Need to be able to run my iweb website from a CD on a PC and a Mac

I'm creating a website for a school project, and every time I copy the files or publish the website to the CD, it will not run the website off of the CD on a PC, only the mac i'm creating it on.
I can look at each individual page, but it will not show any content but the title and background when i open the index folder.
The links do not appear in the Nav Bar, and the albums do not appear on the pages i made.
I have only tried to access it on PC's, not another Mac. It runs fine off of the Mac i'm making it on.
Please help,
Matt

I would like to confirm if I will be able to run Photoshop Cloud Services from Israel, Sofia, CR  it is not listed in th countries list.

    I don’t know.
But if you only have to work while travelling about (and I understand correctly) then this might not be an issue with cloud-Photoshop as that can work offline and »only« needs to verify the license every 30 days (or so).

    Hi amy6cole3,
You can download the HP iPrint 3.0 app from your apps market. Once this is downloaded, you can open the app, select the item to print, and touch print.
Here is a helpful link to help you with setting up HP iPrint 3.0.

  • Not able to run web dynpro application from portal.

    Hi portal experts,
I want to run my web dynpro application from portal.
So created a seperate iview  and a role  for the purpose.
Assigned the iview to the role and also mapped a abap user id to the new role created.
But when I click on 'preview'  the iview , getting the following dump.
    Error when processing your request
    What has happened?
The URL http://mnghcmsap:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zhr_cp_admin/ was not called due to an error.
    Note
The following error text was processed in the system HRM : Die URL enthält keine vollständige Domainangabe (mnghcmsap statt mnghcmsap.<domain>.<ext>).
The error occurred on the application server mnghcmsap_HRM_00 and in the work process 0 .
    The termination type was: RABAX_STATE
    The ABAP call stack was:
    Method: CHECK of program CX_FQDN=======================CP
    Method: STARTUP_CHECKS of program CL_WDR_CLIENT_ABSTRACT_HTTP===CP
    Method: HANDLE_REQUEST of program CL_WDR_CLIENT_ABSTRACT_HTTP===CP

    What can I do?
If the termination type was RABAX_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination in the system HRM in transaction ST22.
If the termination type was ABORT_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination on the application server mnghcmsap_HRM_00 in transaction SM21.
If the termination type was ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can search for more information in the trace file for the work process 0 in transaction ST11 on the application server mnghcmsap_HRM_00 . In some situations, you may also need to analyze the trace files of other work processes.

Please let me know if I am doing the process correctly and also let me know if I am missing somthing.
    Thanks,

Are you able to run teh web dynpro application independtly i.e. without creatin an iview.
    http://mnghcmsap:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zhr_cp_admin/ by using this link.
or there also you are getting the error.
i guess there also you should be gettign the error.
this is some problem with the FQDN settings in the abap system.
in the host name of the web dynpro applciation server one .(dot) is must.
so you might have to change the host name to some thing like mnghcmsap. from mnghcmsap
    thanks

  • Pages tells me I need to upgrade to 5.0 to open documents from iCloud.  When I go to the mac app store it says pages 5.0 is installed, but Pages says it's running 4.3.  I just want to open documents on my mac that were created on my iPad.

Pages tells me I need to upgrade to 5.0 to open documents from iCloud, but the mac app store says its already installed and won't let me upgrade.  when I check the version of pages I am running it says 4.3.  I just want to be able to open documents on my mac that were created on my iPad.  How can i get Pages 5.0?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
You already have got Pages 5.0, but you still have got Pages 4.3, so Pages 4.3 is being opened instead of the newest version, being this the reason why you get a message telling you to update Pages to the most recent version.
If you don't need the old version, open a Finder window, choose Applications in the sidebar and delete the old Pages icon or move it to an external drive. I don't recommend you to do this, as users are complaining about the lack of features of the new version.
Instead, what you can do is to put the new Pages icon in the Dock by dragging it from the Finder window to the Dock, so you can open the new Pages version from the Dock and you can open all your documents with it after opening the application

  • I Have a silver w/Mirror doors dual 867 running OSX10.2. I try to install OS9.2.1 I get "THIS PROGRAM CAN NOT RUN ON YOUR COMPUTER" Message I need to be able to run Classic.

I have a powermac Silver with mirror doors 867 dual processors running OSX 10.2 no problem there but I need to run Classic but when I try to install OS 9.2.1 I get a "THIS PROGRAM CAN NOT RUN ON YOUR COMPUTER" message.

