Need to add Excel as option on SAP report view (currently only ALV layout)

Some users currently have the option to view a report in either the standard ALV layout view or as Excel (example output - transaction VA05). They also have the Excel icon on their toolbar. Our issue is that not all users have this option in their GUI. What do we need to do to add the Excel icon/view option to either their account or their GUI?

The export option is coded into the application.
Can you advise if all users are using the same application VA*?
Do all users have the same Gui patch and version?

How to add Additional fields in standard SAP Report RMCLOBJVN ,TCODE CL6BN

i am facing problem in Report RMclobjvn , TCODE is CL6BN
i have to add some additional fields on the result screen.
but when i search inside the report i could not retrieve any user exits but through a search utility i got 4 user exits of which 2 seem to be useful.these are
Exit name
CLCLRS01 Additional Fields on the Result Screen
CLCLRS02 Fill the Additional Fields on the Result Screen
i activated the these exits and have tried putting in break point in side the include.
But the problem is this that
[b]that CL6BN Tcode is not triggering anyhow these userexits.
does anyone has any solution for adding the additional fields.

You can do it in two ways using append structure or include structure of that standard table.
once you added , you need to adjust it and activate using the menu utilities->data base utulity-> Activate and Adjust .

Need to add Purchase Order field in Standard report in report painter

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement to add an extra field in Cost center:Act/Plan/Comm CC Cur report.This is otherwise a Z report in report painter with 0% code (T-code : GR55-> Report group->Report).But,when we go to technical information of this report,it has four standard sap programs,which contains code for this selection screen.It does not even have a modification scope.
Selection screen of this report contains following parameters:
Selection values:
Controlling Ar
Fiscal Year
From Period
To Period
Plan Version
Selection Groups:
Cost Center Group
Or value(s)
Cost Element Group
Or value(s)
My requirement is to add one more parameter : Purchase oeder in new block:
Is there any way to achieve it.
Note: Copying the standard progs into custom prog is not working,i already tried that.
Please let me know your suggestions,if any one of you came across such requirement before.it is very impoertant for me.

You can find enhancement in me28 by following steps and then apply your logic in include of this enhancement.
cmod>Give a project name>in enhancement column give the package name ME >f4>in package write ME-->ENTER>It will show you all enhancements available in me28> find which ever suits your requirement>save > click on components> from there you can make changes in include program.to add that particular field.

I use a Mac. We have the template to place the exhibit stamp on pdf docs, but we are installing this now on a new mac. The instructions state to place the doc in the "stamps" folder within the application. We are unable to locate this folder. Can anyone help?

There are 2 stamp folders, a "user" folder and an "app" folder:
- the User folder contains custom stamps
- the App folder has Acrobat's built-in stamps
Type the following into the JavaScript console to find out the paths to these folders:

the path to the billing module is "sap.com/wec/ecom/mc/billing". But nevertheless
1. you need only to enhance in your current modul the metadata.xml file with the link to your own myaccount.xml which you can create.
2. and then you can define within the new file the menu options you need.
3. the last step is to update your shop configuration with the new menu options.

I need to add a custom button (xml) to report output layout of VA05. Even the corrsponding functionality needs to be written for this button. Without changing the SAP standard code using Access keys, is there any other functionality in which we can add the button and write the code.

As i knoew in case of va05 there is no badi or exit available to achieve this functionality.There is a provision to add some fields in report out put.I hope this is possible through a custom one.

Look at your Payment Process Profile. THere should be a reporting subtab and within that subtab is a Separate Remittance Advice region. I believe that is where you specify the format for the remittance advice document (which is built in XML Publisher). Take a look at that.

I need to add dashes to Social Security Numbers. The current numbers look like 123456789. They should look like:

Create a formula like (basic syntax):
formula = left({ssn},3) + "-" + mid({ssn}, 4,2) + "-" + right({ssn}, 4)
and place the fomula where you want to see the SSN with dashes. (If the field is numeric, you'll need to add CStr()...)
