Need to Activate 3 installations of Acrobat DC Pro

I own 2 computers - a laptop and a desktop. However, my laptop is a Macbook Air running both Mac OS and Windows (via Parallels), so I effectively need to activate 3 installations.  Acrobat will only allow 2.
I even purchased a SECOND subscription for Acrobat DC Pro, but still the system won't let me activate a third copy.

Hi Michael,
I can understand your concern & will guide you in the right direction.
Acrobat allows you to install it on two computers, however they both should not be active simultaneously i.e in case if your first system has crashed you can activate it on your second system.
If you need to activate three installations simultaneously you need to subscribe for all the three installations else you can deactivate from one of the system while using it on the other system.
In case if your have any further query please let us know. We will be happy to help you.
Regards,
Aadesh

  • Installation of Acrobat 9 Pro

Earlier today I sent you this question:
Re: I have an installation CD Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro with the Serial No/key. Now I bought a tablet that has now CD drive. So I tried to download the Acrobat 9 Pro from the Adobe homepage, but failed. I can only find the link to something like an extended version
    You reply wa as follows:

    Try the download below...
You can download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.
    CS5: http://prodesigntools.com/all-adobe-cs5-direct-download-links.html
I followed exactly the above steps an the Acrobat 9 Pro Direct Download File APRO09_Win_WEB-WWEFG was properly downloaded to Downloads.
But now, the Type of file is File, and it is not an Application (exe) file. Thus, when I click on it an window opens asking how do I want to open this file! (listing Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office 2010, Microsoft Word, on so on).
How do I have to proceed from here on to successfully install Acrobat 9 Pro onto my PC. Why is it not an exe file? How do I execute the above mentioned downloaded file?
I am just wondering why it is so terribly difficult to do an easy step and to install without spending hours trying. Your help is very much welcome so that I can now complete the installation.
    Thanks!

Thanks. Yes, I did. Exactly as per your advice in the earlier query. It
downloaded fine, from File 1. I actually did it now 3 times. Always
works well and each time it was confirmed that the download has been
properly completed. But the file Type in Downloads is always indicated
as File. I download a lot of other software and the file Type is then
exe, which allows then to proceed and install. But here with your
Acrobat 9 Pro it is not the case!!! You may try yourselve. So what do I
have to do to finally install this Acrobat 9 Pro?
So again, the file type as downloaded has NO extension, is named as File, and not as Application (exe).

APRO09_Win_WEB-WWEFG was properly downloaded to Downloads.
But now, the Type of file is File, and it is not an Application (exe) file
The file you downloaded should certainly have been an .exe file.
Did you click the File 1 link in the Windows column? Can you see the file extension on your screen or is your Windows set to hide file extensions?

  • How do I activate my purchased Adobe Acrobat XI Pro for Win?

How do I activate my purchased Adobe Acrobat XI Pro for Win now that it is downloaded and installed?  Was having internet issues when prompted and now can't find?

You need to use the serial number that comes with the purchase to activate the software.  If you have an issue with reards to the serial number, you need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.
Here is a link to a page with options to help make contact:

  • Issue during installation of Acrobat 9 Pro Extended trial version

    Hello,
I have a problem during the installation of Acrobat 9 Pro Extended trial version. I downloaded the version from the Adobe website (so I have donwloaded APEX9_Win_WEB_WWEFG.exe and APEX9_Win_WEB_WWEFG.7z files).
After that I copied the files to another computer (a virtual machine to be more precise). I launched the exe file and all seems ok. At the end of the extraction I have this message : "An error occurs during the extraction of some files. Check the disk space and the access rigths of the folders". It is a translation of the french message because I tried with the english and the french trial version (both not working).
Does somebody already has this problem during the installation of a trial version?
    Thanks in advance,

I cannot speak for the trial or Vista, but Pro 9 Extended works well
    with XP SP3 under Parallels.

