Need to authorize purchases one at a time! HOW?

I'm about to have two very mad kids, because I just disabled access to the itunes store. It's the only way to get the parental control I need.
In the "good old days", my kids would put songs they wanted to buy in the shopping cart, I would approve or reject the contents, and if I approved, I'd type in the password and buy the songs.
NOW, each song is purchased as soon as you click buy. I approve the first song, and go do other things. What I just discovered is that my kid can now merrily go along and buy and download anything he likes, because he is logged in to the account. THIS IS JUST PLAIN WRONG. I have a kid that's spent $50 in the last couple of days; I just got into our email account and found the receipts.
I can't find a way to authorize purchases one at a time, so off the itunes store goes.
Anyone have a better way for me to get control of song purchases?

My laptop apparently has a multiple personality. One the same user library that I recently de-authorized, then re-authorized, when I try to play a number of songs, I now get a a prompt on some (but not all)tunes telling me that I need to authorize the computer. These are also songs I originally purchased on this machine. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the information.Suppose we have 20 views all are differenet and .based on condition one view will call another view.So when i open the webdynpro coponent, in the diagram view all views are appearing, it look clumsy as they are overlapping each other.
Is there any way, we can simplify the design of view in the diagram view section. For example we will put some view in different componenet of same DC and call that somponenet when ever required.
What is the procedure to do this?

Lost phone, purchased one on ebay .. how do I program it? *228 isn't working ...

I lost my phone about two months ago. I purchased the same one used on ebay and now I'm trying to apply my number to it but it's not working. I usually used *228 to program the rentals I've used for overseas. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What phone are you trying to activate?
If it's a newer, 4G smartphone, then you need a SIM card to connect to the network and activate the phone (they are free at Verizon corporate stores). *228 activates a phone that uses 3G.

Deleting batch emails one at a time from your inbox

Unfortunately I receive between 200 to 400 emails a day. i recently upgraded to ISO 7 in hopes they added a way to bulk delete emails (the same option that is available for your trash emails). Unfortunately, you still need to delete them one at a time. I'm not sure if that is a safety feature so you don't accidentally delete all your emails, but I for one would love to have the option.
I have a pop 3 account, if anyone knows a different way I could achieve this, I would be grateful if you could advise me how to accomplish this. Thank you in advance for your help.

Two suggestions:
1. From the screen that shows your inbox, click "Edit" at the upper right and then check all the emails in the screen. That might be about six emails. It might take three seconds or so to perform that action. Then either click "trash" in the lower right or scroll up and check off some more. This is a speedy way to delete those emails.
2. Use your email provider's junk mail filter to filter out those emails that you wish to ignore.

I am having a similiar problem. I did not ever have the problem with Lion and my 4gen iPad.
I allowed the Mavericks update just about the same time that AppleCare put a new Motherboard in this computer, so I don't know if either of those has anything to do with this or not? (4 year old MBP 17 dual i7)
But now when I reboot my MBP, it tells me that this computer is not authorized to play, sync, etc.. with my iPod (or iPhone) and asks me for my password. With I enter it, I get a message that says "This computer is already authorized". I have 4 Apple ID's and it asks me to enter that information for every single one and then tells me that the computer is already authorized.
How can I enter this ONCE and make it stick?

I recently purchased the new nano (7th generation) and I love it except for one issue. On my old 2nd generation nano, when I played podcasts, it would play podcasts one at a time. So if I had 20 episodes of a podcast on the device, it would stop at the end of each one.
With the new nano, I can select and play a podcast, but when it’s over, it goes straight to the next one without prompting. It keeps on playing all of the episodes of any podcast until you stop it manually. Setting the repeat function differently does not prevent episodes from being played automatically.
This can be very irritating when I only want to listen to one podcast. I’ve often fallen asleep listening to one episode of a podcast, only to be woken up hours later by the iPod working its way through all subsequent episodes. It is also annoying that any podcast which has started automatically in this way is marked as ‘played’ – even if you stop it within a few seconds. This makes it hard to keep track of what you have actually listened to.
Is there any way to set the iPod to play all the podcasts individually? I have read the User Guide from cover to cover, and can’t find a way of doing this.

There used to be a 'buy all' button on the wish list screen but for some reason that has been removed from the current version of iTunes so you will need to buy each item individually. You can try leaving feedback for Apple and maybe it'll be added back in a future update : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html

Your iMac does have wireless capability. It does need, however, some wireless network in order to connect to the Internet. It sounds like there are several networks in your area, including one Belkin router that is not encrypted and several other networks that are. I presume that you would know if the Belkin one is yours, and you would have mentioned it. Do not use someone else's network without their permission. In some jurisdictions it is illegal, in others it is merely foolish.
It is impossible to know what Xfinity has given you. Possibly it is only a cable modem, or perhaps it has a router built in. Call them and ask them. If it has a router built in, get them to help you set it up. Note that some tech support people for Internet service providers will resist working with Macs. Be persistent, it is not that different.
If they did not provide a router, you will need to get one. Apple makes the AirPort Extreme base station, the AirPort Express base station and the Time Capsule. Other companies have their own. Be sure you get one that is up to date and has 802.11n capabilities (for the highest speed) and go on from there.

I go back and try to redownload the apps and I get the same exact message, this computer is not authorized for this device. What am I doing wrong?

I have been trying to work through this problem by myself and have so far downloaded the most current version of iTunes. Frome there when it tells me I have to authorize this computer, I had to not put in the iPad information, I had to authorize with my current iTunes information, and any iPad or iPod, iPhone information. I have several people in the family that have different accounts, so I had to authorize each and every individual account because I didnt know which apps or music was purchased under which user. No, you can't partition a Time Capsule's internal HD. Both partitions will back up to the same sparse bundle. keeping the backups for each partition separate.
Time Machine will not take the two OSX partitions as two different computers, but for best results, exclude the Snow Leopard drive from backups on the Lion partition, and exclude the Lion partition from backups on the Snow Leopard partition.
There may be some files on the Lion partition that Time Machine on Snow Leopard won't like, among other things. See #10 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions for details.

Went to Settings where?
If you want to use your exisiting Apple ID on your iPad, you need to:
1. Go to Settings>iTunes & App Store and sign out the new ID, and then sign on the old one
2. Go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and delete the iCloud account, and the sign back onto iCloud using the old ID
You still have not indindated why you are saying that using your old ID originally "didn't work". What do you mean by that? Did you get some sort of error when you tried to sign on with your exisiting Apple ID?