Your G4 (MDD) dual 867MHz model Mac requires the model-specific version of OS 9.2.2 which originally came with that machine. It can not use any other version of OS 9.
The model-specific version of OS 9.2.2 can be installed using the original disk set which came with that machine; that disk set boots to OS X 10.2, but the installer on it can install OS 9.2.2 (Classic) as an option.
There is no stand-alone install disk (such as a retail, i.e. white-label, CD) which can be used to install Classic on that model G4.

    Regards,
    Berchmans

    Hi Berchmans,
You need to provide oracle application user name and password and any responsibility which is assigned to this user.
Here no DB connection is made and tested.
Whenever we login to oracle application we provide user name and password and then we see the responsibility list and then once you select any responsibility then list of functions.
To run your page with same functional security JDeveloper needs user name and password with his valid responsibility key and responsibility application short name.
    Hope it is clear now.
    Regards,
    Sandeep M.

  • I need to send fonts used in an iWeb website. Where are they?

I redid a site for a friend who wants it sent to him so he can make changes in the future. He has iWeb as well. He needs ArialMS which his iWeb is substituting for ArialMT. All the copy is rewrapping when published. I can't locate that font. I tried Spotlight but to no avail. Where do I look? Am I looking for a typical font folder or does iWeb use something different? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks, yes I know that although that list was helpful. The problem is that the guy I'm sending it to says his machine requires Arial MS and I don't have that... just Arial. It wants to substitute with Arial MT but the text rewraps and throws everything off. I notice at the bottom of the link you sent it talks about different machines requiring different fonts so that may be it. I scanned it briefly but have to look at it closer. He is using a Mac Pro.
Also, he is a programmer (backend guy) and gave me coding to put into snippets for login buttons and such yet he doesn't see the coding when he opens the coding of a page. How does he access it? He has existing pages with forms for his clients to use that he has to alter and update the look to the site I made. Any thoughts?
I was just trying to help him... don't know if I did at this point.

  • HT1338 I am running on 10.5.8 and my mac says that I don't need system updates when clearly I do since I am running on Leopard. I have been trying to upgrade and my mac wont allow me? What's wrong with my macbook?

    I need help!

Upgrade Paths to Snow Leopard, Lion, and/or Mountain Lion
You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99. To access the App Store you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.6 or later installed.
    Upgrading to Snow Leopard
You can purchase Snow Leopard through the Apple Store: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard — Apple Store (U.S.). The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will be sent physical media by mail after placing your order.
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store. Access to the App Store enables you to download Mountain Lion if your computer meets the requirements.
         Snow Leopard General Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel processor
           2. 1GB of memory
           3. 5GB of available disk space
           4. DVD drive for installation
           5. Some features require a compatible Internet service provider;
               fees may apply.
           6. Some features require Apple’s iCloud services; fees and

    Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mountain Lion, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion by contacting Customer Service: Contacting Apple for support and service — this includes international calling numbers. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax.  It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.
         Lion System Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7,
               or Xeon processor
           2. 2GB of memory
           3. OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
           4. 7GB of available space
           5. Some features require an Apple ID; terms apply.
    Upgrading to Mountain Lion
To upgrade to Mountain Lion you must have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or Lion installed. Purchase and download Mountain Lion from the App Store. Sign in using your Apple ID. Mountain Lion is $19.99 plus tax. The file is quite large, over 4 GBs, so allow some time to download. It would be preferable to use Ethernet because it is nearly four times faster than wireless.

  • I need to be able to lock my home page from IT intrusions

Our IT department has some kind of script to reset our setting every time the computer reboots. That includes the Home page. I switched to Firefox because they were doing it on IE. Now they found a way to do it on Firefox too.. My home page contains all my links, organized a certain way to be efficient. I need a way to either prevent them from changing my home page, or some way to undo their damage automatically at startup. Can you help? A good start would be to know in what file the homepage is located. Maybe I can make it write-protected, or keep a good copy of it, and rewrite it periodically... Thanks in advance.
== IT figured out a way to change the homepage on Firefox

    Hello dhrm77.
First of all, and although possibly not related to your problem, I will remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. Furthermore, it has known bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum stability, performance, security and usability. You can get it for free, as always, at [http://www.getfirefox.com getfirefox.com].
As for your question, you may want to store your homepage in a bookmark, and use it from there. It's certainly more trouble-free than going into your profile folder and change a file every time.
OR, you may want to play around a bit with your use profile ([http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles managing profiles]). Maybe it you create a different profile for Firefox and you have it selected when you shut down your PC, maybe their software won't change the settings on your real profile. Just an idea, I don't know if it'll work.
