Hi, i'm a new user of apple, i already have an iphone.. For this Christmas i'd like to buy this: http://www.apple.com/it/mac-mini/specs.html
the problems are:
I already have a windows pc, can i save something of that? For example, keyboard, wireless usb mouse, usb hard disks (i can format to htfs+ right?) ?
i have a tv-monitor,with vga connector and hdmi, can i use that? I don't know how to use hdmi because when i connect my old pc to my tv hdmi-hdmi i can't see nothing, i have the message "no signal" ..
And i read that there isn't the cd/dvd player, can i use the windows pc's cd/dvd player (maybe using a usb connector)? or use my laptop to create an iso and mount it with daemon tools (or similar software)?
what should i buy separately?

Yes, you can almost certainly use all of your peripherals with a Mac mini. The only exception might be a printer if the printer manufacturer doesn't provide Mac drivers.

You can perhaps use Remote Disk:

though if you expect to need to use a number of CDs or DVDs, it's probably be more convenient to just get an external CD/DVD drive, Apple's USB SuperDrive or a third-party drive.

This is the first time I have developed an HRMS Report. When I run my report in the designer mode it works. But when I run the report through the application [after registering the new report in AOL], the report does not create any output.
Does the HRMS module have standard before report trigger procedures that I need to have just like the ERP:

Need technical help with the blackberry curve 9360, smart pack BBPACK10, no internet or BBM

My connection has always been fine with BBM and internet, I have just changed to a smart pack called BBPACK10 where you recieve 100 minutes, 400 texts and BBM internet and emails for £10 a month. The texts and minutes are working fine on it but my BBM and internet isn't working it just doesn't have a connection does anyone know how to solve this please?

This error indicate that the problem is either with SIM account or the problem is with your Carrier Network . If you're unable to recieve the registration message then it is your Carrier who can help you in this regard . So , call your Carrier to confirm if they properly configured your account with BIS or if they were having any network issue.

Need technical help for Palm Treo Pro

I am currently using a Palm Treo Pro. The handheld keeps turning on Airplane mode automatically when I was talking on the phone. This happens quite frequently but it never happen when I was talking through Bluetooth hand-free.
I called up the local support centre but they simply told me to exchange a new one at DHL station. The problem now still exists with my new handheld. Just wanna know what I should do... Thank you.

I have tried to hard reset my device and even exchange a new handheld. The situation remains the same. For the past two days, the same problem occured five time in total.
How can a phone turn on the Airplane Mode automatically during a call? This is really distributing and it is totally unacceptable. I have tried to call the tech centre but no one in there could help me. They just told me to exchange a new one, which I had done before.

Technical help needed for button click

Im new to abap, just now started working in my first project. I need some help and start from you.
In my webdynpro component FPM_OIF_COMPONENT : CNR_VIEW, Participate button is there,
so by default u201CCreate Responseu201C button is grayed out. By clicking the participate button, I need to enable the create response button. For this requirement, I need to create a custom class with two static methods : setvalue and getvalue methods. In that methods I need to set the variable = X, if participate button is pressed. And when loading WDDOMODIFY VIEW method, I need to check the value of the variable, if the value is X, then create response button will be enabled.
For this logic, Can you please frame some sample code.
Or please guide me throug some materials.
Please help me in this regard.

I understand you are new to ABAP basically the webdynpro questions are posted in webdynpro-ABAP, Forums going forward you should adapt the same practice to get a better response.
As you said u201CCreate Responseu201C button is already grayed out it must be already linked to attribute of type wdy_boolean
check the "enable property" of the button.
Coming to your question :
In the "OnAction" event of Participate button write a method for example get value
"Make the attribute" linked to create response button as abap_true hence whenever participate button is pressed it
will make your create response button enabled.

I Need Dire Help Making a Flash Form

Hello, I need some serious help creating a Flash Form.
I Have used a template from another site with the following
input boxes:

However, i had the script working fine, along with its php
script,
when i was trying to add more "text" boxes, i must have

Ive spent days and days trying to work out how to first make
a form that actually works, then add more text fields
Ive looked at many basic form tutorials, but they all seem to
only have 3 or 4 text fields.. Name, Email, Comments... etc
I haven't a clue how to edit the script both in action script
and php to add more fields easy.
I really need some help with this, its turning into a
nightmare for me.

This is all about timelines. It seems there is a movieclip
named 'form' (or possibly an actionscript object, can't tell). Any
variables created on that timeline are sent.
So you could have your new textfields on another timeline.
Or you could have textfields with no instance name in the
form timeline.
Those are the first two things to look at. Post the FLA and
we can tell you more specifically.

Air-lap1142n Is it dead or just in need of help?

Hi,
I have a number of air-lap1142n-e-k9 access points, so far they have all been deployed successfully aprt from this one unit.
When I deployed it, it joined the wlc as normal, downloaded the image, and I was able to rename it etc.. but then a couple of min's later it's status changed to down. It's details on the wlc had changed to name: blank, mac address 0000.0000.0000
I've tried restarting it a couple of times with no luck, below is the output from the console:

Right Click- More Field Help- Technical Help = No help available

Hi,
I want to right click on a WDA, click on More Field Help then click on technical help to see what the underlying WD components, views etc.... are. But when I right clcik and then click More Field Help all I get is No Help Available. I have not touch the application parameter WDHIDEMOREFIELDHELPASDEFAULT. Nor do I see it on the parameters tab. So there must be something somewhere that is turing it off. Even stranger is there are to WDA's for this component. One works and one doesn't. Wonder if it is getting set on fly in the code.
Anyone seen this kind of behavior and could shed some light?

