to where the images are located and a record of all adjustments made to those images using Lightroom. Properly managed, you only have those original master files and secondary files for the ones that you have sent to Photoshop for further adjustment. When you want to provide a copy for someone else, you use the export dialogue for that purpose. I often export JPEG images to share with others or to post on the web. After I have usedthe JPEG for its intended purpose I delete it.
