Need to add a Signature to my Text, to be Bill C-28 Compliant

Hello all. I am new to the forums and would like to thank everyone in advance for any help you may reply with. I have searched the topics before posting without very much success.
Being that come July 1st 2014 Bill C-28 will commence which requires any and all business to include a "stop" link of some sorts to all electronic devices. I need to know how to add a signature with a "stop" option to my text messages. Again this is not for emails as I am already set up for that. This is for TEXT messaging.
So far everywhere I looked states that Blackberry doesn't have this option. Well if they don't, they better figure something out fast. Apple and Andriods have it.
Please if you have any suggestions that may help, it would be greatly appreciated.

I don't believe there is a way to set that up for texts as you can for your email on the BIS site. You could, however, use Autotext as a "shortcut" to insert a signature.

Need to add a cut line around text with a stroke

This has been driving me nuts for years and I've often found ways to "kind of" accomplish this, but I figured someone here might be able to help.
Create text, convert to outlines, add a stroke. Ok now I want to add a cut line around that entire thing so it's dye-cut out on vinyl. My cut line is just a stroke with a color defined in my pallet. I can create 2 strokes, but I can't figure out how to get one to go to the edge of the other. I also tried duplicating the image, creating just an outline, but it's impossible to get it exactly outlined by hand.
If I'm not explaining this right, please let me know.
So there I have the text, converted to outlines, white fill and gold stroke. I need to be able to dye-cut this. If you add a new stroke, it's on top of the old one. Basically I want to add a stroke, to the stroke, but only the outside.

Thank you Larry. I kind of followed what you said but I think there's some steps missing here?
I'm glad you showed me how to create additional strokes without creating outlines, I was never clicking above "character", I had to click above it to add a new stroke, if you have the text selected, it's greyed out.
Ok so I created a new stroke, then selected it, went to FX > Path > Offset Path. I chose 0.02 (closest I could seem to get, but not perfect, ok in some areas, bad in others), miter joins set to 4? Are those the same settings you used? You didn't tell me how much you offset yours. Then I selected the offset path stroke and went object > expand apperance, but it didn't seem to do anything? It just removed the offset path FX option on the stroke? This is where I'm pretty confused. Why even do the step after the offset, couldn't I just stop there and print?

As you can see, like on the C. There is a gap between the cut line and the stroke at the top, but there's no gap on the left side, but there is on the right, and there is on the bottom as well? If I printed this, I would get white fill, gold stroke, and then another white stroke basically.

I still suggest that you contact the support of the email site that you want to insert a signature into and they can probably assist you without the need for an extension. Is there a way to add your signature to your texts on the Iphone 4S, without typing it in on each text? Heard this was a mistake on the Iphone 4S--hope i is fixed by now....

Just discovered how to do it: Go to Mail, Contacts, Calendars, scroll down to Signature: and where it says "from my Iphone on messages - delete it and add your name, and/or phone no--whatever you like...doesn't take up much space...This is apparently the "fix" the Iphone 4S did....
It did not originally come out with that on it...now it is there - must have come in an update..

Can anyone help me to create header and fooder in text file.Well you plainly have the code to write the file contents; and furthermore your report seems to be contained in a List called 'data'. Why not just add the header and footer lines to it? I'd also suggest making 'data' a LinkedList. That way you can add the header afterwards with no performance hit, just in case the information it contains isn't available at the start of your report loop.

Signatures in iPhone text messages

How can you add a signature to a text msg? I really want something at the end of each text. Is there a way to do this?

In a text message of 120 characters ?
I don't think so - but ask away of course.
You can always have little note with the standard text on it and cut & paste into the end of the text message however I suspect most signatures would use the 120 characters themselves let alone with the message added.

The purpose of long text is so that business users can add additional information while processing the order so that everyone can check the text.
Please tell us why do you want to block the production order text? Also why do you need a new tab for long text? and where do you want that information to be stored?

I need to add a standard text created in so10 with a box at the end of the purchase order.
This should trigger dynamically if the condition is correct.
For ex : PO created in plant = 100 then this text should be displayed at the end of the PO page with a box.
DO I have to create a Window and then include this text created in so10 and then give the conditions?

Usually in the form of video outtakes, movie trailers, cast and crew interviews. Basically, the stuff that gets bunged onto commercial DVDs as extras or ends up on late night TV "Making Of..." shows.
To answer the OP, you want a button on the menu that leads to a still image, or series of them, set up as a slide show. You can copy/paste the text in DVD Studio and then add formatting via the Text menu. (Highlight the text and right click to access formatting controls). Or do it in a graphics application using the appropriate video image preset.

Need to add and manipuate text in slideshow.

I have created a slideshow in iDVD, but I need to add text to some slides. I know you can check an option to show the titles of the photos, but this isn't quite what I need. I only want text on some slides and I would like to be able to manipulate where the text is, how it moves, font/color, etc for each individual slide. Also, it's kind of an annoyance to have to name the photo what I want the text to say.. I'd rather just add a text box.
After a lot of experimenting and researching, I'm pretty sure this cannot be done using iDVD or iPhoto. I also have Final Cut Pro and DVD Studio Pro, but am relatively new to these programs and haven't tried using either of them for this yet.
So, does anyone know what program I can use to add text as described above?

In such cases I go a different route.
I use Photo to Movie:

which not only does what you are asking, but heaps more besides.
Once complete it will transfer the project to iMovie for completion (chapters etc) thence to iDVD or Toast for burning.

Need to add bit of text to each page-is there something I can do to 'automate' the process?

Somehow in the process of piecing together a book, I did use Master Page elements for most of my pages, but not for many other pages.
So now I have to add a small bit of text (the name of the book) and a page number (I didn't add page numbers because I didn't know what pages would go where; now I've got all of that organized) at the bottom of each of these pages. Y will be the same for these new additions for both even and odd pages, but the X factor will be quite different of course.
Is there something I can do to speed up the process?
I'm wondering if, after the fact, I can create two new Master Pages that have just these two elements (the name of the book and a placement for a page number), and then apply this to my pages.
I hesitate to try this in case it adds these two new elements, but gets rid of everything else. If that's a possibility I'd rather just enter each of these elements one at a time, adding numbers for X and Y, carpal tunnel be damned!

You can apply a master page without affecting anything that is already there.
If you are worried about losing data, you can try this on a copy of the file, just to be safe.

Impossible to edit or add the signature in a freshly installed convergence

we are using directory server 6.3
messaging server 7.0
convergence patch 3
in the convergence web interface is not possible to edit or add the signature the text box doesn't react to my input, click or mouse
is there something that need to be added to the ds in order to be able to edit the signature?

Add/Remove Programs - export to text file?

Hello,
I am wondering if it is possible to export a list of everything in add/remove programs to a text file for inventory purposes.
I have not found any easy method to do this short of copying reg files or installer 3rd party software. Since the idea is to save time neither of those are viable solutions.
Does anyone have any ideas?

You could try this vbs script that lists installed programs and add info to a text file.
