Need step-by-step instructions to add a barcode
Hi folks,
I am a complete newbie when it comes to adding a barcode to a form, so I need simple step-by-step instructions on how to do it.
I am not familiar with scripting, and am hoping to do most things through the toobars & object detail menus, etc.
I do know how to wrap objects in a sub-form, however.
BREAKDOWN:
Form with numerous text fields and a few checkboxes
Need to add a barcode:
Type: Paper Forms Barcode
Symbology: PDF417
Scanning Method: Handheld Scanner
Barcode must capture information from 6 text fields + 1 checkbox

I have managed to put a barcode onto the form, and use tab delimiting.
I am using the 'automatic scripting' feature as I don't know scripting.
The barcode displays data from a 'collection' I created by selecting 6 fields.
However, I want the barcode to encode the field information (field name, field data) IN A SPECIFIC ORDER.
How can I do this?

Firefox is not enabling me to cut and paste when I'm working on my business website. I can tried the key commands and they didn't work either. The instructions that were linked for Changing the preferences in Firefox were very complicated and even when I thought I found the correct place to add the user_pref lines to allow clipboard, the message was DO NOT MODIFY THIS PAGE.
I didn't want to add or change anything for fear of screwing this up.

I want to use Xfinity Gateway modem WIFI with my Apple Airport, using same IP address. Apple store says this will work. I need step by step instrucions on how to do this.
Thank youI have had the AirPort for 5+ years. Have had a Comcast modem for even longer. My husband and I have iPads. We can only get wifi connection within a very short range of our AirPort. I noticed that Comcast/Xfinity was advertising their new Gateway modem with extended wireless wifi so I turned in my old modem to Comcast and picked up the new Gateway model. After going through several issues with Comcast I tried to install my new modem and was told by Comcast that I cannot use both the Gateway modem and my Airport for WIFI, it's one or the other. I went to the Apple store and asked the same question and was told that I can have both connected using the same IP address for both. I am not very computer savy and need some basic, one step at a time instructions on how to add the Xfinity modem to my existing AirPort network for extending my WIFI. I think I expained that correctly.
The Comcast cable is connected to my Modem and then there is another connection between the modem and the AirPort via USB cord.
Is there somewhere on the AirPort/TimeCapsule device that tells me the exact model of my AirPort?

If you synced it many times, you have to have a backup. It's just a question of how old that backup is now. When did you last sync?
First of all launch iTunes on your computer and go to Edit>Preferences>Devices. Do you see any backups for you iPad in that window? If so, how new is the newest backup? That will be the backup that you will want to use. But remember that if you use that backup and it is one month old, you can only restore from that date back in time. Anything that you did on the iPad in the past month will not be in that backup.
Turn on the new iPad Minin and start activating OTA via WiFi. You will get to a certain point in the process where you will be given the choice to Set up as new, Restore from iCloud - or Restore from iTunes. You will want to select Restore from iTunes.
That is the short and sweet version. There are step by step instructions in this article. This applies to the mini as well as the iPad 4 or the iPad 3 for that matter.

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself independently backed up against loss. To use a device with a new computer you transfer the content from the old computer (or its backup) directly to the new computer, not the device to the new computer. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. Ok, fine. That isn't Acrobat, and that's why our instructions weren't much use. (But it's worth saying "I didn't have that option" rather than "it's not converting", we could end up wasting a lot of your time with the wrong stuff!)
Anyway, the free Adobe Reader can't do this conversion without a subscription called either ExportPDF or PDF Pack. You may have had one in the past. Are you still paying for one? -