Procedure for technical help?

As I have highlighted in a specific thread my Q10 Calendar has crashed and will not be raised from the dead. It does raise the question where can you find help or solutions?
I brought the phone without a contract, the shop I bought it from doesn't offer technical help, at least not on this.
My carried (EE) doesn't have knowledge of this fault.
Unlike the iPhone there is no equivilent of the Genius Bar, there is nowhere to physically go and see someone. At least not anyone with real insight and experience.
Blackberry themselves don't seem to have a direct contact, either phone or email.
They do suggest tweeting Blackberry help, I've done this and heard nothing back and it seems a bit hit and miss anyway.
This forum can often provide solutions but I just don't think the software is old enough or there are enough users for every issue to be addressed.
Blackberry would do well to have a helpline, even a premium rate one.

Your mobile provider EE should escalate this issue for your for FREE, to BlackBerry's tier two technical support. If they refuse, you need to press the issue or ask for a supervisor.

Need some help on Wizard design estimation

I am a newbie to swing and designing GUIs. Now I am assigned a work to design and write the code for a wizard which is a little complex. As far as my estimation goes, i think it will have atleast 20 screens that it can go through (overall). I have to make all the decision makings and stuffs related to that wizard. That's no problem, but I am asked to give estimation for the amount of time I am gonna take to finish this (in days, I work for 8 hours a day).
Well, before I need any help from the techinical point of view, I need a help on this estimation thing. Any one out there must have desinged a wizard and will know the effort and time they took when they designed it for the first time. So, friends, bcos I don't have an experience before, I am unable to estimate. If anyone of you have done it before, please tell me how long I may take to finish it. Remember, I am a newbie to both swing as well as Wizards.

Well design is one thing you must keep in consideration, however, what about Testing? Are you going to use the MVC to make the Wizard?
Do you know if you have to handle in a 100% working Wizard / Application? In that case then you will have to test your application very hard. If using the MVC, then you could also have to write some JUnit testing for the Control Classes. UI interfacing in Java may be a hassel, but if you are into some simple and want to do it fast then I sugest using some 3rd party tool like JDeveloper. However do not try to use any layouts, just fix position everything, otherwise just try to code it yourself using any tool, even TextPad.
Is this a one man project? When someone asks me for estimates I try to think of worse case scenario! When developing anything, something will always go wrong, and thus in your plan you must always put some time were you handle this problem.
When doing your estimates do not worry calling this time "Bug Fixing", "Recovery Time", since that would mean you have experiance and that you know how a project must be handled.
Also, are you going to just start programming this thing, or (BETTER) you are gona plan it first? Planning takes time. (Remember the Waterfall aproach, and the other models). Planning, even if for just a couple of days would be quite better since you would not finnish to change code 5 days before dead line.
Do you have to document thos Wizard when you are ready, User Documentation / Technical Documentation, and so on? That also takes time to make.
In the end it all depends what kind of management you have. If you work in a small comapany which just demands quantity and not quaility then do not listin to all the bull sh*t I wrote above, and just give the smallest ammount you can. Otherwise ask, and check what they are expecting, then you can give a proper deadline.

Cold call from BT Technical Help

I have just had a call from India saying they represent BT Broadband Technical Help and that my system was slow because of virus infection and that they could help speed up my machine. I said that I would need proof that they were who they said they were and they said to contact 019086 7190 which was the Technical Dept and would vouch for them.
I am not letting anyone get free access to my machine unless I know who it is. Has anyone else been approached? Is this the scam I have read about?

Hi.
As mentioned, this is a ploy to extract data from your machine. These scam artists typically request users to download TeamViewer (or use it) or a similar program so that they can remotely access your computer. PC based of course. They then either load a supposed "anti-virus" program which effectively looks at the machine for credit card and all sorts of other personal data, or just do it manually.
The number you've been given (though the one quoted looks to be invalid) is almost certainly their own mate who will do the confirmation, or just a number with an answer message, or anyone! By you trying to confirm the call they will probably just go away and call the next unfortunate person.
As an aside, TeamViewer is actually very handy, I've used it for friends/relatives.

Remote App on iPad connects but drops after about 20 mins. Need to turn off wait about 1 minute then turn on wifi on iMac before it can reconnect. Need some help please.

This worked for me... A little time consuming but once you get rolling it goes GREAT... Thanks....
I got my artwork and saved it to my Desktop
Opened up Microsoft Paint and clicked on "File" and "Open" and found it to get it on the screen to resize it
Clicked "resize" and a box for changing it opened up
Checked the box "Pixels" and "Unchecked maintain aspect ratio"
Set Horizontal for 640 and Vertical for 480
Clicked on "OK" and went back to "File" and did a "Save As" and chose JPEG Picture
It came up "File Already Existed" and clicked "OK" (really did not care about the original artwork I found because wrong size)
Went to iTunes and on the movie right clicked on "Get Info", clicked on "Details", then "Artwork"
Go to the little box on the top left that shows your old artwork and click on it to get the little blue border to appear around it and hit "Delete" to make it gone
Click on "Add Artwork" and find it where you put the one from above on your Desktop and hit "Open" and OK and your new artwork is now there and all good.
Sounds like a lot of steps to follow but after around 5 or so you will fly through it. This worked perfect on my iPhone 6 Plus and I have artwork on my Home Videos now.