  • ERROR: DW006: Apple Package failed to install successfully. ERROR: Third party payload installer Adobe Acrobat XI Pro Installer.pkg failed with exit code: 1

Hi All, anyone with this problem with Acrobat Pro XI, IM USING MAC, also Yosemite if that helps.
Also Adobe CC, BASICALLY IT just quit and i had to uninstall, re install, and I get this
ERROR: DW006: Apple Package failed to install successfully.
ERROR: Third party payload installer Adobe Acrobat XI Pro Installer.pkg failed with exit code: 1
    Anyone with same issues...

Same problem. Creative Cloud subscriber running Mac 10.10.2 on iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014). All apps work fine EXCEPT for Adobe Acrobat XI. I have tried 100 times and 100 solutions. NOTHING works.

  • Have Acrobat XI Std, installation of Acrobat XI Pro fails, version incompatibility

Running Windows 7 Pro on work Thinkpad.
Trial version of Acrobat XI Pro as of Dec 4, 2014 is 11.0.07
Licensed version of installed Acrobat XI Std is 11.0.09
Installer downloads, but when the splash panel displays and I press Next, I get the message that a more functional version is available and it bails.
Obvious why the error occurred. Makes me wonder if Pro features are hidden inside Std, the way IBM used to take the DP Manager out to lunch while the CE flipped a switch for more MIPS upgrade. ;-)
I simply want to check out the multi-media features before committing to upgrade.
Will try using another computer, thought you would like to know about the problem.

Sadly you cannot run Acrobat Standard and Acrobat Pro at the same time. The message is rather the wrong way round but basically a hint in the right direction.
You would need to uninstall Acrobat Standard. Be sure you have EVERYTHING you need to reinstall including disks and serial numbers before considering this!

I installed Exchange Panel with no issues, so my gut feel is that installation is failing because Acrobat 9 is installed. When I tried to print to PDF using Acrobat 9 Pro, the print failed due to an unknown error and I received the following error log:

    Hi,
If i am getting the scenario correctly , you are trying to install Acrobat 11 on a machine which already have Acrobat 9 on it.
If this is the case then you need to remove the old version of acrobat so that you can install the newer version correctly. Also i would like to make sure that there is no other application(MS Word, MS office,Firefox, IE etc) running at the time of install which use some of the resources needed by the installer.
    Thanks

  • Installation Issue - Acrobat 9 Pro Extended

I'm trying to install Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended on a system that currently has CS4.
A9PE will not install saying that I have a more functional product already installed, then it terminates install.
What's up with that?  Is there a way I can still install the product?

No, you can simply uninstall the Acrobat Pro component from CS4, leaving the rest of Creative Suite intact.
Go to Control Panel > Add/remove Programs, select Adobe Creative Suite and click "Remove" - the components you've got installed will show as checkboxes, so you can choose to uncheck just Acrobat (do not tick the "deactivate" box!). Once that's done, the installer for APEX9 should be perfectly happy.
Note that although many CS4 applications read and write PDF files, none of them use Acrobat to do it - so swapping out the bundled copy for a point product, even a different version, won't have any effect on things like InDesign or Illustrator.

  • What Acrobat adjustments are needed for TCS 5 (FM 12 Acrobat 11 Pro)?

It used to be that Acrobat, Distiller, and the PDF printer instance needed some tweaking when first installed, because Adobe's default settings were suboptimal.
Now I have TCS 5 (FM12 and Acrobat 11 Pro), what settings do I need to adjust in:
    Acrobat
    Distiller
    PDF printer?
For example, I plan to embed and subset fonts, and not use font substitution, download TrueType Fonts as Softfont, and download as Native TrueType, and ask to replace existing PDF file (these last three apparently must be set in the printer instance as well as Acrobat settings).... Does print quality 1200dpi work well, for example (in the past, it has had issues)?
    Thanks,
    Sean

    Forgot,
Device settings, change output protocol from ASCII to binary, substitution table, only substitute courier for courier new and symbol for symbol, nothing else.
Question: Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts .... Why would document fonts be different than system fonts (unless, perhaps, this prevents me from using printer fonts)?
